It was a great place to stay in Ubud,, a very relaxing rural location over looking paddy fields - yet close to town. A dip in the private pool was a good way to start each day. The staff could not do enough to please, they were all so welcoming and friendly, the Beehouse has a great team, I was ill for a couple of days and was very well looked after. Our thanks go to to all staff. The Beehouse make use of a taxi driver from down the lane, Aka, he gave use some terrific tours including some lesser known spots and information on the Balinese ways of life which absolutely made our holiday.

After the rice harvest, the farmer burning stubble which due to the wind direction covered our 'beehouse' and patio area with dense smoke one afternoon. However, this did not harm our overall score of 10, which is very well deserved.

- Amazing views of paddy field either from your bed or balcony depending on your choice of room (we had the duplex room which had our balcony facing paddy fields) - Comfortable room, with the right amount of privacy and option to let natural light in - Our ground floor had a nice bathtub and lounge area which was really nice - Bathroom and entire room was really clean and made for a very comfortable stay - Service staff were very professional and friendly - Food was amazing, and can be served at your room / balcony - Location was not too far from Ubud centre (about 20-30 mins by car), but enough for some tranquility - Love that we can hear the insects at night, but tucked away safely in our air-con room - Great food and spa facility - Reservation and front desk team contacted us in advance of our trip to plan the necessary, and corresponded with us through WhatsApp during our stay when we needed anything

- The wooden bathroom door was not entirely fitted well, so door needed quite abit of force to be closed shut entirely - Toilet flush was not too strong, so flushing twice consecutively doesn’t work well haha - On the nights we draw ourself a bath, we notice the hot water seems to run out but becomes luke warm instead which is still ok

The view of the rice fields from the rooms is great. The private houses are really wonderful and of spacious proportions, it feels like a small retreat. The breakfast is absolutely delightful, with lots of options, fresh juices, and delicious coffee. The view from the breakfast area is also very nice.

Although the hotel was great, the one disappointment for me was the location. The remoteness of the hotel is great (exactly what we were looking for), but the hotel being on the opposite side of the city of most attractions means you have to cross heavy traffic congestions to go basically anywhere

We celebrated our 20 year anniversary here. This place was very unique and a please to stay in. The design of the rooms gave a very warm friendly stay. The staff were so helpful and polite. The pool was basic but kept you cool during the day. It was very quiet and peaceful place to stay overlooking rice fields. The access road is a challenge but expected in Bali. The bed was very cosy and just overall a lovely atmosphere to experience in Bali.

The water to the rooms is part of the farm it is located on. There was times we had no water and was told to try again. It appeared they had to turn the water on for you to have a shower and then switch it back to the farm. Not a big issue really.

The best villa I've ever been privileged enough to stay in Ubud, Bali. It is a well-arranged room with a breathtaking sunrise view and is surrounded by beautiful paddy fields. The staff at the Bee House are all amazing! They all go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They're helpful and friendly, have a grateful attitude, are well-disciplined, and are always available with a pleasant smile. We feel like a family. The villa offered us high-quality service with delicious meals. I highly recommend it to people who want to have a cosy stay in a peaceful environment.

Immerse in nature, instagram view. Their friendly staff, very attentive and always smile at you and greet you when you come back. Breakfast is very delicious. Either set menu or you can choose 1 main course(but not more than that, even add a sausage need to pay)

There is a bird(or insect) singing on the 2nd night of our root-top, we were waked up a few times at night. We called staff foe help but they cannot find anything. Slight smell in bathroom Breakfast is too rigid, wish more flexible in getting whatever we want

Absolutely amazing. Our favourite place out of 6 hotels we stayed at in Bali. Service was great, rooms views over rice field were sensational and the food was delicious. We also had a couples massage which was very special. Left relaxed. Breakfast choice was very big and daily afternoon tea was a treat. Would return in a heartbeat.

The taxi driver. We had several taxi drivers in Bali. He was the worst. Grumpy driving skills - made me car sick. Did not help with the luggage at all at the airport. Was not very friendly either. Once we arrived he changed his face and said to leave the luggage to him. Also the most expensive taxi trip we paid in total. Would recommend to use a local driver, not the hotel one.

This place is very beautiful. We were lucky enough to get on of the newly renovated villas. It was sound proof and the room was very large. We had a pool all to ourself as the next door villa was not finished. The view of Mount Agung was amazing when the cloud cleared. Breakfast was amazing, so much food we could not finish. Would recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. There is a shuttle bus to Ubud city which you need to book if you want to use it.

The restaurant had great choices although the pizzas are nothing to write home about. The staff were friendly but a tad over friendly for our liking. We felt we had to move past reception as fast as we could or we would get pounced on. Some people may like this but we just wanted to be left alone. The fields are not as pictured. They were more like thick weeds. We would recommend staying here especially to get some downtime.

The property is stunning! We stayed in the villa with the private pool and we highly recommend booking this if you stay. The location is a 12 minute scooter ride (or less depending on traffic) from the Main Street, which was perfect, as Ubud was really busy the week we visited so it was nice to be away from the crowd and noise. The view is gorgeous!! The staff were so lovely! We had dinner at our room one night and breakfast both mornings at the beehouse cafe and it was delicious! The hotel also organised our transfer to Canggu, the driver was incredibly helpful and friendly so we recommend you utilise their transfer service. We wish we stayed longer, will definitely return to Beehouse!

Nothing to complain about, everything was great.

slightly away from Ubud Centre which means you get the best of both worlds. you can be in the centre of the hustle and bustle of town and within 1km, in the serenity which is Beehouse. amazing views, soundtrack of the farmers tending to their fields in the early morning and early afternoon. The best thing about it though we’re the staff. I’ve never stayed somewhere, where the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure you were ok. they helped arrange transport, advised on what to see/do. best side of Ubud to visit Tegalalang and near by waterfalls. 100% recommend.

if walking back at night, make sure you have insect repellent and lights/charged phones as the roads during the short walk have no lighting.
