Grounds of the hotel were beautiful . Every staff member was friendly and polite.

Cleanliness of our room was not up to standard. The electric jug cord was dirty and mouldy. Only one suitable electric power point. Bathroom outdated and nowhere to hang toiletry bags or clothes. The menus at the Italian restaurant were all torn and dirty which made you worry about the state of the kitchen where the food was being prepared .

the food was very over priced for the quality of it, unfortunately got one of the worst but most expensive mie gorengs that we had in three weeks in Indonesia. food and drinks took a really long time to be served even though we were one of 2 couples in the restaurant

My room was ground floor with a door out of the front to the verandah so I could access the beach this way, beautiful position overlooking the ocean. Great to go to sleep listening to the waves crashing very relaxing.

Only because I am a westerner I always find hotels lacking in food at breakfast time, it said bacon on the menu but there wasn’t any. Towels both in the rooms and for the pool very worn, for a 5 star they should be better quality.

Great location in Senggigi, nice spot for sunset. We loved the room and the attention from the staff. Swimming pool is great and walking through the hotels garden was so pleasent with a beautiful floral decoration that just adds up to the experience.

Definitely not up to the 5 stars standards in Europe in terms of tidiness for the little details. We realized the prices for services like tours or transportation proposed by the hotel were much higher than the ones we can find right in the corner. I am expecting my 5 stars hotel not to make me pay a service more expensive than it is but on the contrary have the best offers for me

Staff were very helpful and super-friendly. We were there for the Ramadan Feast and it was fabulous. The place was very peaceful - we got the quiet time of the year - late March.

It was sad to see the rubbish on the beach. The bed was very hard.

Friendly staff, big, comfortable room with an amazing bed (2 by 2), amazing estate, very well maintained, luxurious and very lush and green, good location right next to Senggigi, perfect to start exploring all corners of the island.

Being a Muslim island, it's packed with mosques everywhere singing their calls to prayers at 11PM,2 or 3AM, 5AM, 6AM sometimes even for 30-45 minutes. Extremely loud, making it impossible to have a good night rest. Breakfast buffet has an incredible variety of food, but for a westerner, the choice of options is very scarce - unless you like Indonesian breakfast with cooked, spicy food. No choice for a real coffee from expresso machine unless bought at a separate price form the restaurant bar on the beack.

Resort is nice and definetly a 5star one ( area and desgin) Room size was the smallest during the hole trip but relativley OK, can't say it was small. If seeking quiet and relax definetly a good choice Prices for food and drinks ok for 5*

Considering the fact that non drinkable water in the tap, just one bottle per day pp is not enough, and it wasnt cheap in the resort itself, no option for refill The service at the beachfront was poor... deck chairs were dirty and not enough mattress...

We paid more and upgraded to the Pool Villa Club. This was so worth it. Highly recommend the pool villas. So much room to spread out and the Swim up pool is divine. Fabulous service from the Merumatta crew. All the staff: Wait staff, Bar, Housekeeping, Admin and our Buggy drivers were the best. So friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommend. Thanks to the crew.

Not much we didnt like just minor things. Lighting needs to be upgraded(more watts req.) as the lighting was very dim. Bed was a bit hard. Understandably the site hasn't had a lot of use over the past couple of years so an increase occupancy will sort out some of these minor glitches. Spa facilities were a little tired but the massages were great. We were some distance from the bar and restaurant but the villas came with a buggy service. Fabulous service.

Xmas Eve Pig on Spit with relatives and friends of staff invited to attend. Food, Bintang, fireworks decorations and wonderful staff all made for a very, very memorable evening. Our holiday was very special to me and I am so glad my daughter and grandsons were there to share it with my wife and I. Thanks to all for who made this possible.

Breathtaking view and experience. Really enjoyed our stay. Definitely will stay at this resort again in future.

The room is not soundproof, even the conversation in the room next door can be heard. On the positive note, we can hear the sound of the sea all the time.
