Sativa Sanur Cottages

Location

The bath tub was dangerous. You can only shower in the big size bath tub. And getting in and out of it was a hazard. This is the room on the 2nd floor. The room on the first floor has no bath tub. However the main door is like a temple door which is quite difficult to step in as the door curb is very high - about a foot high. The pool is great. They clean it every morning. Breakfast is same every day. The beach is quite far as you can't cut through although the map shows its near. You have to walk down the lane to turn into the beach walk.

The breakfast was great. Room service was great. Staff were lovely. Little India close by serving great food. Some good places to eat at.

The internet service was very poor and you had to log on again every time you used the internet. No Channels were available to watch rugby league and rugby in Australia. We would have stayed for longer if both the above were better.

Sativa Cottages was the perfect accomodation for a relaxing getaway. The layout of the bungalows around the pool was terrific. Rooms were spacious, pretty clean but bathroom had some scum and were dated. The pool was clean and we made use of the pool bar, although it’s not really utilised.

We were welcomed at reception, although there was some difficulty and our beds needed to be separated once we checked in (we weren’t too bothered). We weren’t given a welcome drink, although we noticed all other guests were? Maybe an oversight as they were quite flustered with the bedding situation upon us checking in. Many people reserve pool lounges and don’t use them meaning some guests miss out. Some policing of this or additional lounges would be beneficial.

we love staying here, it’s quiet, in a great location, good room with balcony, great pool, with bicycles so we can cruise around Sanur easily, we’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sativa Cottages. The pool access rooms where generously sized and have a large undercover veranda space which was perfect for our toddler to play on. The room was close to the pool and was quiet.

The room and some facilities were outdated however there was work going on to renovate and improve some rooms. All of the rooms where clean and in great working order.

Nice variety of breakfast items from European to Asian. The staff was always happy to cook things like eggs from scratch. We were never rushed to eat and leave.

The french toast was always cold and the croissants were always burnt on the underside. Ants and little fruit flies were often a problem but I suppose that's the downside of eating outdoors.

Great location at the right end of Sanur! Great staff from manager to gardeners, security, hospitality etc. Room size and balcony were excellent. Pool good size.

Once a grand place she is a bit tired now. Pathways need redoing, shower was just okay, just needs some TLC.

Really nicely situated, five mins walk from the beach and very close to lots of places to eat.

Needs a bit of a spruce up but you can see they are doing what they can to give it a fresher look post Covid.

We had pool access room which were a good size and very large bed. There was also a huge bath that u had to climb into to have a shower.

My only concern was climbing into bath for shower as I am in my seventies but just had to be careful

loved the older style feel of the resort, it was very quiet

pool a bit dated and could do with a good scrub and a few tiles were broken, breakfast very basic but you can have your eggs cooked on the spot to your liking
