Everything, we felt like we are at home. The room was spacious, the design is very interesting like it's inside a temple. Wayan was a generous host, Praety n her Husband took good care of us! (thank you) The breakfast was so well done, nice music and the little fountain was very relaxing. we will definitely consider staying again.

The entrance is hidden, so i suggest you contact the property when you're on your way. The bathroom had 2 water temperatures. Cold, and Very hot. Couldn't manage to find in between. So took shower in the transitions between the two.

Loved the fact that I stayed with a family. I saw their customs and how hard they work to keep the place clean. They also make the best pancakes in town. They prepared a delicious breakfast every morning, and they were always making sure I was comfortable. The room is very spacious. The bed is super comfy, and it has a fish net on top. Beautiful wood carved furniture, a/c that works perfectly, an awesome water fountain and a very quiet location. There are several restaurants, spas, laundry and markets around. They also provided p/u service from the airport and drove me to my other hotel. I highly recommend them.

EVERYTHING! It was perfect, do not hesitate to book it. LOCATION is literally in central Ubud. BREAKFAST in the morning is free and so delicious always. FAMILY members are always there to help us, provide us with more toilet rolls when needed and even cleaned our room which we did not expect. AIRCON was great, was cold. ROOM was cozy, perfect for two people. BED was so good we did not sleep for long due to alarm but we felt so well rested. NO insects, mosquitoes either! We would definitely book this place again again if we come back to Ubud. No hesitation!

The bed was creaky and was not totally soundproof but it's alright! It felt like a homestay, the family members are around so we saw how locals live too!

The breakfast was amazing . Staff lovely and garden was stunning . Close walking distance to main area of Ubud . Great value for money .

When I first arrived I had booked to stay at another property down the road . They moved me to praety 2 on arrival . This is a little stressful as a lone woman traveller . It turned out ok but I think it’s better to tell you this on booking . Sometimes this is alarming and you think you may be getting scammed .

I love this place. It’s central, cozy and calm. The room is not pretensions but has everything you need. The breakfast is delicious! It’s excellent value for money and the location if fantastic. There is a laundry around the corner, massage, lots of restaurants. I could come home for a pause after a busy day, pick up laundry, relax, go out. It’s very convenient. The family running it is super sweet.

In the mornings there could be some noise (other guests, dogs, people). It didn’t bother me but if sensitive, pack ear plugs.

The included breakfast was fantastic, the ambience of the property was beautiful. All the staff were helpful and attentive. All the facilities were nice and clean. Overall I had a lovely stay.

Check-in was very clunky. I arrived later than expected due to traffic, but still within checkin time, and no one was there to assist. I was more or less checked in by another guest. The room had a damp smell, maybe unavoidable in the wet season. I bought some incense as I don't like room sprays and it was ok.

Phenomenal breakfast with nine different main course choices and fruits or a smoothie as well as tea/coffee. It is prepared freshly and brought up to your room. The rooms are very comfortable and the atmosphere of the homestay is unique due to the nice plants and little temples. You can really feel at home here. The owners are awesome and helped us in any way they could: reminded us of local celebrations we can take part in, explained their culture, organized a day tour, recommended a cheap and good laundry service as well as organized a transfer to Nusa Lembongan and back. All in all definitely a very pleasant stay which we can absolutely recommend.

The bathroom did not have a window to open up, so you need to ventilate through the room. Sometimes there was a bad smell coming from the drains, so be prepared! Also we had a room next to the water boiler, which occasionally was loud. However, not necessarily disturbing e.g. for sleeping.

Praety's family is most welcoming and friendly. All of them went out of their way to make me feel at home. The home cooked breakfast which is included in the price is super delicious and there is an excellent choice for everyone. The house was very clean and the garden is very lush and peaceful. Do not imagine something huge - because this is a private house but if you want to spend a couple of days in a little haven in an ultra busy and noisy city then this is your property - do not look any further. Further more the price is totally reasonable and fair! I thoroughly enjoyed my three days in Ubud because I felt secure and happy in this homestay.

Nothing - everything was as it should be.

- Excellent location - Charming ambiance (lush greenery, etc) - Each room gets their own patio - Breakfast is delicious and beautiful! (not many vegan options, tho) - Room is huge and comfortable - Hot shower that always works - Decent WiFi - Super lovely people. I would 100% recommend this homestay when you visit Bali!

- There was a lot of noise at night and in the morning for all 3 days of my stay (eg. midnight, 4am). It sounded like someone was fixing their motorbike next to Room #1, or maybe it was a machine. Maybe the staff can investigate the source of this sound. - We lock the door with a padlock and key. The door locks tightly when you are inside the room. But, when you lock the door outside, people can technically still push open the door to peek in (even though the door is locked). Not an issue for me because I'm travelling light, and the place feels safe, but if you are paranoid, it might feel uncomfortable. - You can feel the springs in the mattress. This was not an issue for me, as the bed felt super comfortable, but it might matter if you're sensitive to these things.
