It felt so much more cosy than a lot of the hostels I´ve stayed at. You can tell the owner, Brit, put a lot of effort into making it feel that way. It feels like a home, not a hostel. The beds are incredibly comfy and warm (thick pillow and duvet). Brit also provides a few small breakfast options since a lot of the restaurants and cafés open relatively late. There´s also a basket with a few feminine hygiene products, shampoo etc that you can use while you´re there. It´s almost next door to Neligan´s bar, good place for some trad music. I´ve loved my stay in this hostel and will be back!

This was the cleanest and quietest hostel I've stayed at. The staff are excellent. The location is great. There's even free street parking nearby.

The shower was not great. It's small and doesn't have a detachable shower head. If someone else is taking a shower, the water gets ice cold. Also, note that the free breakfast isn't a full breakfast. It's free coffee, tea, toast, and jam. They ran out of non-dairy milk during my stay, so I was only able to have one cup of coffee. There is a shared refrigerator, though, so you can bring food.

It was a lovely community and great welcome from the host team. The decor of the room was pretty and good towels too. The breakfast was much appreciated and excellent to meet and chat with other travellers.

The mattress in the room that we had needs definitely replacing, but I think there is a programme to renew them as and when money becomes available. Very late travellers arrived past 11pm and as they were right next to our room, it was quite disruptive and they kept chatting past midnight.

I loved my stay in Dingle! The location of the hostel is great and the staff were simply lovely. It's a small hostel and there are no room keys, lockers or anything which made it feel a more like a shared house than a hostel. It was still very safe. I arrived way before check-in time but one of the staff members showed me to my room and gave me a tour through the hostel. On the wall in the corridor are lots of tips for locations and activities you can visit/do during your stay in Dingle.

The staff were amazing and super friendly! They gave us a warm welcome and it was clear that they genuinely care about their guests. They also gave us recommendations for food spots in town and even gave us different travel routes/ hike trails to follow during our stay in Dingle for St. Patrick's weekend. When leaving the hostel to go to our restaurant booking in Danno's Restaurant & Bar, staff even shared their favourite dishes, notably the smoked salmon risotto....which was amazing btw!!! The beds were super comfy and the warm shower was great! Can't find better....especially not for the same price! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable stay in The Grapevine Hotel and will definitely be using it again upon our return to Dingle!

Kitchen cooking facilities & equipment, private en-suite room, great staff who were also kind & very helpful, great vibe & excellent location.

The double bed needs a new mattress & a good double bed blanket for those who find duvets too hot, Toilet paper dispensers in toilets. It also needs larger fridge space to cater for self-caterers.

Proximity to Dingle Town with multitude of food options, pubs and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff, decent kitchen and dining area, and good rooms. You get your money's worth. Had to checkout early so couldn't check breakfast options.

There was a really bad odour in the toilet in the room I was staying. Otherwise, a good hostel in Dingle for a reasonable price.

Breakfast is included. The location is perfect. Very comfortable kitchen.

A room for 8 people, but mixed for men and women. The room is very small, there is no place to put things, I just put things on the floor. It is very inconvenient that even at 9 o'clock in the morning some guests were sleeping and I should walk quietly in the room.

The Grapevine hostel is still the best hostel I have ever been accomodated in. The staff are always fantastic, the hostels tucked away and central location is unbeatable and I love the ambiance and dedication you can feel in everything from the outside patio to the fire/sitting room where you can chill. It feels like a home from home for me. Thank you guys!
