Lovely quirky little hotel, right in the middle of Brescia and literally yards from the main squares and all the tourist areas. 15 minutes walking from the railway station. Staff were very welcoming. I would happily recommend this place for a stopover in Brescia.

For us, because of the old and quirky nature of the property, the bathroom for our room was slightly tricky to use, having several steps up and down inside. Other rooms may not have similar concerns. For younger people, this wouldn't be any issue. It didn't prevent us enjoying our stay.

Everything was extraordinary, the location very well located, close to the tourist attractions, The breakfast very good, the coffee is sublime, The staff very kind and helpful. The car can be parked in the castle parking lot but you are still allowed to leave your luggage at the reception for a short period of time.

I can't say it's something I didn't like, but still the bathroom is extremely small, small, small... It's understandable considering the age of the building 😊

Staff were super friendly and helpful. I had many requests during our stay and they were so kind (for example, we were going to a wedding and they bought an iron and ironing board to our room). Breakfast was tasty and they accommodate for gluten free breakfasts. Location could not be more central and a stone's throw away from all major attractions and sights. Also fantastic key card which made it super easy to go in and out of the hotel at late hours - no fiddly codes or locks which was great.

Everything was great - I would not recommend for someone who wants a grand room with lots of facilities but it's a fantastic hotel for city centre exploring and a good night's rest. There are literally so many restaurants and eateries at your doorstep :)

The hotel was in a great location to be able to see the historic sites. We were able to walk to the castle, many cathedrals, churches and museums. There were plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. The hotel was clean, had a lift and the staff were helpful with directions and taxis. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of selections.

We wished they would had at least one English speaking television station.

Everything was a good, very good location and comfortable. I booked a room with a balcony (which was in the description of the room) and when I got there, they told me that it doesn't apply because it's the same description for all the rooms, so I asked why was it more expensive than the other rooms. The reception lady tried to help me but all of the rooms with balconies were taken.

Maybe it would be worth it to have accurate descriptions of the room or ask the clients to specify if they want a balcony or not. Also, breakfast could be better Thank you :)

The room was so lovely and traditional style. Breakfast was fantastic and had Earl Grey tea which is so rare in Italian hotels. The location was so perfect as in the centre of town.

You will probably read other reviews about noise and our room was at the front of the hotel where there are lots of bars. It was noisy so had to consciously switch off to get to sleep but I'm not a light sleeper after a few drinks so it was OK. Suggest asking for a room away from the front if you think it will ve a problem for you but otherwise its mice hotel I a fabulous location.

Great location. Easy to get to from the train station on the Metro. Near most of what you’d want to see and surrounded by many bars and restaurants. Very helpful staff. Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Pretty good breakfast. Good value.

Bathroom could use some updating. On the other hand it and the room was very clean. Some of the hotels we stayed at were overpriced. This is not one of them. I’ll take the bathroom as is over a more expensive room.

Amazing stay in the very centre of Brescia (near Piazza Vittoria) in the historical building, a huge king-sized comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff, distinct style of the room, warm water in the shower, friendly conditions like possibility to cancel till the very end and the cash payment. And a tasty breakfast in the morning. Could one ask for more? ;)

Loved our room with the exposed ceiling beams and view out onto the courtyard. Staff were so friendly and allowed us to check out later and keep our bags while we ran the half marathon and to use the bathroom to change when we returned. Breakfast was excellent with a mix of sweet and savoury.

Nothing at all. It was a bit noisy outside but we are used to this living in a city, and probably just as there were more people around for the event - no fault to the hotel!

The location was extraordinary. And I loved being able to watch the comings and goings from the balcony. Just as another guest said, although you're right there with top sights and restaurants, when you close the window it's very quiet. The breakfast was lovely.

Bed could have been a little softer and the AC could have been a bit more aggressive.
