The atmosphere, welkom very kind hosts, beautifull tradional housing, completely relax in a peacefull balanced stay ( away from still “bussy ” Ubud) Breakfast served as a handcrafted piece of art while monkeys can suddenly make their appearance too!!

The property is beautiful. The insides, the furniture looks new and stylish. The breakfast made to order is delicious and beautifully presented. I loved that it's very quiet, no street noise while also walking distance to many restaurants and attractions.

Nice room, comfortable bed and good lighting for reading by. The veranda with a sofa was very nice. Good breakfast. It is fairly central but quiet.

The only negative was that this is a satelite of the Praety Homestay. It was 5 minutes walk away and I would not call it a homestay as there were no owners on the site. (People came to do the breakfast and cleaning.) There was a menu for breakfast but no information about where it was served and how you ordered it. It would help to have this information near the entrance. Also, other reviews talked about help with organising trips - there was no-one to ask in this accommodation.

I stayed in Praety2, 2 mins away from the family home. A guesthouse more than a homestay, it was perfectly situated in central Ubud so everything was walkable yet this property was SO PEACEFULLY QUIET. My bedroom looked out onto a jungle view and all I heard were the sounds of nature. My room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The water pressure was good and I had a hot shower each morning. The shared space is beautiful and well-tended. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it as good value in this price band.

When I arrived, my sheets were not clean. However, I asked for them to be changed and this was done immediately, so do ask if something is not right. It’s time for new curtains and mosquito net. Mine were unclean. The bath in the bathroom was a silly use of space and hard to shower in.

Everything. I have been at Praetys Homestay 30 years ago and now again. What can I say? It is still the same sweet place with the same friendly and helpful owners. It is a very cosy and familiar place to stay. A five minute walk to the main roads of Ubud with all the life located at the end of a narrow footpath. It is a quiet, authentic, wonderful small homestay with a lot of Bali spirit. The tasty breakfast is served on the beautiful veranda in front of the room, which makes it very comfortable and pleasant to start the day. Beds are fine with nice moskito nets. I would come back again at any time.

A lovely stay in the middle of Ubud, yet secluded enough that you did not hear the traffic - only nature. Yet, you're literally a two-minute walk away from the main road, and 10-15 minutes walking to the city centre. The staff are really kind and accommodating, and they really went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay - including when my partner got food poisoning (not from Praety, because she hadn't eaten anything there yet) and they were kind enough to move things around so we could stay there one more night. Breakfast is amazing - I had it there every day, and my partner had it on our last day, and we both thought it was incredible. They have a wide range of fresh dishes that you can choose from, I tried a wide variety of them and they are all super fresh, tasty and also safe. I am very happy we stayed here, and the guy tending to Praety 2 (which is where we were allocated, a 3-min walk from Praety 1) was a 10/10 in kindness, resourcefulness and helpfulness. The place is super pretty too!

Nothing! Only that we couldn't stay more days there, because we had to leave Ubud and there was no room in our travel plans. It really felt like a home away from home!

Loved the fact that I stayed with a family. I saw their customs and how hard they work to keep the place clean. They also make the best pancakes in town. They prepared a delicious breakfast every morning, and they were always making sure I was comfortable. The room is very spacious. The bed is super comfy, and it has a fish net on top. Beautiful wood carved furniture, a/c that works perfectly, an awesome water fountain and a very quiet location. There are several restaurants, spas, laundry and markets around. They also provided p/u service from the airport and drove me to my other hotel. I highly recommend them.

The staff was very nice, he cleaned my room every day. Breakfast was delicious. It was a convenient location but also quiet.

It's difficult to control the temperature of the shower. That's not a bad thing though, as others have commented, there is actually a Praety Home Stay 2 nearby. First, I went to 1 from Airport and carried my bags, the owner told to me there was a 2 nearby so I stayed there. I was taken there by another staff. Both photos on Booking.com show the accommodations.
