Harveys point is a luxurious and beautiful place. There was an outstanding breakfast served every morning, which I highly recommend. The room was huge, the bathtub was huge and there was tea and coffee facilities in the room. The views over the lake were epic. We went to the spa at lough Esque and also had afternoon tea there, it was less than 5 min drive and we loved that experience. We were happy to have booked our accommodation at Harveys point though! The dinner we had at Harveys point fine dining restaurant was delicious, portions were not big but definitely we were well fed. We ordered a wine that was not great but I dont think that was anyones fault lol. All in all I dream about the day we get to come back to Harveys point.

The breakfast was amazing, they offered absolutely everything you could possibly want. The staff were exceptional, professional and extremely friendly they could not do enough for you. The bar food was excellent and the bar was stocked with everything you could think of. The food that was served in the main restaurant was first class, again nothing was too much trouble. The executive room was fantastic, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Had the best nights sleep in a long time.

The only thing this wonderful hotel is missing is a spa and swimming pool.

The room was huge, but very comfortable, with all the amenities one could want. The food at dinner, both in the formal restaurant and the informal one, was exceptional: interesting, tasty, well-cooked and served promptly. All of the staff went out of their way to deliver a truly amazing and personal experience. The grounds are well-kept and beautiful to the eye, and the location next to the lough was superb. My fiancee and I found a private spot to ourselves, where we could just unwind to the sound of wind, water and birdsong. It helped that the weather was gloriously sunny!

When we arrived, the room was very hot as it had been kept closed during a spell of warm weather; whilst we were able to open the two small dormer windows (which gradually dissipated the heat), the main window cannot be opened and the air conditioning did not seem to be able to cope, even though it was set on the lowest figure. However, after the first day, with keeping the dormers open all the time, we were able to achieve a perfect temperature.

Absolutely everything was perfect. The service and attention to detail were second to none and we were made to feel so welcome and accommodated at all times.

The price was a little bit more than I would have liked to have paid - BUT - I did book it last minute, the night before valentine's day - and booked the executive suite with breakfast. I was a little wary, having paid over €300 for one night, but I was absolutely delighted and can honestly say that I got my money's worth!!

It was a magical stay. We were celebrating a special anniversary and I couldn't have chosen a better place to enjoy this. The accommodation, food, staff were first class. This was our first visit but won't be our last Can't wait to return again. I have eaten in the Savoy, Claridges and The Goring and Harvey's Point is up there with these hotels. Thank you for a wonderful memorable stay.

Absolutely nothing.

Typically I would not opt for a hotel as I travel a lot for work and usually feel a little disappointed with most hotel experiences but we were attending a wedding and it made sense to stay at the venue. Well, I did not want to leave Harvey's Point! The check in, the rooms, the dining, the breakfast, the surroundings and most importantly the staff were excellent. The staff are extremely personable, look happy to be there and so committed to making you happy also! The standard of everything is extremely high and will definitely be back for a relaxing stay!

Absolutely nothing. I know other guests have suggested a spa which would be nice but I think the other activities the hotel arrange should be sufficient and there are many things to do in this area also.

Breakfast was excellent, very attentive staff, coffee in particular was good. A lot of the breakfast can be made to order despite the buffet. Suitable for all allergens also Room was so clean I was delighted, very spacious and you can adjust the temperature easily- an issue I have had with previous hotels

The TV was not a smart tv so you couldn't stream/watch netflix and the channels were limited.

Outstanding facilities, immaculate, the rooms were wonderfully appointed and very large. Great views. Food was excellent. I recommend this property highly. When we left the property on our way to Dublin, I left a bag at the property. Eamonn, a concierge at the property contacted us and arranged to have the bag forwarded to our next hotel. Amazing service and attention to detail.

Nothing.

Attentiveness of staff at restaurant and bar area. We were well taken care by everyone and we certainly felt very welcomed the moment we stepped into the hotel. Strongly recommend anyone to stay with them if you visit Donegal. You won't regret it and your stay will create a lasting memory for yourself. At least it did for us. Did not want to leave 😕

Nothing at all

absolutely everything, one of the hotels I have ever stayed in up there with the Savoy and Dorchester in London Superb executive suite, breakfast and dinner was really excellent as was the wine choices and not expensive the pianist in the bar was a gem and there were options such as a cookery lesson, wine tasting and guided walks set on a magnificent lake if you are Donegal way you must stay at Harvey’s Point

this was nothing to dislike other than I wished I could have stayed longer
