Very nice B&B, we had a room with an amazing view. Room was very clean (daily cleaning). Very comfortable bed. Ms Angela was the best host, she was very welcoming and helpful with all our requests. Pontone is a small town, which is very beautiful and peaceful (unlike Amalfi which is very crowded). Walking distance (30 min or so) to Ravello and Amalfi (up to Ravello, down to Amalfi) but there are stairs. There is a bus station close to the accommodation, it has a schedule but there may be delays in full season. There is a very beatiful hike which you can start from Pontone, called Valle delle Ferriere, which brings you to Amalfi town, in the end. Breakfast is served at a bar which is very close (Blu bar) and you can choose sweet / salty variants. We ate at San Giovanni restaurant which makes delicious pizza. A wonderful experience!

Everything was perfect!

Property was absolutely amazing, everything seemed new and fresh, rooms were extremely clean, they also clean them everyday. Bed was very comfortable, air condition worked well, bathroom was very cosy. In general the property surprised me with how new and quality everything was. The host were perfect. Even before we arrived, they provided us with information regarding best ways to getting to the property from Salerno, they informed us about closed roads, changes of bus schedule etc. When we arrived, they greeted us very well, and till the end of our stay they provided 24/7 what’s app contact, where they answered any question we had regarding our stay/anything we needed. When we asked they even provided additional plates knives and forks to the room, free of charge. Getting from Amalfi to Pontone and back(where the property is located) is very easy, the bus cruises from 8am to 22pm and stops 200 meters from the property. In general, I was absolutely stunned by that property. It felt like home, there was separate entry for guests, and the entire house was absolutely beautiful, Italian style. Our room also had the big balcony, which even had awning, and shutters, everything was new and well constructed.

The one and ONLY thing I disliked - and that is not something bad, just my personal preference - is the breakfast. As a European used to travelling many countries, when the breakfast is included, I expect it to be “Swedish buffet” style, with a unlimited selection of bread, meat, cheese, veggies, fruits, coffee, eggs, juice etc etc… However, in Dint a Torre the breakfast is served in a bar nearby - and every single day it was a croissant, rusks, jam and coffee or juice. I know this is Italian style breakfast, but for me personally - it is just not acceptable. I would rather pay more and have real, European hotel style breakfast. However, as I said this is my personal preference, and I will still rate Dint a Torre 10/10.

Lovely, quiet place to stay. The beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were a good size and clean. I loved the fact there was a balcony. I was pleased that we were staying up at Scala rather than with the masses of tourists at Amalfi.

The only negative fact was that the bus stopped working at 6pm on Sunday. So either you do a steep walk up the hill around 45 minutes from Amalfi or pay €70 for a cab.

Amazing place. Perfect location situated in the adorable and quiet community of Pontone which is right above Amalfi and Atrani and on the next hill across from Ravello. There is a bus directly from Amalfi to Pontone and then it is steps to the hotel. You can walk down the stairs to Amalfi in around 20 minutes. From Amalfi, you can catch busses or ferries all across the coast and we were able to explore with no car. Hosts were incredibly nice, helped us find the bus route, checked us in, and brought us fresh lemonade and snacks. Every morning, they serve you breakfast on their patio looking over the valley down to Amalfi and the water. They serve coffee drinks, pastries, and homemade jam. Absolutely wonderful! The room itself was perfect, AC, an incredible balcony with a view, comfy bed. Could not ask for anything better. Easily one of the best values on the Amalfi coast, stay here and explore!

amazing hosts, Maria and her mother were super friendly and welcoming. Maria helped me to plan my trip to other islands. She was super helpful:)View from my room was amazing, i literally fell in love. Room was very clean and had everything I needed.Breakfast was amazing home made baked goods and jams were so delicious

location is a bit far from the Center make sure you rent a car if you don’t wanna do all that walking. I walked down couple times and my legs were shaky all day :) there are buses but waiting time is long and it’s like every hour. if you don’t want to wait you have no choice but walk

Pontone is a beautiful little village tucked away from the craziness of Amalfi Town, but very accessible to everywhere by foot or by bus. Our hosts were very helpful giving us information about how to get around, asking what we were doing that day and making sure we had what we needed. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful, with homemade jams and marmalades!

Good location, the bus stop is 4min away, the room view towards the mountains is amazing, The owners are very helpful and friendly 😊 The breakfast is ok, and the room is quiet and super clean.

The bed mattress is not too comfortable, but it's not a big issue.

excellent property and facilities. Maria is a warm and welcoming host.

just a word of warning: and this is no reflection on the property, but the stairs walking from Amalfi is really hard with bags. I’m a fit 29 year old and it was a struggle in the head. do yourself a favour and take the bus or taxi

The host is very nice and willing to help provide information and tips on how to get around. The location has a beautiful view and the house is wonderful.

Everything was great. I only wish that I knew there was a strenuous uphill walk made of mostly stairs to get to the house. Going downhill was much easier of course but not being prepared for the walk beforehand was really hard. I recommend taking the bus if you can or taking a taxi but it will be expensive.
