The location of the property was great, right beside the main square yet felt very safe and secure. The room was very clean and the hosts even left out little chocolates and other goodies for the guests to enjoy on their way in and out. I was very pleasantly surprised with this accommodation and would definitely recommend it if you’re staying in Catania. It was a great price for what we got - akin to 4 star hotel.

- The accommodation is a lot better in real life in comparison to the photos. The photos almost dissuaded me from booking this but very glad I went with it in the end! - Check out time is 10am (may be normal for Catania but not sure) which I felt is a bit early. I would’ve preferred 11am

The location is the best you can find, with easy access to the Borselino bus station and the railway. Quiet street, no restaurant under the windows. Extremely clean room and bathroom, very friendly and ready to help landlord. Access by alternative codes, both building and the b&b. To enjoy breakfast you have to walk two minutes to reach the famous Prestipino cafe, which is extremely convenient. A special praise should be given to the landlady’s discrete generosity, who left us constantly small cookies and coffee. The hosts do their best to make you feel like home.

Spotlessly clean, gorgeous new bathroom, generous extras provided (including toothbrush and toothpaste). We stayed in the family room, which is very comfortable and has a little balcony with table and chairs. Great location two minutes from Piazza del Duomo. Alessia was incredibly helpful even before we got to Sicily, as there was a lot of uncertainty around Catania airport following the fire. Thank you!

I would have liked the option of breakfast but there is a mini fridge in the room, complementary cold and hot drinks and biscuits. The “pasticceria” down the road is to to die for and the Sicilian breakfast options are amazing.

The room was 2 minutes' walking distance from Piazza Duomo, far enough to be quiet when you want to rest. The room was exceptionally clean, a small espresso machine was always topped up with espresso pods and a selection of teas. The bathroom was quite large, with all the little extras you would find in a 5 star hotel. The room had a double bed and 2 single beds.

I would have loved some soft feather pillows instead of the foam ones.

The property is located directly in the city center of Catania, just one-minute walk away from the main square and 5-minute walk away from the bus station where you can catch buses to the beach or the airport. There are also many very good restaurants and bars nearby. Owners are super-nice and prepare very tasty breakfast consisting of various sweet pastries (filled with either chocolate, jam or ricotta cheese), small pizza cakes, brioche (bun), ham, cheese, butter, small cakes, coffee, and various juices. We stayed for 7 nights and we couldn't get enough of it!

This great location also comes with a few disadvantages. Firstly, there is a lot of noise at night. This is mostly caused by a karaoke bar on the street as you can hear people screaming ("singing") really late into the night. But even at nights when this bar is closed, you can hear loud noises from the outside mostly because youngsters in Catania enjoy riding noisy scooters in the city center at night and honking all the time. Luckily, the owners provide you with earplugs which will save your night. Also if you rent a car, it is very difficult to park it around the property and it takes a lifetime to get out of the city center.

excelent location, very very clean and very confortable. Alessia the owner was very helpful and very kind with the clients and gave us full information about everything we needed. Tea and coffee matchine available in the room. For sure i will recomand this place for my friends, and i will book this b&b when i visit Catania again.

As many vacation rentals in Sicily, the facility share the entrance with other uses in the building. This location is on the second floor of a building with multiple uses on other floors (there is an elevator). The building does feel safe with very easy access to the middle of town. You need to be in contact with the manager who is wonderful, to gain access.

Very nice and helpful host. After check out, we can leave our luggage in b&b and go to the city. She gives you a map of the city and shows where the most important places are. Asked her where you should eat, she knows great place. Room I near main city Square, but at night it is quiet. Highly recommended.

Al Quadrato D'Oro is very centrally located, a few steps from the historical sights, the rooms are very clean, equipped with everything you need and even more. The owner is very nice and helps you with any information. If I'll come to Catania, I will definitely come back to this location

Perfect place to stay in Catania in the middle of the city centre. Host is very friendly with good recommendations of local sights and restaurants. The flexibility regarding luggage storage was extraordinary. The room is nice, feels really newly renovated, the balcony is perfect to have.
