Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort

The hotel itself is of Sheraton level. . The services like massage, restaurant, staff at the reception etc are from a very high level. All our compliments to the excellent staff. Up to the piano concert we got at breakfast. Amazing and very appreciated. Also the breakfast and the dinner facilities we really very good. The garden and swimming pool as well as the beach are excellent maintained and of high quality. In total we can say we had an excellent stay in the Sheraton and will certainly return.

The rooms are noticeable somewhat outdated. That mostly applies to the shower and bathroom. Rooms itself are not too big but clean and excellent beds. The location is at the beginning of Sengigi but transport on Lombok is always easy.

I am really thank for all stuff and personel at the hotel, they are very helpfull and caring. From lobby desk to restaurants their manner was wonderful. Hotel location is very good and closed to Mataram (center)

The Hotel needs urgent renovation in bathrooms, many parts are very old. According to the breakfast, they provide a la cart menu to choose both western and local foods, may be they can add some western cheese to their menus. Maybe they had but nowadays as you know, there are a few people to stay there because of covid, anyway their food was delicious.

We stayed for 3 nights over New Year so didn’t venture beyond the property really other than to eat at a neighbouring restaurant on the beachside. We wanted to relax and unwind which is exactly what we did. The staff were friendly and helpful, every one of them. The rooms are large and all have good views either over the pool or garden. The rooms are well equipped but are showing some signs of wear, though I knew what to expect having read the reviews prior to our stay. The beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast offering is vast, something for everyone, and is accompanied by a pianist! The gardens are very well kept and the beach is cleaned regularly several times a day. There were plenty of towels and enough sun beds except for on New Year’s Eve when the staff were preparing for the evening’s festivities. The pool is huge with plenty of room for everyone. The hotel has a small turtle breeding facility and released several babies into the sea on New Year’s Eve which was a lovely sight, particularly for the young children present. There was a good choice of food at the Glitter and Glow event on New Year’s Eve which was all held around the pool area with a live band and fireworks at midnight. All in all a great stay for us.

As mentioned by other reviewers, the rooms/bathrooms are showing signs of wear and tear and are a little dated. However the linen is clean and rooms serviced daily. My main bugbear would be the need for the tiling/grouting in the bathrooms to be thoroughly cleaned or overhauled. This certainly didn’t detract from our experience though.

The hotel has a lovely rustic feel to it. The amenities and the beach are super good. The pool with its unique slide added good excitement to the visit. Hotel location is super good with easy access to the city’s attractions and amenities. While the breakfast didn’t have many vegetarian options, Chef Rehman was more than willing to make something special to suit our needs.

The hotel is quite old and the rooms, especially the bathrooms, need an uplift. Rooms are comfortable but quite old now. Everything outside of the room is super good though

Location, beachfront, near shops and cafes, excellent pool+++, well landscaped, good size room, very+++ comfortable bed and pillows, great view, sea breeze, excellent breakfast with lots of options, plenty of sun lounges (sigh of relief), polite+attentive+alert staff (mostly), good value for money, mercifully a private beach, would recommend+++

Really need extra luggage rack or space in the room, got to pay upfront (I think about 60%), drinks are expensive

The resort itself was very nice. The freshly painted room was a good size and had comfortable (quite soft) bed. The breakfast was good and varied every day. Not that many local dishes as it’s catered to western palate. The beach is nice and clean with regular cleanup by staff. Facilities were good with the gym and tennis courts well maintained. Erna at the spa was great, went to see her twice during the stay. They have a turtle release program and there are baby turtles in their care.

They can have events scheduled at the poolside bar area but they let you know and are usually finished by 10-10:30pm.

Beautiful pool and established gardens, option of both sun and shade around pool and beach area. Quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxing. Restaurants in hotel are good and very generous breakfast included with good barista coffee. Rooms are older in style but very clean and comfortable, excellent pillows and bedding and lovely outlook from the rooms. Staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Day spa and gym are very good. Nice to see the hotel keeping the beach clean and supporting turtle conservation.

Nothing but it would be great to see more eco friendly options - water fountain in lobby to encourage guests to refill water and not buy more plastic bottles. Also replace single use plastic toiletries. Pilates or yoga classes would be great, either in the gym or garden in front of the beach

In the past we stayed at the Sheraton in Senggigi for a few years in a row. It had been 7 years since our last stay. Of course we wondered what would have changed. A lot of things changed in a positive way, but the most amazing thing was what didn't change: the warmth of the staff. The "older" staff still recognized us and were sincerely happy to see us and we were happy to see them. I think we'll go back to our yearly visits.

The lush greenery within and outside the hotel - simply beautiful and calming, relaxing. Staff always friendly and polite, very helpful. Very well maintained lawns. Peaceful ambience. Many tv channels to chose from and watch. Good selection of food from buffet. The live band by the pool side on Saturday was good and very entertaining. Good selection of cocktails and drinks. Definately value for money and highly recommended!!

Nothing to dislike!! Overall, the lawn area could have been a little brighter, felt it was a bit dark making it difficult to navigate our way around especially on the first night. The sea front wasn't as good as it was pictured - water not as clear and pristine. It rained and that affected the waters so more of a nature issue than the hotel fault!!
