A lot of noise comming from the street

The perfect location near Rothschild Boulevard, florentine and the beach. The room exceeded my expectations, the amenities were great and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was incredible and the hotel had good bus links. The hotel's front door looked like an apartment complex, adding to the local feel I look for whilst travelling. Having a 24-hour receptionist made me feel safe and accommodated for my need to check in during the early hours. This hotel was very good value for money and I will be returning on my next trip to Tel Aviv.

I absolutely love this hotel and almost always frequent it when I’m in Tel Aviv. It’s the most charming boutique hotel right in the center of everything, but you’d barely even notice it… Every time I walk into Theodor Brown, things slow down a notch and I almost feel like I’m in a different era. The staff is super nice and helpful with exceptional customer service and an old fashioned friendly and hospitable welcome every time!!! I can’t recommend this place higher - it’s charming and updated, centrally located, rooms are comfortable, quiet, and contain basically everything that you’d need. And the cherry on top - a complimentary delicious glass of Cava! 💘

Had no problems whatsoever

I really loved my stay at Theodor Brown Hotel. Especially as a woman traveling alone, the hotel was like a safe haven to me. The staff of the hotel do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. At all times the staff was super helpful and always ready to answer questions when I had any. I would like to mention Arthur, the kitchen chef and Olga at the reception in particular. The breakfast buffet was so healthy with much variety and Arthur puts love in every detail. He also makes the best Omelettes and is the heart of the hotel for me. Olga was always super helpful and joyful and it was a great pleasure to interact with her.

I come to TLV nearly every year all by my lonesome and have stayed at a number of upscale hotels on my past trips. This was my first time at Theodor Brown and the employees were genuinely the friendliest and nicest people I've ever dealt with in all of my Israel trips. This made my week all the more wonderful and I'd stay here again. The staff were very caring without being pushy and they made me feel at home by greeting me every morning by my name - most people can't be bothered these days with such simple courtesies! Mattress was comfy and that's saying a lot because I have a really bad back. The breakfast buffet was perfect for my light appetite and everything was fresh each morning. I really liked it here and felt very comfortable as a female solo traveller.

The bathroom needs a standard makeup mirror like other hotels have. I gave up on my makeup on day one because it was just too dark in the bath to see what I was doing and there was no close-up mirror. There was a minor plumbing issue with the neighbouring room's "deposits" arriving in my toilet bowl every morning but, hey, even the Hilton, Dan Pan & co. sometimes have similar issues. Do a long flush and get on with your day 💩 If the bathroom had had better lighting and a makeup mirror, I would have given this hotel a full ten stars.

Lovely lobby, lovely room, and a nice garden/yard at the back. right in the middle of everything happening in Tel Aviv. Fridge in room was useful. lots of places to get food around the hotel, and the hotel's own breakfast (that was not included for my rate) was very huge and very good.

My room was facing the main street and some nights it was noisy. personally I sleep like a rock so I was not bothered but some people would find that too noisy.

The hotel is in a perfect location for a visit to Tel Aviv. In walking distance to the Carmel Market, the craft market, lots of restaurants, etc. The staff was suburb and everyone really tried to be helpful. A special shout ot to Talia Amara at the front desk who helped us work through a couple of issues. The breakfast was lovely and offered for long hours.

We loved having a balcony, but between being on the city side of the building and the privacy dividers there was no breeze. We sat out at night, but it was too warm during the day. The only other thing we did not care for was the black color of the bathroom. It showed a great deal of dirt and never fully looked clean.

The hotel is located in a very good place next to Rothschild boulevard in the centre. You enter the lively tel-avivian crowd next second after you exit the building. The room looks nice and everything is in good condition

The only major problem is the lack of soundproof and behavior of the cleaning team. They start speaking loudly to each other at 7AM in the corridor. I was awake too early every morning. When the room is made up they don’t add water and coffee capsules as you could expect. Barista in the Cena restaurant next door where you get your breakfast is unusually unfriendly

Staff and receptionists are so nice and helpful, especially Olga. It was great to get a complimentary cocktail for shabbat! The room (basic one) is pretty enough for one traveler. Pillows, bed linen and the bed are comfy what is very important to me. Location is fantastic if you like staying in Neve Tzedek, going out and have everything at “arm's length”. BTW if you prefer go to bed early, the room is completely soundproofed and you don't hear anything from outside, however, my windows were facing the courtyard. I will definitely stay here next time and recommend this place to my friends.

The hotel is in a great location, close to many tourist and business sites, with terrific restaurants and a buzzy night life. Its staff was very helpful. N. was on call to get me a taxi before the crack of dawn and was very responsive to my questions and concerns. Alas, while the upgraded room I got had a great bed, the bathroom had a strange smell with some aging fixtures in need of replacement. If I was staying more than 2 nights, I'd have chosen a different Brown option.
