Excellent location on a quiet back street in the heart of Brescia; very easy walking distance to all the main sights of the old town. Small bedroom but comfortable bed and modern ensuite bathroom facilities which is more than you need for a one or two night sight seeing stay. Friendly reception. Generic breakfast.

Parking is an issue - we had to park the car about a 15 minute walk - away which is not the end of the world - but not too convenient when it’s raining and you have a lot of luggage! Weigh this up against being able to walk everywhere in the old town once you’re checked in!

Gaetano contacted me on WhatsApp before arrival and met us at the property to show us our room. The room was spacious with all the facilities we needed. We were very comfortable and loved the view of the street from the large window. Convenient location, walkable from the train station. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was serviced every day. Breakfast was available and this included fresh pastries on some days. Overall I would highly recommend La Filanda, it was perfect for our 4 night stay. Thank you!

There was nothing we disliked. We appreciated that breakfast was included, but it could be improved with fresh fruit or something that isn't wrapped in plastic (being picky!)

The hotel is in a very central location, just a few minutes from one of the main squares. We have expected a hotel room, but got an apartment, which was very well equipped (full kitchen, washing machine, etc.). The apartment was very big and had a small private courtyard. Had a feeling of staying in someone's home, than in a hotel.

The apartment had a very well equipped kitchen, but no dishwashing liquid, coffee maker and a kettle, but no coffee or tea. The biggest disadvantages were a really loud sound of running water, when someone above the apartment used the bathroom, quite hard bed and tap water, which smelled and tasted weird.

Very clean, cozy and perfectly placed in the old town place! The host is very friendly and gives useful and efficient information, Good internet speed. Toiletries and bottles of water provided and every day cleaning. Enough towels provided. The breakfast is of packed food mainly, but fortunately there is a huge fridge full of yogurt, milk and cheese. Well equipped kitchen for self service.

The curtain in the bathroom, closing the shower area, is very short, so the water floods all the bathroom and one can easily fall on the slippery floor. The cleaning starts BEFORE 9 AM (the neighborhood room's guests left very early in the 2 mornings I staid there) in a very noisy matter - aspirating, slamming doors, loud conversation and laughs, when the check out hour is at 10.30 a.m. This is not acceptable when trying to rest being on weekend vacations.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this apartment! From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by the clean and well-maintained space. The location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions and dining The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring all my needs were met promptly. The amenities provided, including the comfortable bed and very good breakfast made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay.

In general, everything was good. The location was very good. Room was fine and although in the city center but far from the main street, therefore it was quiet.

If the owner wants to improve the breakfast it would be good to provide also some fresh foods and eggs, although many other options were available. If the bed was a little more comfortable and the no noise from the roof, then it was really perfect. These are not to complain, but points to improve.

Location is very close to metro station and also only 15 min walking from the central train station. Host was very nice and helpful. Room always smelled fresh and clean every time I walked in. There were more than enough space, definitely not one of this cramped rooms where you can’t even open your luggage. Breakfast was also nice. I would definitely consider to stay in this hotel if I visit Brescia again.

Wifi connection was weak, most of the time my phone couldn’t connect it. I think a wifi range extender might solve this.

It was a good room opening onto a kitchen with facilities we could use and where breakfast was served. It was clean and comfortable and from our top floor room we could see the castle. There was a washing machine too. The shower was good and the bed comfortable. The location was excellent and we loved Brescia. The host made good suggestions of activities and places. The breakfast had lots of options. Overall it was very good.

The sheets were heavily starched and a bit rough. It lacks a shelf in the bathroom for your toiletries. The breakfast depended on pre wrapped items although pastries were also provided. There was no fresh fruit. These are trivial criticisms of a very good place.

Our host directed us to a parking building 200 metres from our accommodation and we decided to leave the car there. The young lady who met us was helpful and there was a lift to help take our suitcases to the 2nd floor. We were soon exploring Brescia. What a great destination. There is a lot to see - castle, Roman ruins, museums - and the restaurants are very good. Breakfast at La Filanda was excellent. Fresh pastries every morning to go with the packaged products - cereal, toast, jams, yoghurt, meats, and more.

There was nothing to dislike.

The overall impression was just right: warm and friendly support without too much attention. Owner contacted via WhatsUp and this was very good. Among other things I enjoyed elevator. And view from my window.

Well. It is difficult to even remember... Everything was smooth. Maybe just password for WIFI could help place in very noticeable place - just to answer this question 🙂
