This place was incredible! We arrived in one of the most beautiful accommodations ever! The view was amazing. Outside of the room there was plenty of space to hangout. Great beds at the pool. Nice place where breakfast was served. It was also very calm. Not many people. At least we didn’t see many of them. Within the first few hours we unfortunately had a bad experience with some monkeys on top of the hill near our apartment. Within half an hour we could switch to a room in the middle of the resort. We never saw a monkey again. I mean, we all want to feel safe when staying somewhere and the lovely staff helped us with that immediately. By changing rooms, helping with the luggage and escorting us to our apartment. Via WhatsApp we could provide our breakfast options. When we forgot to do so, they greeted us by name when coming back to the resort after activities of dinner outside and they helped us reminding of it. We would like to thank the entire staff for making our stay at this resort more than wonderful! Especially Mrs. Wulan! We are sure coming back here whenever we are staying in Lombok again. In case you want dinner outside of the resort. A taxi/Gojek/Grab is most of the time required, but the roads are so calm. You’ll be somewhere within just 15 minutes! The breakfast was very nice on the Friday only in our experience and should be served like this every day. Take note when taking the most beautiful elevator up or down. It can take a little long while waiting to get it. The view pays off!

Location and rooms are stunning.

Beautiful location, peaceful with stunning sunsets. Close to beach and many restaurants and cafes. Restaurant at the resort had beautiful food with peaceful views. Breakfasts never disappoint. Staff were always helpful with organising transport and day trips and ensuring our safety if weather not permitting. Our trip to Pink Beach with Harry was a memorable day.Harry ensued we had an authentic experience. A very happy and positive tour guide. Thank you to all staff at Kalandara, especially Wina, Olivia, Jaswara, Wulan, Emy and Nawja. Everyone at Kalandara from maintenance staff, wait staff, reception, cleaners and spa staff were all polite, friendly and accommodating. Thank you Kalandara.

Minimal issues but ceiling fan in villa would add more comfort at night instead of air conditioning.

The best aspect of this resort is the staff. This is a beautiful resort, but the staff is what makes it amazing. We've stayed at many upscaled, luxury resorts but what sets this one above the rest, is the staff. I remember Jahra and Jessy from the restaurant. They were so sweet and the most cheerful, kind people! Jahra is my dear friend that blessed me with so much. There is Imron, Iwana, and Saopal also. The cleaning crew was also exceptional. Always pleasant and meeting our every request. I'm not sure I'm spelling their names correctly, but these people need to be commended for their hospitality. They made this resort amazing for us.

The lift was difficult on some days and very slow. We are fit for our age so taking 135 steps to our floor was not a big deal; it would be for some. Think about this if you are out of shape or elderly because it may be difficult to get to your room on rainy days.

Our experience at Kalandara Resort Lombok was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff greeted us with warm smiles and were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was simply divine, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. Each morning was a delightful start to the day. They also offered a free shuttle to our next stay which was few mins away from Kalandara. Kalandara Resort Lombok truly provided a luxurious and serene getaway, with impeccable service and hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

The one minor issue was a power cut which woke us up as the door bell went off

Amazing! Probably the best hotel Ive stayed in yet. Beautiful room, and wonderful service. Location was prime - far enough from town that you get the quiet, but close enough that youre only 5-15mins bike-ride away from the stores and local eateries. I also love how much thought when into designing each unit, giving the occupants privacy without compromising the spectacular views.

I think the food could be better. Lombok cuisine has such wonderful, diverse flavors. I think the food in the hotel has been 'sanitized' , with the spices muted down to cater to a wider audience. As a result, the taste is mild, and lack the wow factor.

The professionalism, care and kindness of all the staff. The views were amazing. Villas were exceptionally clean and totally comfortable. Highly recommend the Kalandara resort. Pande and Wina showed so much empathy when I wanted a room closer to the lift. They sorted it out so quickly and efficiently. They were awesome!

It was a bit of a hike to go to the beach but that was me because I have trouble climbing stairs. We found the restaurant menu not very wide, we would’ve liked more options. Although every meal and breakfast were amazing and full of flavour.

It was one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. The pictures don't lie and due to that it's quite new, it's still well kept and maintained. Really clean everywhere. Amazing room, extraordinary set up...choice of materials, well thought of, everything blends in perfectly... topped with stunning views.... Just so relaxing (which I was looking for).

Haven't tried everything the hotel had to offer...like Spa...(also do to a bit too high priced) Hotel staff (restaurant, dinner) is "still learning," so the waiting was a bit longer on everything... Again, with that beautiful atmosphere - ok to handle.... And everything I addressed to the reception was taken care of.

The views from the villa and restaurant were mind-blowing. They have an inclinator (equivalent of a lift) and the ride was amazing. The resort was exquisitely designed. Breakfast was ala carte and there was sufficient variety. You can make your own preferred combination. Food was satisfactory. They had happy hours too. The service was outstanding. I have to mention the following staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Putu, the front office manager, was very kind. We arrived late because of flight delays, and Putu made sure that the restaurant stayed open for us a bit longer, so that we would not be hungry. To make up, he also gave us a late check out, so that we could enjoy the villa longer. The reception/front office ladies, Wina, Najwa and Wulan were very helpful, and gave us all the info we needed about Lombok. Imron at the restaurant was just amazing, remembering our names each time and making us feel special. Oli (bartender) makes excellent coffee. Overall, it was a fabulous stay and we would highly recommend Kalandara Resort to all.

Everything was good. What could be better would be -provision of some hand lotion which they didn't have at all in the hotel, however, they were good enough to get some for me when I requested. -there should be 2 toilet rolls in the bathroom (only one was provided). The staff were very, very good, they ensured that all our requests (as above) were attended to promptly, even going out of their way to help.

This hotel is absolutely stunning, the architecture and layout are superb. The staff is just on another level, they were extremely professional, kind and friendly. It is probably the hotel with the best service we received in Indonesia after travelling for a month. The villas are gorgeous, and the view of the ocean and the sunset is unmatched. Whoever build and is responsible for managing this hotel ( as we learned it was a new property) clearly has worked in the hospitality industry before, the service is 5 stars in every single aspect.

Just want to preface and say this place is absolutely amazing and we loved everything about our stay. We only have a friendly suggestion regarding the restaurant inside the property. The restaurant is gorgeous and the view is fantastic but the food wasn’t great. Maybe try having a smaller menu which will allow the kitchen staff to focus on certain dishes. Just an advice as the restaurant could easily be the best in the island by the view and service only!
