Sergei Palace is our getaway hotel for the last few years, during our birthday celebrations. The hotel and wonderful garden are so beautiful, quite, classically decorated and welcoming.
The only problem is parking. The hotel offers 5-6 parking spots on a first come first get policy (which always worked for us), but this might be challenging for those checking in late. On the other hand, public transportation is very close by and very convenient so you may consider to park at the general parking areas of the train and arrive by train to the hotel.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday, and we must say it was an experience beyond compare. From the excellent customer service to the serene atmosphere, every aspect of our stay was nothing short of exceptional. Throughout our visit, Alex, Bashar, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to cater to every request and ensure that our celebration was truly memorable. Their dedication to ensuring our needs were met was evident in every interaction. The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance of the Old City and the vibrant Machaneh Yehudah Market, yet it manages to provide a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city. The inner courtyard is a testament to this, with its beautiful and serene setting that provided the perfect backdrop for our celebrations. The rooms were impeccably clean, cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, adding to the overall charm of the hotel. The breakfasts were a treat in themselves and Shadi and the rest of the breakfast stuff were extremely courteous and attentive to your needs. As part of our birthday celebrations, we had the pleasure of dining at the on-site restaurant. The experience was exceptional, thanks to the efforts of Anton, the restaurant manager, Yulia, and the entire restaurant staff. Their genuine efforts to make our evening memorable were evident in every detail, and their warm hospitality made us feel like honoured guests. The meals themselves were delicious and plenty. In conclusion, our time at this Sergei palace hotel was a truly remarkable experience. From the impeccable service to the stunning ambiance, every moment was filled with warmth and genuine care. We will undoubtedly return, eager to relive these wonderful memories and create new ones. Thank you to the entire staff for making our mother's birthday a celebration we will cherish forever.

Great location in the center of city. Breakfast was good but the coffee machine kept breaking down. Beautiful and quiet inner garden. Many sorts of eating places walking distance from the hotel. free parking but limited places.
Hard pillows, No proper light for makeup. no elevator. Not enough electric outlets and those present were in odd places.

My wife and I arrived at this hotel on June 9th around 12:45 AM, we were checked in and to our surprise, the hotel was rather uniquely nice and clean. The rooms were good size and very clean, the location was just about 1 mile from the old city and close to many restaurants and other attraction. The area was very safe to walk at night as well. The breakfast was great, and most of all the gentleman that ran the daily restaurant operation name Shadi Shkeir was extremely courteous, respectful and attentive to your needs. However, we experienced a very bad encounter with a gentleman name Andrey whom I was told that he was the Arrival manager. On June 11th our departure day around 8 AM, as we were walking to the restaurant for breakfast, Andrey the EVIL man approached us and told us in an angry tone of voice as if we were his employees that we need to get our car out of the parking spot now. I tried to explain to him our check out time is not until 10 AM, but his aggression escalated, and it became a shouting match. Then Shadi notice what happened, he immediately intervened and said something to him in Hebrew which got this EVIL man to walk away. Incidentally, this same individual (Andrey the EVIL man) was involved in a very heated argument with 2 other gentlemen the day before in their main garden. Andrey is an angry disrespectful horrible and out of control man, that does not belong in any type of customer relation business, let alone a as a manager, he needs to be managed swiftly. On the other hand, Shadi's interference and taking charge of the situation as he witnessed what took place, demonstrated his com and collective personality, took charge of the matter, escorted us into the restaurant for our morning coffee. Then shortly thereafter, Shadi's manager Anton came to our table to extend his apology for what took place with that EVIL man and promised to report it to higher up management.
Not met this EVIL man Andrey which made our morning to turn from a good morning to a bad one. We travel to Israel annually and would love to stay at this location if this EVIL man in no longer there.

Sergei Palace was a good choice considering that it was a weekend last minute decision and Jerusalem hotels were full. Would I consider this place again? Certainly! The only thing that was difficult was to seat outside for dinner in patio sofa chairs with lots of cats around begging for food. The owner of the restaוnt was very nice and pleasing considerate and taking into account allergies and food restrictions. Food was very good.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my 40th birthday at the exquisite Sergii Palace, and I must say, it was an experience beyond my wildest expectations. From the luxurious rooms to the world-class Russian style chef restaurant and impeccable service, every aspect of my stay was nothing short of exceptional. The moment I stepped into the palace, I was greeted by a warm and professional staff that made me feel like royalty. The luxury 3-room suite at Sergii Palace where I stayed was spacious, tastefully decorated, and atmosphere of Russian royal elegance and comfort is preserved. The attention to detail was evident, from the plush bedding to the exquisite furnishings, creating an ambiance of opulence that instantly made me feel pampered. The chef restaurant at Sergii Palace deserves a special mention. I had the pleasure of indulging in a culinary journey that surpassed my every expectation. The menu was a masterpiece, featuring a delightful fusion of flavors and textures of the Russian cuisine that pleased even the most discerning palate. The attentive and knowledgeable staff provided impeccable service, catering to my every need and ensuring a truly memorable evening. Speaking of service, the staff at Sergii Palace went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration unforgettable. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, their commitment to excellence was evident in every interaction. Special thanks to Anton, the restaurant manager, and Andrey, the establishment CEO & general manager. Their warm hospitality and genuine care made me feel like an honored guest throughout my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Sergii Palace to anyone seeking an indulgent and memorable experience, whether it's for a special celebration or simply to bask in the lap of Russian luxury and history. I eagerly look forward to my next visit and the opportunity to create more cherished memories at this remarkable establishment.

The building and it’s big inside garden are stunning and very beautiful. Ceilings are high and style is like being shot back to 1900. Our bathroom was very modern and state of the art. Here one still gets a real key. Breakfast was nice and to enjoy it in the garden was unique. The position of this hotel in the heart of the city is perfect for any activity in Jerusalem. Just around the corner there are many shops and restaurants. Carparking-spaces are very limited, but there are some.

The hotel building is beautiful! You feel lijke you are in a prehistoric castle. The hotel is super quiet even though it is in the middle of Jerusalem. Beautiful gardens. The location is excellent.
You needed to turn on the water boiler button in the room (10 minutes) in advance of taking a shower. The extras pillo in the cupboard had no pillow case on it.

I thought the hotel was very clean. Housekeeping made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely nice. Location was also great! They also have a beautiful museum!
I wouldn’t say I didn’t like something about the property. The only thing we had some trouble was the language barrier between the cooks but they were very accommodating and made sure we had warm cooked VEGAN options for breakfast which we absolutely appreciated ! Thank you !

Location is excellent. Easy access to the main bus lines (2-3 mins walk to the bus station) and the light rail (2-3 mins walk). Old city is also within walking distance. And so is downtown Jerusalem. Jaffa Street, which is the main shopping district, is a two minutes walk. Usually, when you have hotels are that are so close to the main street, they are also often loud and noisy. But this was NOT the case with Sergei Palace, which is located just 2-3 minutes away from the main street, so it's quiet and peaceful. We had a street-facing room, and didn't hear any noise. The rooms (with high ceilings and thick walls) and bathrooms are of a decent size. We stayed here for 14 days and didn't feel cramped at all. Lovely garden Historic property
The breakfast was uninspiring.
