Staff , especially a ladies preparing breakfast are is so kind , helpful ! Breakfast , typically Italian. Plenty of food and fruits. I love this hotel and miss this place. Huge rooms with terrace and awesome view on streets from small balcony. CLEAN , no remarks. Fast internet.

I have no remarks to the facility and stuff. This is just information for these people which considering to visit this hotel. As everyone knows South Italy is a bit different from super restored clean north Italian cities. Catania on first sight may not look super. Buildings here are a bit rusty. Hotel entrance is in back street through big gateway with intercom. Hotel has rooms on top floors plus access to roof platform. All in typical Catania style. Do not expect sterile SPA resort.

From start to finish, our stay st the Hotel Biscari was just brilliant. A lovely welcome from Guilia and Oscar, who can't do enough for you. You're made yo feel really welcome, a home from home. The building itself is old but beautiful. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast on the terrace was served by 2 lovely ladies, who also can't do enough. It's table service, which was nice. The breakfast is amazing, so much! We hardly needed lunch! The hotel itself is in a great location, walking distance to the square, where it's all happening. It's also near the airport, and Guilia arranged a transfer for us, to collect us and take us back to the airport All in all, we enjoyed our week at the Hotel Biscari, and Sicily! Would definitely recommend!

we were living in Hotel Biscari during Easter Vacation time (31.03 to 05.04.2023). The Hotel owner and her colleagues are very friendly. The Hotel Room is big, comfortable and could fulfill all what we need. The breakfast were fantastic ! we have enjoyed daily great local food, fresh tomato and fruits from Sicily. They were very delicious. Only one small point. The whole building was still in a construction condition in the ground floor. Maybe for the future, it would be good to have a lift. It will be easier for travellers with big suitcases. If we are going to Catania again we will for sure choose Hotel Biscari again. Best Regards. Family Pauer.

The staff was wonderful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We really liked the historic feel of the building and the rooms. It felt charming and comfortable while not being overly stuffy. Breakfast was very nice with shaded tables on a rooftop patio overlooking the city.

Arriving late in the evening, we had trouble figuring out how to get in to the property, luckily the shuttle driver was able to set us on the right path, but it didn't take long for us to get confused again. While we knew that there were stairs (no elevator) to access the property, we didn't realize how many - at the end of a long day of busses, airports, and travel it felt like we were carrying our luggage up a mountain. The staff was very helpful (and sympathetic) and helped us with our bags. We had a little bit of trouble figuring out the door lock for one of our rooms as it was an old skeleton key, but once we got the hang of it, it was fine. We also had a bit of trouble with the hot water for showers in the morning, but the staff was able to remedy it quickly.

We stayed only one night at Hotel Biscari but it was excellent. Contact with the hotel before was good and they helpfully arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated and although simple, had everything we needed. We appreciated the little balcony overlooking the street below as it gave us fantastic views of the many swifts swooping by. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was outside on the terrace with the sea in the distance. It was extemely generous. Everyone was helpful despite speaking little English, giving us good information about where to go to eat, and how to get the bus to the airport (just outside!).

It is up a lot of stairs and no lift so challenging if you have heavy bags.

Fantastic staff! Giulia made us coffee when we arrived early, with cake & strawberries! She made us very welcome and gave excellent tips for restaurants. Room No 1 was lovely, with a balcony looking on to a side street, and a domed, decorated ceiling. We watched the swifts from our balcony with great enjoyment. The breakfast was the best we have had in Italy, eaten on a terrace with sea views. Great location for all the sites. Quiet as well. We had a great experience & would like to thank the staff very much!

The adjacent building is currently under renovation, meaning that the internal courtyard is a construction site at present. The construction work did not impact our enjoyment of the hotel, which is a peaceful oasis!

Very friendly staff, helpfull with luggage, parking the car etc etc.. Excellent breakfast (on the roof), take your time for that (we had to hurry to catch a plane). The location is very good, close to the center.

Parking on the streets is difficult. The hotel has limited private parking places, so if you come by car, try to reserve a parking place. As said: the staff will help you with parking the car. Oh and: at first I overlooked the hotel at the list of doorbells, so I didn't know how to enter. So my advice: take a good look when you are in front of the door.

This hotel is located in the old city, so the room is not the most modern, but it’s still clean and tidy. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. The lady explained very well about what to eat and do in Catania, Oscar is very friendly and helpful throughout! The ladies in charge of breakfast are very kind and nice as well. Really enjoyed the stay and the breakfast.

The stay at the hotel Biscari was just perfect. Breakfast was just delicious, accompanied with Oskars excellent service and it is served on the roof terrace which is just brilliant. Hotel is placed in the heart of the city, few minutes away from Duomo and central square but tucked away in one of the side streets with plenty of shade and green. Everybody that works there is beyond kind and friendly but i have to mention Oskar, who at my arrival offered me to use bathroom and shower even thought i was there way earlier before checking in. It meant a lot especially when there is scorching hot outside. You dont get that kind of service very often! All kudos to you Oskar:)

There was not anything not to like!!!

The roof terraces are a real wow factor, one is shaded and one open, it's so nice sitting surrounded by greenery and looking over the rooftops to the sea. Breakfast was great, they just kept bringing more stuff! The staff are lovely so friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre of the old town, just down the road from the cathedral and nain square and very close to everything so you can pop back for a dose of air conditioning when you get too hot. It's in a baroque building with high ceilings and lots of atmosphere.

We felt a but daunted when we realised we would have to carry our bags up the marble steps, but it was definitely worth it!
