The attention of the Chinese lady at the breakfast cafe. She was even uncomfortable to see. Yelled at me instead of asking if I wanted coffee or tea. Her hair was undone, her face was not pleasant and her attitude was the worse

Very comfortable hotel and great location in Sligo town. You can walk to the town's bars and restaurants in a matter of minutes. The guy at reception was super friendly and chatty. The room itself was super comfortable and clean. Will def stay again.

I would have preferred not to have request a non-slip shower mat, thought it should have been in bathroom. a bit pricey for a 3 star Hotel.

If I tried, I could not find a complain against the personnel, services or facilitates of this wonderful, well appointed, located hotel. The most striking thing is the friendliness, intelligence and competence of the staff. The breakfast was varied and well prepared. The bar was a great deal of fun, and everyone spoke to one and other, and did not sit playing with their devices. There was a lovely reception room. The views of the river were spectacular, as was the river itself. Shopping and site seeing within walking distance. EXCELLENT in EVERY way. Cheers! I would like to keep this special place a secret for myself, but I must share.

Great location on the river and just a stone’s throw from town centre. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Reception accommodated us with an early check-in when we arrived. Complementary newspapers were a nice bonus too. Large double bed was very comfy and we had a great sleep. Hotel also allowed us a late rescheduled booking due to my wife having Covid when we were originally scheduled to travel. We really appreciated this kindness.

Room was cold when we arrived - but warmed up once we switched on the storage heater and adjusted the thermostat. In fairness to hotel there was a cold snap / freezing weather just started that day. No other issues to report.

The location was very close to major town sites, shops and restaurants. Very easy walk. We requested a room facing the river. it was beautiful to see even with the water level high and flowing fast. Our bed was comfortable and room was quiet. The water pressure, heat, Wi-Fi all worked well. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful especially Jeanette who made our reservations which was very important since it was Halloween and a holiday week so places were very busy. Although parking in front of the hotel is very limited, we were able to temporarily park by the front door to unload our bags and check in. That was convenient since it was raining. The free public lot was easy to find and really just a two minute walk. Felt like a very safe area. We are not big breakfast eaters so the Irish style choices of sausages, ham, eggs, beans, potatoes along with several choices of cereals, fruits, juices and yogurt was plenty.

Staff at check-in were really nice and the bedroom was lovely. The bathroom was amazing, lights around the mirror and amazing shower pressure. We booked a room with a river view and it was very nice and scenic. We ate in the bar and the food was gorgeous and not too highly priced. Wasn't too loud either, even with staying over the New Years. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would happily stay again.

Not a lot of parking spaces outside the hotel, but there's parking available a couple of minutes walk away.

Location is excellent, staff are professional and we were given an excellent friendly welcome by Arthur. Hotel is spotless and spacious room with huge bed. Breakfast was by far outstanding

Our room overlooked the river which was a nice feature affording views of boats and nature. but unfortunately our peace was disturbed well into the night by members of the travelling community who were gathered in a designated area outside the bar below our room. It was unbelievably rowdy. We left our comments with staff member on departure. We will return but perhaps without requesting room with river view.

Hotel room, staff, location were all excellent

The bar food was over priced, overcooked, poor quality products badly cooked and executed. Really poor. Steak was not 10oz it was also either tenderised to death or frozen. Dry and over cooked. Prawns were over cooked and cold without any hint of garlic as described. Chips were cheap nasty frozen crap. Sauce was basically out of a jar. Mushrooms seem to have been cooked 2 days before serving and left to sweat in their own juices. Starter tapas was no better. Over priced poor quality and completely lacking flavour. 5 cheap prawns for approx €13 for a starter that tasted of nothing. Needless to say there was no dessert ordered.

The welcome at the desk was the best I’ve ever had in all my travels. If I had a hotel I’d steal him. His customer service was exemplary. He’s funny and very quick witted. I hope Riverside knows what a gem they have. That young man deserves a great Christmas bonus. The room was warm and so inviting. It was very clean and view from the window of the river was perfect. Breakfast was great and the staff there were also amazing. Overall, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Have the luck of the Irish, there’s not much car parking. That’s all.
