The staff at Palazzo Pacini were extremely friendly and gave us a choice of rooms when we arrived. The breakfast was delicious, a variety of food available and all made with fresh produce. Wonderful to sit on the outdoor terrace and enjoy the views of the Tuscan countryside with your morning coffee! The building was beautiful and is ideally located in the historic town with plenty of local bars and restaurants. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated with original period features. Would highly recommend!

The air conditioning in the room was not very powerful, maintaining a temperature of around 27 degrees celsius. However, we were made aware of this issue when being shown the room.

Pietro and his beautiful wife have created an absolutely stunning experience at Palazzo Pacini. They took pride in every aspect of the property: from the bespoke room design, to the immaculate breakfast, to the most incredible location I could have imaged. Every single aspect of Palazzo Pacini was breathtaking. Describing Palazzo Pacini as pure perfection simply does not do it justice. I stayed with my sister-in-law, and while we were bother very excited about the next part of our trip, we were both moved to tears at the thought of leaving. Pietro made us so happy comfortable and at home,and his warmth and genuineness took our stay from perfection to superlative in everyway. This was truly unbeatable experience. We will stay here again and again - to the extent that we will detour through tuscany just so we can stay with Pietro again. This is not an exaggeration.

However, on our first night, we found ourselves irresistibly drawn to the medieval city of Val d'Elsa. We wandered through its narrow streets, immersed in the serenity and charm that this hidden gem had to offer. It was an unforgettable experience that left us with a deep sense of tranquility. The attention to detail throughout the palazzo was remarkable. Every corner seemed to have its own story to tell. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Overall, our stay at this heritage palazzo was nothing short of magical. It provided us with an opportunity to escape the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a unique and memorable experience in Tuscany.

Everything was awesome from very beginning. From great checkin with polite people perfectly speaking in english. Hotel and rooms were very clean with awesome atmosphere. Breakfast was very nice, there was everything that should be for good breakfast.

There was just one thing. The parking that was according to the offer BUT it was on the street as a public parking not private one that we were expecting from the offer. Furthermore we had to repark the car because of cleaning of the streets in very morning :(

Great location in beautiful historic surroundings. Free parking close by that felt safe (and was). Outstanding period room with lovely views. Accommodating hosts, with excellent English. Breakfast superb, on a terrace overlooking glorious countryside. Town worthy of a full days exploration. Dinner location at the wine shop across the road, as recommended by the host, was also excellent. Plenty of places to eat out. We will be back.

Very pretty place very old buildings and beautiful . It’s a small place so you have this home feeling. We truly enjoyed this place. We stayed at this hotel palazzo Pacino. We loved it ! It’s really a palace :) Plus it's pet friendly. it’s a great feeling to sleep in a palace :) it was a pleasure to meet Mr Pietro and his wife I think her name was Christine . She made us beautiful well done eggs. There was also fresh cake to eat and every single thing was spectacular ! There’s a place to park really next to the center.

The air conditioner could be a little bit warmer.

The city itself is a gem and the hotel is located right at the heart of it. The staff is super nice and gives great restaurant recommendations. The room is clean and kinda authentically nice. The parking lot is a bit out of the city, but not far. It's like a 5-8 min walk from the hotel and it's free. There's also a temporary parking space in front of the hotel to unload your car.

Simply amazing. Beautifully renovated antique palazzo. A modern and silent lift has somehow been incorporated into the building. We stayed in the top floor room with incredible countryside views. Room and bathroom superb. Wonderful breakfast terrace. Excellent buffet breakfast and also freshly cooked eggs, cuts meats etc. prepared to order. Pietro is a perfect host, with plenty of helpful advice on places to visit in the area.

The city Council needs to promote and upgrade this historic and potentially beautiful area. The lift to the lower, modern, town has been out of order for a few years. Too many shops and restaurants are closed. Although it is a great base from which to vist many towns, villages and the Chianti area, you have to search for the fine sites in Colle Alta.

Beutiful location in the old town just outside the ZTL. The owner was very helpful in directing us where to park the car and how to leave to avoid the ZTL. The owner offered several suggestions for dinner and the one we selected was excellent. Room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the landscape. Breakfast was excellent (scrambled eggs, ham, croissants, cereals, orange juice, various coffees and tea, etc,) Would highly recommend this hotel.

The welcome from Pietro was warm and friendly. The view of the countryside was lovely. The property was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was also perfect. The location was convenient to both the city and the old historic part of town with many choices for dining. The breakfast in the morning was deluxe and with a view. Many options and everything fresh and delicious. Truly loved everything here.
