The staff were amazing, especially the lady on reception most days (sadly I can't remember her name). The location is very good, being at the southern end of the lively area of Ubud. There is a restaurant (however it didn't seem available for breakfast). Also a bar which closes at 11pm every night - sometimes with live music. There is a reliable money changer office on the site, open during the daytine. There is also a good motorbike rental company opposite. The rooms are set in a pleasant garden with a swimming pool. My room was enormous. Very clean. A/C worked well. The bed was very comfy. Overall the hotel has a nice feel about it and is well designed.

Despite what Booking says, credit cards are not accepted at this hotel. The hotel said they should get Booking to update their website. Booking also says TV in the rooms. However at the time of writing (May 2023), the TVs are not working, due to an aerial issue and I got the impression this might take a while to fix. There was some renovation taking place at a neighbouring property and the builders started work at 8.30 on the dot, making noise. I guess this won't last too long though.

The location is very strategic. Right on the center of Pengosekan, Ubud. Close to all cafes and restaurants in Pengosekan street.

No Wifi in the room. Maybe it can be improved when the guests slowly picking up more and more. The maintenance needs to be done especially for the walls on the outside of the buildings. This place was closed during Covid, so I understand about the condition. I hope some renovation will happen soon, and this property can be busy again just like before pandemic. I was there to support also.. so I understand.

My bed was horrible, not comfortable at all. The restroom was dirty, and the room had a weird bad smell.

The staff were nice and restaurant is nice

The property was dirty, run down. I had no WiFi my first few days, a leak from my bathroom and power cuts, no hot water and dirty soap left from previous guests. I spoke to many staff about issues but it wasn’t communicated and then I was asked by the reception staff I should have told them before. Even though did this many times! I was then moved to a second room, although cleaner and better WiFi, stank of damp/mould and was very loud as near the main building and band. I had to sleep with a mask as the damp was so strong and caused issues with my asthma. I again, communicated this to housekeeping and reception and at checkout. I was then contacted by someone at reception saying I never complained once in my new room! Which is just not true I tried many times and even asked for this specific member of staff, who was not there. I did not want to spend my holiday chasing people down. My last night there was a power cut for about 15 hours, this was apparently due to the rain which seems strange… i lost count how many times it happened during my stay. But this meant too aircon etc. my phone died and and I had to sit in the dark all evening. I eventually moved elsewhere and have been refused refund on the basis I never bought it up apparently. Don’t stay here.

The staff was nice.

The hotel was cash only and it was filthy. I couldn't sleep there. I freaked out for 45 minutes. Couldn't even get the lock to close and I left and asked for a refund. I felt scared even having my bags in the room. Bugs were everywhere. I didn't even sit down.
