The hotel has an excellent location overlooking the sea in the charming village of Scopello. The foyer areas and my room were attractive and comfortably furnished. The staff are competent, friendly and were always available.

I didn’t choose a room with a sea outlook which I regret. My friends had one of those and the view is an unobstructed, beautiful panorama. There wasn’t much to see from my room on the other side. The owners have invested in updating various features which were appreciated. However, they seem to think it’s ok to leave some flaws as they are. My hotel room door was difficult to unlock so I needed help from the reception staff to open it. Also, the glass shower walls couldn’t be closed to prevent water flowing onto the bathroom floor. These flaws were surprising considering the cost of the room.

We stayed 2 nights in Torre Bennistra and we loved everything. From the kindness of the lady at the desk as soon as we arrived (who, for my surprise, spoke fluently English) to all the details. The room was ready so we had an early check-in. Inside it was spacious, the AC worked perfectly, clean and the view was a delight to wake up every morning to. It is a family run business and you can feel at home. Location is also ideal, with a breathtaking sea view from the restaurant, which we didn’t try but breakfast was also very complete. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Scopello. 💛

Nothing we didn’t like. The decor is a bit dated but it’s part of the charm of this place.

This family run hotel was very charming and we were well looked after during our stay. The daily organised taxis for us whenever we asked and were most helpful. It would have been helpful to have had a cab number to use where we were not certain what time we should book for. This is intended to be a constructive comment rather than a complaint.

I liked the ambiance the absence of ultra modern lines. The bathroom was beautifully tiled in wonderful colours. Around the walls were authentic paintings in different styles, not the usual boring hotel pictures. The views from the breakfast terrace were unimaginably beautiful. My room was spacious and the best bed I’ve slept in. Everything was up to date while also being Sicilian. I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the surroundings and the beaches.

Sad that the restaurant was closed. I heard it was very good and it was still on booking.com website.

Lovely room with view over the hills and part of the coast. Good size room and massive bed. Well appointed bathroom. Hotel has an excellent position in the heart of Scopello. Staff friendly but with limited English not that this is expected or an issue. Useful advice given of where to park close by for free.

Being picky the room could have been a little cleaner. A lot of dust under the bed and in one of the drawers which also contained part of a broken piece of furniture. It would have been nice to try the restaurant but it was closed as our visit was out of season.

Perfect location! Right in the centre of everything but still quiet and tucked away with amazing views! The room was clean and large with good air on and a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They were always smiling and greeted us as we left and arrived each time. Breakfast had a good selection and the views from the terrace were some of the best in Scopello! It was excellent value for money and we were very happy with our decision. Only a few minutes walk to pretty much any bar or restaurant you want to go to in Scopello. We didn’t hire a car and it was easy to get there via taxi from the airport and back.

This hotel has a fantastic location overlooking the water. Our room had an incredible view and was very comfortable. The tiles in our bathroom and bedroom were beautiful. It’s a hotel that has been in the family for generations and although it could use some updating it is old world and authentic. The breakfast was so so and an additional fee.

It could use some updating and more breakfast choices.

Location was excellent, right next to the town centre and a 15 minutes walk from the main beaches in Scopello. Also very close to the place where you can take the bus to Riserva dello Zingaro. We took the room with the view and it was incredible, we had the privilege of watching the sunrise by the sea from our own balcony (photo attached).

The shower stall was tiny, even for a small person like me. I've read some comments about it before coming, and thought it was an exaggeration: it's not. Maybe it's not the same size in all the rooms, so if I was a tall/big person, I would try to check this in advance. All in all, I don't think the price we paid was worth it, since it's a normal hotel in a very small town (that had not much to do, actually).

Absolutely loved the family run property! It is very beautiful and quaint. We had the sea room view and I could not get over it!! STUNNING sunrises! Loved the decor and tiles

The shower was not very strong / or hot. The beds aren’t great, a double is two singles pushed together. The breakfast is quite expensive and if you don’t get there early you don’t get much but cookies and toast but still pay full price. You’ll miss out on eggs, crossiants etc

The hotel and it's staff is amazing. It is located right at the hills overlooking the beautiful coast of Scopello. We booked a mountain view room with terrace and also had great views of the sea. The breakfast was really nice and the staff accommodated our wishes well and had lots of useful advice.

Scopello is a small village - as such it is not easy to find parking (the hotel does not provide parking facilities for guests). You will have to either pay a third party parking place or park ~200 meter up the village on the road if there is space.
