The location was great and the bed was super comfortable.
First, no parking!! Didnt realize we would have to use street parking, and for a town like Dingle that was not easy. Had to drive around and around to find something and that was a good walk away from the hotel. Second, bathroom ceiling has mold... not horrible but very noticeable. Wish they supplied shampoo as we discovered we neglected to bring any... but shop was close enough to get our own. And last, never saw staff until we left! Check in was done over the phone! Would have been nice to have been greeted when we arrived (as we had to let them know what our arrival time was!).

Great place. Least expensive of many expensive options in Dingle, but turned out to be good value for money. Big room at the back of the hotel (great benefit as main high street at front of hotel can be very noisy). Very comfortable beds. Clean room. All the comforts for a good stay.
Dingle main high street is a bit of a free for all regrettably. Lots of pubs very close and ‘alcoholised’ individuals floating around. Although some free parking in front of hotel, wouldn’t park there overnight because of the crowds of beverages individuals all outside nearby.

The ‘family room’ would have been a very disappointing stay but luckily e we were able to move. I do not recommend the family room. No windows and two separate small bedrooms with bathroom in the hall. The family room was way over priced and not good accommodations. As it was we had a room for the three of us that had much better ambiance
I didn’t like the stress of realizing the room situation of the family room. Otherwise the stay was good.

The owners are amazing, hard working and efficient. The property is super clean beyond expectations! Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, bright and decorated lovely, updated but still charming and fitting in with the area. Bedding is clean and crisp, bed was comfortable, room is super quiet, we slept late one morning. Breakfast is fresh and heavenly! Location can't be better. Check in was easy, room was ready, suggestions offered of where to go in town over our 3 night stay. It is such a relief to get to a property and have it exceed expectations. We would not stay anywhere else in Dingle if we ever have the opportunity to return! Thank you Ann Marie and mom for making our once in a lifetime trip so memorable.
Even my husband who travels internationally for work commented that he would not have changed a thing!

My room was very large, very comfortable, and very clean. The bathroom was very modern and up-to-date. Annmarie was a lovely hostess. Breakfast was excellent, and not just the usual full Irish breakfast. I had creamed mushrooms and smoked salmon for both days, plenty of toast, and plenty of decent coffee. My room was extremely quiet, which is very important to me. The lantern lodge is located well above the town, with a number of pubs and restaurants within a two minute walk. I could not have been happier with my stay.
The only two problems with the place were minor. it doesn't have its own parking area. But I had no trouble finding a parking place within a minute or so walk. It also doesn't have an elevator, but it really wasn't difficult for me to carry my suitcase up the stairs.

I enjoyed the location and cleanliness of the BB. Additionally, the room is very modern and homie.
Only thing that I did not like was that the room did not have AC. However, even in July during peak summer, the Irish weather allows the room to be a good temperature if you keep the windows open. Really didn’t even notice no AC, just a small note.

We were very happy with our neat and tidy room. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Also, the location was excellent. We could walk to all of the pubs in town. Very nice.
We weren't sure how to get in when we first arrived. We were supposed to call the owner but didn't have wifi. But then we realized he had left a local phone out for us to use. We just didn't figure it out!

Our room was large clean and comfortable with opening windows to let in the fresh air. Our room was at the back of the hotel so very quiet, even with the windows open, great location easy walking distance to harbour and wonderful local bars for and breakfast close by. Good value for money
Sami issue but could not get the shower temp beyond warm for some reason

Convenient location on Main Street - 5-7 minutes walk to bus stops and harbour car park. Various shops and 2 ATMs on Main Street. Room (No. 6) was on second floor at front of building. Possibility of some street noise but was fine with windows closed during my stay both early morning and late night, Room and en-suite were both very clean and nicely decorated/presented. The room was checked and cleaned each day, Wi-fi was excellent. I didn't have breakfast - the breakfast room was spacious and very clean. I had contacted Anne-Marie after booking as I was likely to arrive mid-evening - Anne-Marie was in contact to assure me that there would be no problem. Due to a train delay I only arrived on the first night c8:45pm - I contacted Anne-Marie en route to advise and again was contacted to assure that three would be no problems. Anne-Marie also helped by storing my holdall for a few hours on my last morning before I left in early afternoon. Both Anne-Marie and Sam were very friendly. It is obvious that Anne-Marie and Sam have sought to make the Lantern Townhouse a welcoming and well-presented accommodation facility and they have successfully achieved. When I hopefully return to visit Dingle again I will have no hesitation in seeking to stay again in he Lantern Townhouse.
Nothing springs to mind. I didn't take breakfast and also didn't travel by car. I had no problem accessing my room - it did involve climbing/descending 4 flights of stairs - persons with mobility problems may want to ensure a more accessible room .
