Absolutely adorable. I haven’t met nicer, more helpful owners anywhere else. Breakfast was delicious! Americans - be aware that air conditioning is not the norm - I bring a small bedside fan with me for air flow.

That I didn’t have longer to stay!

Owner was absolutely fantastic. Easy lock box entry meant we could arrive at our own ease. We opted for the room only rate so didn't do breakfast, can't speak to it. The room itself was well sized, the bathroom was rather large too. Plenty of towels and pillows provided and a vanity with lots of light coming into the room. View was gorgeous and the front shared living room is perfect for a cuppa. Very clean and well cared for. Lots of character.

The beds were rather hard and just note that it is a 12 min walk to downtown dingle. Not a problem at all and worth the view just something worth noting.

I cannot say enough good things. Dermot called me back and said he had a room that wasn’t ready but if I didn’t mind we could have that room for 1 night and then he would switch us to a bigger room the next night. It was quiet and the view spectacular. The breakfast was simple but high quality and fresh. Hot croissant and fresh berries with freshly squeezed orange juice. Dermot and his son Jak made us feel like we were the cousins from Canada that had just showed up. Irish love❤️

We walked into town every night and back. No driving especially after going to to Dingle pub. Lovely garden quiet rooms

Dermot was a wonderful host. He was very kind and thoughtful; we had a great time chatting with him at breakfast each day. The continental breakfast was very nice- the fresh orange juice and croissants were a great treat! The B&B itself was really lovely, was very peaceful and in a quiet area with a nice view over the bay. We had a good sized room and comfortable beds. Overall we had an excellent experience and I would highly recommend staying for anyone going to Dingle.

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Dermont was an amazing host. He took great care of us. He helped us to navigate our day trips and secured dinner reservations for us at one of the most popular places in Dingle to eat. He was very kind and wanted to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Ireland and will recommend this B & B to others.

I can not think of one thing about our stay that wasn’t excellent.

We liked the location, a little out of town but a nice walk to town by the sea front or over the hill, footpaths all the way. Town is very busy but the B&B is in a very quiet location with fields of sheep and lambs, donkeys, goats, just down the road. Plenty of easy parking at the B&B. Breakfast consists of a small buffet with plenty of variety from which you can help yourself, plus a cooked to order menu served to your table along with tea/coffee and toast, all was very good. Mary and Ciara were relaxed, friendly and very helpful. They took time to chat with people, make recommendations and give assistance to their guests. Tea and coffee in the room, hairdryer, toiletries, fluffy towels, good wifi.

The beds and pillows were too hard for our liking.

Our host, Dermott, was marvellous. Always a smile on his face and nothing could not be accommodated for. The room was spotless, bed and pillows super comfortable. The lighthouse has common areas so the wonderful view could be seen from many different perspectives. The stroll down into town was lovely and even more enjoyable after a night out.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Gorgeous view, even when overcast. Dermot was precious and made our stay very memorable with great advice on things to visit both in town and on our way out, helping with our bags, and he even got us some cold water for the road. Great location super close to town without being in the middle of town center. This was our first B&B experience and it was wonderful!

Nothing to dislike.

The room was very spacious and our room amenities were nice. The breakfast was delicious! There was a bowl of fresh fruit, a choice of three different juices, sweet breads, cheese and cereals. Mary asked at breakfast if we would like tea or coffee and then took our order for a hot breakfast. Everything we had was very tasty. Additionally, Mary asked each guest how their day was the day before and what was the plan for the day. All questions were answered and suggestions given on other things to do in the area. Our room had a spectacular view of the sea. There was also a sitting area just outside the room to enjoy reading, journaling or chatting, with the same view.

We loved everything about The Lighthouse! From the moment we arrived, Dermot was kind, extremely helpful, and made us feel at home. It was a short, beautiful, and safe walk into town. The view is more beautiful than the pictures show. We will be back! And I feel like we made a true friend after just a couple of nights.
