The room was comfortable, and nicely decorated. There was a good selection of food for Breakfast. Dinner, and meals were interesting. The city centre of Cork is ten minutes away on a local train from a station on the opposite side of the highway to the hotel. No need to drive and park. Just walk across.

One thing the hotel was hard to find with not enough road signs to get you there. We drove around the industrial estate for ten minutes looking for a sign. If you are in the wrong lane on the first roundabout you will miss the sign on the right. There was a Wedding on the day of our arrival and some guests spilled into the bar/restaurant making it loud and busy. Hope they had a good wedding!

Great location, 10 minutes from Fota Wildlife, Mahon Point shopping centre. There is a spar just around from the entrance to car park and it has a variety of food offerings. The kids club was fab. Hotel facilities super. The room was really big, great size. Really liked the kids buffet in the bar, children don’t have to wait for their food in the evening. Great value for money. Staff at reception really friendly engaging, especially the lady on the coffee doc beside reception.

Service in the restaurant was well below expectations towards the rest of the staff in the hotel on two of the nights, Monday and Tuesday . No engagement, really. Got my order wrong which left me no food on the Tuesday evening. One female staff member fixed it up which I appreciated then on the Tuesday. Staff on the Thursday evening where much more engaging and friendly. After the Tuesday I only went to restaurant to feed my son as I don’t want to risk my food being wrong again.

What's not to like, this was a lovely hotel in a very good location. The staff however made this hotel stay very enjoyable, nothing was too big an ask, always very polite, helpful and very professional. We recommended this Hotel to another family member travelling from England, they have since stayed and absolutely loved the place. Also complimented the staff who went over and above helping them as they had special needs requests. A Hotel where we will all certainly be going back to.

We could not say anything bad about this hotel, loved it, we will be back. The location is so accessible to so many amenities in Cork. Highly recommend.

I appreciated the complimentary water as it was extremely hot outside. Location was great (although only if you are driving there) as it was a good starting point for surrounding places to visit.. Parking was free. Lots of pamphlets advertising places to visit. Room was spacious. The spa facilities looked great but we were visiting Ireland to sight see so didn't use them. Breakfast was good.

We arrived at 12.30 and while I realise check-in was indeed mentioned as 1400 hrs, reception advised a room would not be ready till 1600 hrs. After a 4a.m. rise to catch the plane and a 3+ hour drive from Dublin airport to the hotel, it would have been appreciated if a room could have been ready earlier - especially as check-out is 12 noon. Reception did offer to keep our luggage though. The bathroom needed a bit of tlc. The toilet seat was wobbly and it didn't feel secure.

Large room with good facilities. Nice bar/restaurant and pool. Quiet area, but with a few facilities close by (spa, kfc). Little island train station is convenient for going to Cork City.

The room was a bit hot (no aircon). Housekeeping did not replenish coffee or milk at all during my stay ( I had to ask for more at reception), and left someone else's rubbish in my bathroom 2 days in a row. Pool was busy with kids' swimming lessons (still pleasant, but not relaxing).

Hotel nice . Room was absolutely brilliant and lovely and warm . Brilliant staff . But too many chiefs not enough Indians if you know what I mean .

The price we paid for hotel stay was absolutely ridiculous. As no breakfast or any food included . Then to find out we could not even get a sandwich or anything midday on Christmas day As I was previously told in a phone conversation we could get what ever we want during the day times. . And also bad menu overall for the 2 days we stayed there . The breakfast was pure crap all pre cooked food and it was not good at all . So TBH it was all purely overrated and I spoke to other people staying there for same time as ourselves and they paid 390 euro for the 2 nites and I had to pay 590 euro . Which was pure ridiculous overall especially when we could not get food we wanted and leisure centre closed very early too so . For us it was totally over priced . TBH I would not be sending my friends

Hotel was clean and nice location was good .. staff were lovely and did everything they could when they could food was delicious and service was ok ..taxis available all and all lovely trip but the lad on night on sunday in reception was amazing !

Shared balcony without hotel informing us of same but no issue arised but would like to know such things. however unbeknown to us we had a balcony ( requested but never told we had one) but .. we had a shared balcony also without being told. privacy was an issue also balcony door wouldnt lock atall making us feel a little unsafe as other residents could have entered our space anytime ..jus felt the hotel should let room 109 and 107 know they are sharing otherwise everything else was perfect !

I loved the layout and colour coding of the room it was beautiful and one of the best I have ever stayed in. Very comfortable and quiet my partner and I really enjoyed it.

I didn't like how disorganised the staff was during our evening meal we were waiting over an hour for our food to arrive and we had to ask 2 times about it before it was a brought to us. A family to our right and a couple to our left that arrived a good 30 mins after us got their meals before us finished them and left before we even got served. Really poor performance.

good location- great meeting spot /half way point for our onward journey.

rooms far too hot (room 240), bed for daughter not in room on arrival at 9:30pm , had a back and forth with receptionist who told me that we hadn’t mentioned that we had a child with us but was then able to tell me that we had booked for ‘2 + 1’ but that we never gave the age of the child? the age of the child is requested in booking.com when making reservations so I’m not sure where else I am required to provide that info - thankfully this was quickly resolved by the night porter. it was a long day of travel from the uk and Dublin Airport so not ideal. other than that all was acceptable- thank you

Secluded and very well appointed. They upgraded our room for our anniversary and there was a handwritten note from the manager welcoming us.

No air conditioning. However, it’s Ireland and doesn’t get too warm. But being from Texas, we are accustomed to AC and one evening it was raining and somewhat muggy at about 70 degrees and you want to close the curtains but keeping a window and/or door open was the only way to get some air moving in the room. Along with the small fan they include in the room. Still - it was a wonderful stay.
