The receptionist was so welcoming, and lovely, the bar tendent was amazing friendly , night think cleaner ! So friendly and nice. Had an amazing night , room was clean and so cosy really enjoyed our night perfect

House keeping i felt was a bit rude , 1 gentle man didn't even look n smile , so rude! Opened a door as we walked trough hold his head up n down i said thank you he mummled welcome 😌up to celling as it to say hurry up! And breakfast no cups for coffee, no glasses for juice , got our food which looked lovely, but by time sat down with it , it was cold waiting for drinks, basket brown hp sauce all empty, salt pot on our table empty , and a group of young people working here no smile , or enthusiasm looked like a bunch of zombies on a Sunday morning 😂 I just think it doesn't hurt staff to make u feel welcome! The morning I just felt like been with a group of grumpy staff that didn't want to be there on a Sunday morning, made me feel uncomfortable

First of all, there was loads of parking, the appearance of the hotel itself was kept well & tidy. The entrance/lobby was well presented & we were greeted by two lovely women on reception, asking us about or stay & being overall very friendly! The room was spacious! Very spacious, super tidy & cozy! Plenty of drinks, kettle, hair dryer. The bathroom was huge & the beds were so comfy! Breakfast was the best part of the entire stay; it was delicious!!!

We honestly couldn't fault the place at all!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable,the corridors are wide and clean.A very nice lobby reception entrance,a good bar and restaurant area.The main toilets near the bar were very clean and had a nice fragrant smell,the staff were very helpful and polite.We stayed one night on way to Manchester airport,on our return we decided to stay an unscheduled night again.The food in restaurant was very good,this was for third or fourth stay at this hotel we can not fault it yet.

Really easy location to find, close to multiple methods of transport and just off the M1 but far enough from it to be quiet. Good facilities, very aesthetic and extremely clean. Sheena behind reception was amazing, really polite, extremely helpful and brought a laugh and smile to the faces of my wife and I instantly.!

The only downside was the night staff. We came back to the hotel around 10pm and after simply asking if room service was available, the lady behind reception was extremely abrupt, cold and to be frank quite rude. Everything else was brilliant, especially for the price

Just about everything frankly! Great size room. The desk was bloomin perfect for my IT work. Quiet location. Amazing fish and chips bang next door from Shaws award winning chippy! Desk staff are great. Thanks Ross and Timi! Beautiful foyet, classy all round.

The TV in the room is a museum piece and the size of a postage stamp. No streaming capability, with ancient sockets that nothing plugs into anymore. Had use a laptop to watch anything on my terms. Ceiling lights are harsh, still with old CFLs that blink when you turn them on from cold.

Think whole place could be doing with a good deep clean and freshly decorated in lighter warmer colours as overall looked very dark and dull...Great open space and bar areas really could be doing with brightening up... Room could be doing with same and a higher standard of cleaning especially attention to details like when lying in bat noticed limescale at tap opening...and same round shower doors they need renewed...toilets in main area could be doing with walls giving a proper clean.. I also didn't like witnessing the lady on breakfast shift continuously harassing the young lad who was working well and dressing him down in public and reporting him to senior member of staff who also dressed him down in private without even asking his side of story..Very Unprofessional...

The room was big enough and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast was decent, although not a lot of variety. There's a convenience shop quite close (6-7 minutes of walking).

The showerhead nozzles (room 212) had limescale deposits and looked dirty. The WiFi coverage was decent, but the speed was sometimes quite low (probably when more devices were connected). There's not much of a view.

Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty basic, cereals,toast,pastries,full English,kippers,omelette or porridge. But was okay for a couple of nights stay. Wi-Fi was very good which was free, the location is great for the motorway. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and helpful! You can feel a good sense of team work in the hotel.

Evening meal was poor value for money, the soup was not as described and was stated ‘served with warm bread’ (it was cold and dry!) the soup was Luke warm. The main risotto was good though but not sure if worth£18. The hotel is dated and does need updating, the bed probably a bit too soft but maybe that’s just my preference.

Unfortunately didn't sample the breakfast. Went for a wedding and the service was outstanding. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped, though the TV could be a little bit bigger as the bed is quite far away from the TV. Bed is outstandingly comfortable with big fluffy pillows and a nice comfortable quilt. Mattress is also soft.

There was nothing not to like. It was cheap, efficient and staff were always on hand if needed

`Comfortable room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice in the buffet.Very good location and ideal for where we wanted to go. All staff very pleasant and nothing too much trouble.Would stay here again.

Hole in the curtain which is not what you expect from a four star hotel and sink in bathroom drained very very slow.Did report to receptionist at the the time of leaving.
