support friendly employees and excellent location. the view is unbelievable and the town is very quiet and great for this who want to relax and enjoy their family time. we stayed 9 days in the hotel and will for sure visit the hotel again but for shorter period. i recommend to book a room with balcony, it feels like you are in yacht with great view to the ocean.

the hotel is design more for couples and small family. not enough activities for kids and the food is not dosing for Arab / muslim guests. most of the food contains alcohol or ham. the breakfast menu is very limited , we end up ordering same food everyday. the staff also are not fully aware of attraction near by the hotel, example it took then few hours to recommend good gym near by the hotel and they were also not fully aware of the golf course and process to book tees. nevertheless , i still recommend the place and will visit it one day.

Amazing views, lovely welcome from reception and the concierge, complimentary arrival snacks in the mini fridge. Nice outdoor jacuzzi. Currently having new carpets fitted and it looks lovely. Lovely cliff walk. Clean. I would revisit at some point.

Restaurant and bar is overpriced and be careful when asking for water for the table as they charge for the filtered version. Breakfast could be elevated with offerings of vegetarian sausages and/or pancakes as the waffles are too sweet. Our room wasn't made up during the two night stay. It was a shame the Michelin restaurant was closed.

Spectacular location with great staff who were friendly and helpful at all times. Most of the food was excellent being well prepared and presented with a great selection. The only let down was the Prawn and Avocado starter. The Avocado was not ripe and the prawns were chopped into small pieces to go further. Should have been whole succulent prawns as that was what the dish was.

Public areas are poor and this is probably due to the location having been built into the side of a cliff. TV in room wasn't working on arrival but was sorted out very quickly. Channel selection needs changing - No sky

I have stayed here before so had a good idea what to expect. I felt welcomed ahead of my arrival and again on arriving in person. As expected the room was excellent and the huge bed had pristine sheets. The shampoo and conditioner really is very good. Smells gorgeous and my hair felt beautifully shiny. The breakfast was a delight with a gorgeous sea view. There is an option for room service breakfast for a slightly higher price that has to be requested before 3am, which I might take advantage of on my next visit purely so can have a really relaxed leisurely breakfast. The view is marvellous . It was wonderful to have a cozy seat and footstool to sit and gaze at the view. Will definitely come here again if they have a vacancy on my next trip to Ireland.

The carpet on the spiral staircase is getting a little worn between the reception and restaurant floor. It is a beautiful carpet that has different shades between floors that kind of ties in with the land and seascape.

The view was spectacular. The room was very comfortable and had everything we could have wanted. We did not use the spa facilities but they did look amazing. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. Superb wine list. The patio umbrellas were really quite whimsical. The staff were lovely and took care of every question I had. We Took the time to check out the Cliff Walk and the views were incredible...nice walk with lots of history. I will stay here again if we are ever back in this part of Ireland.

I can't think of anything that I would change or try to improve on.Management and staff obviously know what they are doing.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service. The spa was outstanding, outdoor jacuzzi a treat and the pool was nice and quiet. We travelled with our six month old baby, and the Cliff House hotel was really baby friendly, the staff were so amazing, offering cool luxury baby high chairs, so we enjoyed our dinner together. Food was exceptional, seafood in particular. Room on the small side, but the luxury bathroom and bathtub, private terrace and views of water were what the experience was all about.

Nothing not to like

We really enjoyed our stay and we did get an upgrade which was a fantastic treat and so appreciated. We never got an upgrade before so it was a great surprise and thanks to the staff involved in arranging the upgrade. The views were absolutely breathtaking and the breakfast was lovely. The tasting menu was excellent and overall we loved our relaxing stay. It was a great novelty to go swimming in the sea and then back to the outdoor hot tub. My husband and I got a treatment. My husband has shoulder damage and his therapist was absolutely amazing and very conscientious.

We feel bad providing any negative comments considering we got the generous upgrade but overall we felt the rooms could do with an upgrade. For example, the carpet was strained in our room, the mirror was cracked in the bathroom and the towel radiator in the bathroom didn't work. The pool area is beautiful. However after our treatment there was no where to sit as the recliners by the pool were in use. I think the spa could be enhanced by having a small room for people to sit in after a treatment and enjoy some fruit or a herbal tea. However these aspects did not take away from our stay.

house restaurant was chaotic and the standard of the food was appalling given their other restaurant was a Michelin star chips cooked twice were still raw. the maitre’d was uninterested. just interested In getting numbers through. I felt very let down. breakfast was a delight. great service beautifully cooked food and a joy to start the day. reception staff were so kind and informative.

Gorgeous location, fabulous room with views. Cosy bed, food was excellent and the cliff walk and Ardmore village itself was stunning.

Almost a disaster when we arrived and were told that the policy was no buggies were permitted in the bar (travelled with a 6week old who was obviously too small for high chair and had already spent 2hrs in a car seat) but thankfully they made an exception. All parents traveling with kids should be made aware of this when booking as we wouldn’t have been able to eat in the hotel if this was the case.

View, Dinner, Chowder & Rib-eye, service excellent, warm and pleasant atmosphere., facilities and attention to detail.

Shower in Room 60, wet floor slightly slippery underfoot, no handle for support down step during exit. I found holding the dor handles a little unsafe. Full plated breakfast quantity disappointing, poached eggs perfect but other items sparce, small rasher, one sausage, B&W pudding, diced mushrooms and half tomato, could see too much white of the plate, but still tasty and hot ! Otherwise Croissants, scones, dark wheaten bread slices, jar of yoghurt, fruit bowl, toast, marmalade stunning and adequate.
