Great hotel recommended. We stayed while mountianing bike in pila. Host had food communications when booking and also deposit only required to secure. Twin rooms had two double beds, mini bar, ensure toilet, tea/coffee, mini bar, fan, tiwels, robes, slippers, TV and balcony with views over the valley. Short uphill from town, but fine and no issues. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and outside heated infinity spa pool were awesome and added to the trip to debrief stories and relax. Breakfast had lots of European buffet options. Bar was reasonable and plenty of options with plenty of lunge space with shared tv. Fish restaurant 10mins stroll or 20mins to town. Staff were relaxed and hospitable. Room were turned down daily. Lift to rooms. Lots of parking and below ground garage with secure bike room with electrical bike charging and two hoses for bike washing. Great choice for any reason when staying in aosta and as mountain bikers highly recommended also.

Absolutely amazing views from almost any/ every angle and any time of day. Brilliant breakfast with indoor/ outdoor seating options. Spa facilities good, and the hotel never felt crowded. Inside very clean (and main grounds well kept). Whole vibe of the place was very chilled and friendly.

Swimming pool was freezing (and most days we were there the outside day temp was around 30 degrees c). No parasols around the pool as high wind region (but easy to get burnt fast). Service in all areas was friendly but rather slow. Walk into Aosta very steep (about 15-20 mins) to Augustus Arch and severely limited options locally (just one restaurant up the hill). It would be good for hotel to be clearer about available snack and soft drink options/ prices. Pool/ outdoor jacuzzi could be a bit cleaner.

We arrived very late and most guests were checked in. Whilst our room was as booked it was extremely hot and quite noisy, after a very long drive and having booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, this was a little disappointing. The hotel receptionist did her utmost to help us find an alternative room, despite few being available. She went above and beyond and was able to get approval to give us a fantastic room which was cool, quiet and spacious. She also was able to suggest somewhere for dinner as many places were closed. This hotel is always a pleasure to stay at, breakfast is a huge treat with an astonishing spread.

Fabulous location, amazing views and facilities , beautiful pool area and very friendly welcoming staff. Ample onsite free parking . possible to walk down to the centre of Aosta but we drove down . No restaurant onsite but a very good one with a 5 minute walk up the hill . Complimentary cakes in the afternoon and the breakfast was one of the biggest choices I’ve ever seen.

Hotel is very rustic which is fine but has no air conditioning and the fan supplied in the room was almost useless. My main negative though is the bathroom , we booked a deluxe room with balcony and I must say the bathroom for this class of hotel and price paid was very poor . I do not consider a shower tray with a curtain round it acceptable in this day and age ,plus there was a lot of black mould on the tiles of the shower and the bottom of the curtain was stained , it was very small with nowhere to put anything and poor lighting .

What a find! Hot enough in September to sit out by the swimming pool and read in the afternoon. Bedroom with a little balcony overlooking the garden and mountains. Reception area is beautiful, with room to sit and relax, on a terrace or inside. Super bar area, with free cake treat in the afternoons. We were only there 1 day, not enough time to fully explore the whole hotel or to enjoy the bar. We will the next time! Breakfast was incredibly good; so much choice, real coffee (thank you!) and fabulous sweet treats.

The spa was the highlight of this property, incredibly beautiful and clean. The breakfast was also incredible, the display and options were so extensive and delicious, the dining hall was cozy and beautiful. One thing that I really appreciated was the homemade cake at the bar that was offered by the hotel throughout the day and the complimentary coffee at 4pm. Such a delight to sit by the fire and have coffee and sweets with the stunning view from the property.

The bed, I like a firm bed but this was one of the firmest beds I have slept on and didn't fit the cozy feel of the room and the hotel in general - there needs to be a topper or something because I woke up with a stiff back and sore muscles after sleeping. The pillows were also not great, very thin and not feather, it was a shame.

Our room was large with a beautiful four poster bed, a separate sitting area and a balcony with lovely views of Aosta and the surrounding mountains. The breakfast selection was very large and included local cheeses and well as big selection of sweets. The hotel is set in a quiet area and we appreciate not staying in the more busy city centre.

It would have been nice to have a restaurant in the hotel, but we knew at the time of booking that there was no restaurant and it was not really a problem.

Although not cheap it is well worth the money. It is a beautiful hotel furnished with rustic charm and in the most beautiful location above the old town. It has a lovely garden with a large outdoor swimming pool. There is underground parking especially good for motorbikes in the heat. We had a bedroom with a four-poster bed, all beautifully decorated. There were home made cakes available at the bar . The breakfast buffet was a feast to behold.

It would have been good to have air conditioning but there was a fan

The breakfast was very good with many local cheeses, home made sweets and many other thinks to choose between. The pool area was very nice and it was great to swim and play in the pool. The view from the hotel was fantastic.

The room didn't have air conditioning so it was a bit hot in the room at night.

Beautiful hotel with so much character. Friendly staff. The most extensive, high quality breakfast offerings we’ve come across in our travels. Very peaceful location but just a short drive or walk to downtown Aosta.

The only thing that could be improved upon would be to have a restaurant on site for dinner.
