The location is fantastic, the place was really eclectic and very much in style with old-time baroque Sicily. Our room was super quiet and quite big, bigger than I expected (the ceiling is very high). Paolo (host) was extremely helpful, recommended us some places to visit and also let us leave our baggages for few days on last day. The room & bathroom were very clean, with some useful toiletries & tea set. There is also living room for common use, but we didn't really had a chance to use it. Wifi connection was quite strong, so we had no issues here.

The only thing that we didn't like were the squeaky doors - they did make more noise that they should. Also we kinda hoped there would be smart TV so we can use HBO or Netflix app on the days when the weather was really bad.

The owner was very helpful and accommodating and responsive to any questions or help I needed getting to the hotel from the airport and during my stay. The room was very clean, renovated, quiet, beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The location is just a minute from he city center - it is in the heart of the city so can walk to see the nice sites and find food and drinks. Safe clean and lovely area. Would definitely go back to it. The place is very charming and lovely older architecture.

There’s nothing I did not love about this hotel. I loved it and it made me feel the culture of the place abd was very relaxing and beautiful.

Amazing location and super comfortable rooms! Paolo welcomed us and let us drop our bags super early and check in early too. He organised for our washing to be done and even took us out for a coffee when we first arrived. It was a fantastic welcome to Catania chatting to Paolo about the city and his life. He also helped us organise getting to the airport and kindly ordered us a taxi. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful accommodation. Thanks again Paolo!

The location was excellent, in the city central. The room was very clean and very warm environment. And the best was the owner was exceptionally polite and helpful. He even walk up at 3.00 am in the morning to help me with the taxi. I even forgot something in the room and he send it by post. This is one of the best experiences I have ever had, and I will suggest this location to everyone. I felt really taken care of and everything was very good.

Located in the heart of Catania's nicest area, I found walking to all the major tourist attractions, as well as the best restaurants and bars, extremely convenient. The place itself is spectacular, in a classical building with a beautiful window overlooking a small courtyard. Everything in the unit was comfortable and clean. In particular, the stairway to the first floor unit and the shared dining room inside of it are absolutely spectacular. Most importantly, Paulo, the host, was absolutely wonderful, and one of the kindest and most generous people I've encountered in Italy. He was responsive, courteous, and extremely helpful. If you are thinking of staying in Catania, do not hesitate in booking this place. You will not regret it.

Amazing place with a soul. Perfect location - on the main street but room had windows to the internal part so it was really quiet. Lovely host who gave us a lot of tips where to eat and what to see in the city. There was even kettle in the room with cups so you could make a tea. Owner agreed that we could leave backpacks after check out.

This is not new place so have in mind that door to the room makes noises when you want to close them .

Gorgeous property in a location that truly cannot be beat. Steps away from the main piazza. but the building and rooms are quiet and calm. The host Paolo is extraordinarily kind and helpful, as well as just being a joy to chat with. The building is historic and lovely, the rooms are spacious, and everything is wonderfully clean. Having coffee available in the morning is a nice bonus. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Catania!

Fantastic location right next to the main piazza. Room was clean and very large and host Paolo was fantastic. He was very friendly and gave great recommendations for must see things in Catania. He also replied very quickly whenever I had a question, There was a coffee machine there all the time if you would like it and although very close to main streets it was fairly quiet in the rooms.

*Location is just perfect - in the middle of all attractions like Piazza Duomo, fish market, Teatro Greco, Via Etna literally everything! *In an historical building with a classic design, letting the sunlight in all day. *Minimal equipments in the room (kettle in the shared area) *parking area at the backyard of the building *Host is quite helpful and responsive *The city is still warm in November, it was definetely one of the best place to go in cold winter times. Will come here again!

Paolo is the greatest host we’ve ever met! He is super helpful, kind and friendly. He even suggested some places to eat out and visit. Our room was also tidied up every day during our stay. The location is very safe and in the city center. We enjoyed meeting such a nice host as Paolo and staying in such a place. We hope to see him and stay there again!
