Room was big enought, has a private bathroom with shower, one wardrobe, air conditioning, TV (but only Italian channels) and fridge. Also there was a little balcony but too small to sit there. Room was cleaned everyday, and the towels were changed daily. Also we had access to shared kitchen and dining room, and there was posibilities to buy breakfast or some tours. Owners were very nice and helpful so there is nothing to complain about. Location of B&B Opera is fantastic, near the main street in Catania Via Etnea, but luckily was very calm and quiet.

Sometimes wifi didn't work, was hard to see movies on the phone and the walls were very thin that we had heard everything in others room.

Great location close to the town centre, the train-station and to buses going to the airport. Very nice rooms with a friendly host and a nice communal area with coffe and a place to hang out. A lot of good restaurants cose by.

Stairs are always hard to negotiate with a lot of luggage, this wasn't too far up.

Stay in the heart of the city, quick access to the metro and be welcomed into the home of an amazing host. Enjoy the great breakfast and wonderful hospitality. relax on the terrace with a beautiful view of history. This place is personable and you will receive great service with recommendations of tours and restaurants. Easy check in and check out. As Catania is a busy city , it can be a bit loud in certain rooms. This is the case with majority of the properties, come prepared, nothing some ear plugs won’t cure!

Very clean and very safe and secure. in the centre of a beautiful world of world class art. 10mins walk to the train station. Surrounded by UNESCO world class art. Diego met me. showed me around the property. he Recommended fabulous local bars and restaurants and a wonderful breakfast in a nearby restaurant. would I come again? yes. would I recommend it? yea. 10/10.

Nice small apartment near the center of catania. You can visit most of the sightseeing spots by feet. We had a warmful welcoming by Beatrice which introduced to us her favorite restaurants and city locations. She recommended a tourguide for Etna which we booked during our stay. We had a amazing experience at the vulcano Etna. We had a rented car and parked at Parking Sturzo AMT. (Good price and no parking problems) We stayed 4 days and used Catania as a home base for daily trips (Etna, Sirakus, Taormina)

Reconsider if you really need a car. Driving into and out of the historic center takes longer time because you have a lot of traffic. You have additional parking costs (appr. 12 € per day)

loved the old building High ceiling and of course Constantino was so kind and helpful.

The surrounding area is quite sad, full of graffiti so looks like a grotto, but in saying this we felt pretty safe to walk every where. Poor old Catania needs some serious love. my only comment about the room is wear air plugs if your sensitive to traffic noise and bring your own soft pillow if you don’t like hard ones.

The location is very close to the center, also close to the train station. The room was spacious, with big enough bathroom with good shower, all very clean. We got the room cleaned everyday. The owner and the staff were also very nice, they provided useful information on the sightseeing opportunities and they were very friendly.

The facility was astonishingly close to the city center. Costantino and his family has hosted us as best as he could do, giving us a lot of information about the town and all the experiences we could do.

Sightseeing on foot of the town and easy car excursions to Taormina and Etna.

Parking a car requires a bit of effort.
