Beautiful hotel and SPA, extremely well maintained and in a charming location. Breakfast is exceptional, varied and very attentive to dietary restrictions. A complementary aperitivo is served everyday, with wine, olives focaccia and other really delicious foods. Really good massage too. Overall a lovely and relaxing weekend away with my mom!

Unfortunately, yet understandably, the spa is open to daily visitors which make it very busy and a little less relaxing and peaceful for hotel guests, especially as there is a constant flux at all hours of day. It would be a good idea to find a way to prioritise the hotel guests, perhaps with a reserved area. Would really really really not recommend to eat dinner at the hotel, should have read previous reviews before we did!

Very peaceful, nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly, especially in the Reception.

The only negative thing i could say is the entrance and the parking area. There are just 4-5 parking spaces for the hotel visitors and some spaces were taken by motorcycles. On the driveway there were a lot of cars parking at the side and the road is very narrow that you have to be careful and you have to drive forward and backwards so that you could pass through the cars.

The facilities are amazing. Very good experience with all the thermal water activities, sauna relaxation rooms and facial room. There is quite a lot to do and enjoy. The view is very good and it really feels like a luxury of experience.

The only downside for me was the food. The aperitivo and dinner left much to be desired. Dinner. Was done very fast which indicated the meal was just heated up. The texture of the pork indicated it was overdone and it lacked taste. The rissotto tasted purely of rice.

The thermal area is outstanding.

The property is old. Prices are equivalent to a five star hotel but the services are not because it is indeed a four star one. One example: there is a coffee machine in the room, which is a plus but not free of charge water, not even for the coffee. Only spa hotel/chain in the world without offering this service. The treatments - I took a massage - are decent, not outstanding.

Spa that cannot be beat. Ever flowing hot spring pools/tubs, with wonderful saunas and relaxation rooms. This is our second stay, first time was at Bagni Nouvi and I didn’t think Bagni Vecchi could beat it. I have to admit the historical roman baths and buildings of Bagni Vecchi won me over. But both locations are hard to beat! Massages are expensive but well worth it!

Breakfast was plentiful, dinner options were adequate.

Amazing location, wonderful views, lovely friendly staff, spa facilities unsurpassed, the outdoor infinity pool was perfect, I had a fantastic massage and facial, treated myself as it was my birthday, one of the best I’ve ever had, staff left a card and a gift of essential oils in our room for my birthday, a lovely personal touch.

Surprisingly enough, dinner was a terrible disappointment! We expected better after having sparkling wine and buffet in the afternoon with the best focaccia I’ve ever had! so much so we cancelled dinner on our second night!

Room service was not available after midnight, as we arrived very late, it was difficult to find anything to eat around or at the minibar. No water even in the rooms. There were many annoying flies during the evening and it was too hot to keep windows closed.

The views from the property were amazing, the spa and the infinity pool were far better than any I’ve ever experienced.

It was entirely focused on the spa rather than hotel guests, we had dinner in the hotel one night, the food was okay but the menu was quite limited and the menu didn’t change. There is no nice bar area to sit and enjoy a drink because it was all taken up with tables for spa guests.

The location was amazing. The quality of the service was definitely very high. The spa was great. Really a lovely place to take a break from the daily routine and get some relax.

Just a little thing: the bed was not very comfortable, but the room we got was amazing.

The hot springs were wonderful, the views amazing, the rooms clean. The breakfast and apertivo were good.

The dinner was flavorless and underwhelming. Hot springs were very crowded during the day with day users. Only the last 30 minutes were for hotel guests. It would be nice if they had the final hour of the evening hotel guests only.
