Deirdre, our hostess, was welcoming, charming, and helpful. Robin Hill is a warm, beautifully furnished country house, with a pretty garden to sit in and enjoy. Our room was very well appointed, with an ensuite and everything to make us comfortable, right down to a chocolate on the pillow. There was a fire burning in the salon to welcome us as we came into the house in early evening. Some other guests came and stayed a while chatting as we sat relaxing. The staff helping were friendly and competent. I recommend the breakfast which was varied and certainly set me up for my onward journey. Deirdre gave us information about Waterford and ideas for what to do whilst there. I would really like to go back some day soon.
There was nothing I could think of to complain about. The possibility of yoga classes and other complementary therapies onsite was an added bonus.

Intricately decorated with the most perfect antique furniture and the dining room is well lit and simply perfect for so many occasions. Breakfast was excellent and selection was wonderful…our plates arrived piping hot and our little one felt like a princess being offered hot chocolate with mini marshmallows :) the rooms were beautiful and well lit. Loved arriving to a chocolate on my pillow and wished more places would do this. We fell in love with the two doggies who were wonderful hosts and extremely social…just perfect little ladies. We could not have asked for a more well placed bed and breakfast…definitely not our last visit.

The location was great. De was very accommodating and offered us a free cooked breakfast as we were at the end of our three month holiday from Australia. Breakfast was more than adequate. It was really quiet overnight, could not hear any other guests. The property was quite lovely.
The room was really cluttered with furniture. There was no body wash in the shower. Although there was a coffee machine provided in the room she had run out of pods.

Overall we had a great stay! The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Deirdre was lovely and ready to help with recommendations. There were also two sweet dogs who we loved meeting! The made to order breakfast was delicious!
For the price there were a couple of expected touches that would have made the stay better- the towels were like sandpaper and we had to ask to get hand soap since ours was almost empty when we checked in. Also, I feel like the made to order breakfast should be included instead of a supplementary price, as the continental breakfast included would not have been enough for us. We have stayed at four other hotels so far on this trip to Ireland, and they all included the made to order breakfast.

We were very late, close to 11pm and Deirdre stayed up to let us in, which was very much appreciated. The ferry was delayed and there was thick fog which slowed our driving. The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfy. The Shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast was delicious, piping hot, freshly cooked and good quality produce used. Really tasty The experience was great, we wish we could have stayed longer. All the staff should be very proud. Kitty the dog was fabulous too.
The shower floor was a bit slippy and could have done with one of those rubber mats

The owner was lovely, very hospitable and engaging! The continental Breakfast was very nice and had a variety of items. The place is quaint and has a lovely garden.
The lighting in the room was bad for anyone who’s eyesight is not great (over 60). The positioning of the room and the one window in it did not shed much light in the daytime. However when we addressed this with the host she provided an extra standing lamp (although there wasn’t an awful lot of extra space unfortunately, so didn’t really help). However, I saw other rooms that did have bigger windows and much more light. So I would suggest requesting a more well lit room when you book, if necessary.

The lady that owns the the B&B is a lovely women would help out with anything, our room was unreal and the bed was better then the one we got at home 😊, breakfast in the morning was 11/10 and the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we came back from our night out the heater in the room was on and the room was nice and warm which was lovely. Thank you very much. Would recommend this place to anyone, definitely staying there again when visiting Cobh.
Nothing everything was perfect.

It was in an amazing location with easy access to all the main attractions in Cobh which made for a lovely walk. Getting to Cork was also easy, just a 20 minute drive. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. They gave us tips on where to go eat, what kind of dishes we can order, and also were able to cater for gluten free guests as well.
I think the cooked breakfast could have been a bit nicer. Since the food was served on super hot plates that actually led to the eggs overcooking.

Robin Hill house is a beautiful home with lots of charm. Since the weather was cold outside, Dee had a magnificent fire in the family room making it cozy for our stay. The house must be insulation as we were not bothered by the sound of others walking up/down the stairs. Breakfast was made to order and cost a few more Euros, but well worth it!! Thank you Dee🍀 FOTA Wildlife preserve was close by with an abundance of animals, we spent several hours walking around, minimal sprinkles didn't bother the animal or us. The preserve is family oriented, as is most of Ireland, with playgrounds scattered around to keep the children active in between viewing the animals.

This house is a re-purposed home from the past, something that we love., decorated with items from 100+ years ago, but everything works that needs to. Good bed. Breakfast was excellent; staff universally friendly. Lovely garden in the sunshine, it was a pleasant walk to "downtown" though we opted to taxi up the hill to get home again.
One floor of stairs to get to the room. We can still do this, but it would be a disqualified for someone needing a wheel chair.
