Albergo Anna

Great place to stay for a quick connection to the airport. Room was small but comfortable, no attached bathroom. Only stayed one night to catch a morning flight, it was a quick walk from the building to the train station where the bus picks up passengers. Central area looked like it had been recently renovated. My room was a bit dated but comfortable and towels were provided. The lady that checked me in only spoke Italian but she communicated the basics to me fairly well and was nice.

Guidance for the airport connections would be nice. Possibly some signage in multiple languages so staff can communicate to tourists better. The bathroom had no physical barrier to separate the shower from the rest of the room, so after someone had used it the entire floor was wet and slippery.

Friendly lady waiting at the arranged time, showing me everything. The rooms are in a building inside a private communal garden with a fence without a lock so no time deadline. Just walk straight from the gate and you will see the signs. The rooms are on the first floor and there is a lift. I got the large double bedroom with ensuite and balcony to the garden. Comfortable beds, very clean and well serviced, with good drying towels, a hair drier and a nice continental breakfast with a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room. Table, TV, bedside tables with lamps, chairs, wardrobe. A couple pizza places, a bar and some shops nearby. Great location! 3 minutes walk from the station! 10 minutes bus to the airport with stop by the station, but it's a combined train/bus ticket, so if you stopped at Ciampino as I did you will have to buy a ticket at the machine changing the start at Termini to Ciampino Airport, only E2.70 and very frequent. Will definitely use Albergo Anna if I have another early flight from Ciampino. Grazie!

There was no separate soap for the bathroom, although there was a sachet with a small amount of shower gel. I couldn't connect to the Internet. There was a clear indication for the password but it didn't work for any available network. Luckily I still had a lot of data for my 30 days TIM tourist SIM card, so not a biggie for me. Expect some noise, this is Italy after all and this is a normal flat in a small building. I slept with my ear plugs, no problem. I truly recommend the place, especially for the location and the great quality/price balance.

Wonderful accommodation. The location is outstanding. Literally less than 100 meters from the main train and bus station. The bus to Ciampino airport also stops there. The train to the termini station in Rome costs 1.5 euros and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. The host is very kind. We got breakfast and cold water in the fridge, coffee and juice awaited us.

There is no air conditioning. But in September night is no so hot.

it is very close to the train station, I have my 8 years old son with me and we arrived 8:20pm and I was worried about safety but there wasn’t any reason. the roads are very calm and illuminated and there are some coffee shops on the way what makes u feel safe as isn’t isolated

the bathroom was a bit small but we managed. and also the breakfast could be a bit more fancy

Clean place, close to the railway station

Bathroom could have a shower cabin installed, so the entire toilet would not get wet during a shower. After flushing the toilet, refilling it makes a very loud noise. Also the area is loud because of the landing planes, but I guess you can hear that in all Ciampino.

Good location. Clean, light, warm rooms. Wonderful, kind host who was speaking italian but it was not a problem, we used translator. There were some some snacks for the early breakfast in our room: croissant, toast, jam, juice, water and coffee capsule for each person.

The guesthouse is great. I stayed one night due to an early flight. Anna doesn't speak much English but it was enough for me. The room was clean and spacious. The location is very handy. Definitely value for money.

I liked Anna very much - the woman who runs the place - a very warm and spontaneous character indeed. I needed this experience on my business trip. Her guesthouse is almost next door to the railway station, and a stone throw to Rome Ciampino Airport...what more do you want???

perhaps the anxiety to find the place, but in hindsight it has been very easy.

It was a short stay as we had to catch the flight early in the morning. The lady didn't speak English but we were able to sort things out. Since it was only a night stay, I cannot comment more. For us it was good.
