Great place to spend a couple of nights. The owner is a very nice woman. She may not speak English perfectly, but you won’t need it, she explained everything in detail, showed. The most remarkable thing that captivates is the homely atmosphere. For tomorrow you will have cookies, and different types of tea and coffee, there is also an electronic kettle in the room. So there will be no problems with hot drinks, which is also convenient. Although I spent only one night and had to leave the room early in the morning, I want to thank the hostess for the warm welcome.

The accommodation is practical, as the location was good, the room was really spacious, with a couch, dining table and chairs, and even had a microwave, kettle and fridge. There's a also little balcony with a small table and a couple of chairs. The shared bathroom was available nearly the whole time, so that wasn't a problem and although Grazia, the owner, doens't speak English, she was helpful, providing some local maps and info.

The furniture and decoration are quite dated, so if that's a big deal for you, maybe not the best option. However, if you're not so bothered about that and you're looking for a clean and practical place and you're on a budget, I'd definitely recommend it.

The room was very cosily decorated in warm colors, had a carpet in front of the bed and nice paintings on the wall. The wooden floor was also very beautiful and made me feel I truly was in an authentic building instead of a standard hotel.The hallway in front of the room was also gorgeous with superb furniture and decorations, now I regret I didn't photographed it 😋 The room also had a mini fridge, water heater, small oven, plates, cup and cutlery. As a welcoming gesture the super nice owner provided buscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and bottled water. All this even though I spent only one night there. I highly recommend this lodging.

The room doesn't have its own bathroom, but it was my lack of attention I missed this detail. However the bathroom is just a few meters away from the room and it also comes with quite a few toiletries curtesy of the owner.

Excellent value for money accommodation in a very good location to explore the lovely Bergamo and access links to other places via the nearby railway and bus stations. Maria was very friendly and welcoming and her premises is spotlessly clean and very comfortable; the shared bathroom has a decent shower and my room was comfortable with a few nice touches such as a small fridge with a selection of canned and bottled drinks available (extra charge). The wi-fi was reliable and fast, the bed was comfy, there's plenty of wardrobe and other storage space and it's very handy to have a power distribution bar on the table by the kettle to easily plug phones etc in for charging. The property is also easy to find being clearly marked at street level with the number and the buzzer relating to the B&B clearly labelled. Highly recommended and many thanks to Maria for a very comfortable stay.

My only tiny criticism is a small bedside table with a lamp on it would have been good - there was a lamp but this was on the surface at the foot of the bed so shone sort of 'at you' while titling it meant less light. A minor criticism it has to be said!

I stayed for two nights at Dany Sweethouse. It is a a multi-room apartment located less than 15 minutes walk from Bergamo train station. The place is very clean and the manager is super helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent and a walking distance to Via XX Settembre and Viale Roma. The citta' alta stairs and funicular are about 20 minutes walk from the apartment. Overall, I had a very nice and comfortable stay. The manager is very organized and is always available for help.

Good location and clean. Host was attentive and helpful. WiFi was good, apartment was super clean. Would stay here again regardless of the things that I think could be improved.

These are not things I didn't like but just things that could perhaps be improved. Room was so hot even with a fan but that is not at fault of the host, no one can change the weather. A microwave would have been better than the mini oven so you have more options to cook. Found it awkward that I had to go to the bathroom to clean out my cup or cutlery.

The location of the Dany Sweethouse was in very close distance to Bergamo Railway Station (about 12 min). Additionally, it was very close to the pace with bard and restaurant so would could take this opportunity at evening and enjoy evening's Bergamo life. Room was very cosy, we had a balcony for our disposal. Additional in room was small fridge and kettle, so each morning we could drink hot coffee. The bathroom was shared but for as it was not a problem. And landlady was very pleasant woman. She do not speak English so much, only basic words but it was not a barrier for us to communicate.

Great location in Citta Bassa, easily accessible to Citta Alta, trains and buses and the airport. A charming family home, with an accommodating and hospitable on-site host. Comfortable room with coffee, tea, cookies and a fridge, neat and clean. A clean, well-supplied shared bathroom. A happy family home, just the kind of place that an old-time backpacker like me looks forward to enjoying.

I had no disappointments.

The property was easy to find, about 10-15 minute walk from the railway & bus station The room was larger than I expected with a small balcony overlooking a suburban street and whilst you could hear traffic the road noise was not excessive and didn't spoil my stay. Everywhere was clean and well kept there was a kettle and tea/coffee and biscuits within the room along with mini fridge containing cooled drink and an honesty box. Dani was a good host - check in /out simple enough and Dani replied to messages on whattsapp which was great

Oh tricky one........... The nameplate on the Doorbell could have been bigger - it was a good job I had my glasses, the letters are tiny! I only stayed for one night but it was ideal for me

Maria Grazia was very welcoming and helpful. She lives there, which was very reassuring. The bed was really comfortable. The room even had a little fridge and mini grill, plus a kettle. The shared bathroom was always available - not too many people for one set of facilities.

Unfortunately it was a little noisy at night (noise from traffic and people outside even with window firmly closed). But apart from that, everything was great.
