This is a beautiful B&B, tucked away up the valley from the central area. We decided to stay in Amalfi, a small quieter village that we could return to every evening after the busyness of the other coastal towns. This was perfect for us! Our room was immaculate, spacious with a wonderful little balcony overlooking the valley and a slice of the Mediterranean. It was very quiet even with some nearby construction going on. Our bed was comfortable and we had adequate storage. The bath was also comfortable and we had plenty of hot water in the shower. Prearrival communication was excellent. When we arrived in Amalfi and contacted our host, she sent down a gentlemen, Gino, to help us with our bags as we ascended the stairs. There is a stretch of stairs but we didn't find it a problem. Instead, we were grateful for the peek into the Sicilian neighborhood and the beauty of the surrounding canyon. Gino provided us with a helpful orientation to the room and meal schedule. Breakfast was served in a small delightful space just off of our room. We were given breakfast options, all of which were tasty and abundant and served per the schedule we requested. When it was time to leave, Gino was there again to help with our bags.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was the loveliest people. It was approximately 10-15 minutes from the city centre, but we were aware of that when we booked the B&B, and it also gave a lovely view from the balcony and from the breakfast area. We really enjoyed the breakfast here. When we arrived we got help to carry one of the luggage and we got a bottle of water and a small cup of lemon sorbet which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend staying here. From the hotel I recommend to go to Valle Delle Ferriere and to eat lunch at Agricola Fore Porta.

We loved our stay here! Views from the room and terrace were exceptional from the sea to the cliffs and the lemon groves. We were greeted on arrival and our bags were carried up to the property for us. Our room was large and very well finished with a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The balcony was the star of the show offering panoramic views of the valley and we were even given complementary homemade lemonade on arrival to enjoy on our balcony! Breakfast every morning was exceptional, with good choice, homemade bakes and great service. The family really do put extra effort in to make your stay as comfortable as possible from offering the choice of breakfast in the room or on the terrace and being available to provide suggestions. We hope to return to the Amalfi coast and stay in this beautiful apartment again!

The staff was super super friendly, we were in contact with Maria and Gino. Maria was easy to reach via WhatsApp before arrival, Gino did everything for us on the spot - from carrying the suitcases up and down (and omg so many stairs) to changing our beds to two separate beds instead of one double bed. And of course not to forget THE AMAZING VIEW from our balcony.

The stairs were quite a challenge for us, but we knew this from before arrival :) it is mentioned in the description of the accommodation. We are both not frequently working out, but walk a lot - still we were breathing heavily walking back up hahaha. But to us it was definitely worth it and do-able with breaks in between.

La Valle Delle Ferriere is amazing. Gino is an extremely attentive host. We received a tart lemon ice cream upon arrival. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Our teenagers loved the LED shower lights. But the best part was the amazing breakfast on the terrace. Fantastic.

There are lots of steps. We didn’t mind at all. Gino helped with our bags which was nice. If you have limited mobility or have lots of heavy luggage this may be a deterrent.

The buildiing is recently renovated (or perhaps built?) to a high standard of comfort. The interior is decorated with taste and local touches. The view from the balcony was magnificent - exactly as beautiful as in the photos. We specially liked seeing both the sea and the mountains from the room. The breakfast (we ordered the salty version) was of excellent quality and generous - eggs, cold meats, breads, tomatoes and a little cheese, good capuccino. It was perfect for a long day of hiking and it allowed us to skip a full lunch. The owner and the staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend visiting Amalfi in the off-season. It is a pleasure to see the sights without the crush of the summer tourist season and Amalfi reverts to being a normal town.

The property may not be suitable for persons who have trouble with the effort of climbing stairs. Each trip up is equivalent to walking up a 6 story building, but if you are fit, it is worth the effort!

It is a quiet, clean and peacefull place. It feels like beiing in a far out village ! The breakfast is nice and it is served on the terrace with stunning views of the cliffs of Amalfi The property is not in the center of Amalfi. It takes approximetly 10min nice walk further to the valley to reach the base of it, where Gino waits for you to help you with the luggage. Then there are about 200 stairs, like 10 flights (!!!), before you reach the property and also inside it as well ... stairs ... lots lots of stairs and some of them steep as well .. it's actually a hike !!

The communication can be difficult, except if you speak to Gino, but he is not there during the entire day. There is no place to store your luggage at check out. They recomend a luggage storage place in Amalfi. We had a nice chat with Gino and we realized, that most guests stay at the b&b for only 1 or 2 nights !! So I URGE you to store the big or huge luggage in advance and carry a smaller  bag with you. It is on the way to the property and it is not expensive. If you won't do it for youself, do it for Gino and save him from back pain and injuries further on in his life. Gino can not suggest it, but I can !!

The staff and especially Gino, were exceptional, couldn't do enough for you. Great breakfast, stunning views, room was spacious, with a big bedroom, good sized bathroom with good sized shower, a lounge and a mezzanine area and another sofa. The whole place was really clean and stylish. The hotel is positioned in a welcome quiet area of Amalfi, away from the madding crowds. Great to see the heart of Amalfi and the throng but nice to retire to a scenic and quiet area at night.

We managed ok because we're quite fit 60 year olds, but just bear in mind there are some steep steps to the hotel, but Gino carries your cases/bags up and down for you when you arrive and leave.

Loved this location and family who run it! It in back of Amalfi and up stairs. As soon as you get towards the area, it is very quiet. You do not hear all the tourists and hustle-bustle! They helped bring our suitcases up for us as well! In the morning, we heard only roosters! Fantastic full breakfast on outside terrace. The walk to the La Valle Delle Ferriere is long but enjoyable! We made the walk both days. We are in our 50s as well. I would come back!

I thought the apartment room was 2 bedrooms. It is one primary bedroom and the other little bed and pull out couch are in the main room where you walk in.. still ,worked fine for us- but was not clear in description. Anyone who cannot make stairs should avoid it.

The hotel is run by a wonderful family who couldn’t have been any more welcoming. We were invited to meet the whole family when we arrived and Luigi was the perfect host. The room was spacious and clean with an excellent shower. The view from the balcony and the private terrace for breakfast were breathtaking, truly beautiful. They were also incredibly responsive with any requests. They have a family restaurant Di Maria which was the best meal and service of our trip! We loved our stay.

The only consideration is that there are 180 stairs to climb but with that you get the view. Luigi took our suitcases up and down all the stairs so we didn’t have to worry about this. If you have mobility issues this might be something to consider but totally manageable for most people.
