Dervio is a nice place to stay around lake Como, you can walk by the lake and get lost in the old town and it has more shops than the more touristy villages. By train or bus Varenna is only 10 min away. The owners are very friendly and there's a little kitchen you can use. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast is very good.

Unfortunately the walls are very thin and there is a lot of noise from the neighbours, think about bringing some earplugs. The room is also very small and it can be hard to move around if you have a lot of bags.

Very good price vs. value. The room wasn't very big, but the beds were OK. Very helpful staff. Rich and tasty breakfast (I wasn't expecting such breakfast for that price). Location in the centre of Dervio but we also have received the parking ticket to park for free in every place in the city. I really liked that city. Much better for families with kids than Bellagio or Varenna (not full of tourists). Many green places, big playground and long beach, good restaurants with reasonable prices (with fishes from the lake) in Dervio. Good place to relax.

On arrival at about 7pm, the B&B is separate from the office reception, so I called the mobile number and within a few minutes, they were there to receive me and take care of me. The lady could speak reasonable english. Bathroom was very clean and tidy, hot water was perfect in the shower, good pressure. Bed was very comfy, Breakfast perfect., very good spread of food and the coffee and hand made cake was really nice. If you have a car, they give you a permit to park on the street, you need to find a spot, the streets are narrow.

My room was at the top. Taking my luggage was difficult. I suggest to everyone, just take what you need to you room for the night to save on this difficulty, specially if you are older or have heavy luggage.

The location is very good because the house is very near to the train station and to the lake. This was important for us because we travelled by public transport. The room was very comfortable. It was a bit warm at night but there was a fan what was very useful. Everything we needed for a few days stay was available.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa Sul Sasso. It was really easy to get to from the train station and very convenient to travel between the other more touristy towns. The room was lovely, homely and very clean. The breakfast was great too.

Very Good House, nice personal, the room is well equipped, guests can use the kitchen which is equipped too - fridge, coffee machine and other. The breakfast ist light but nice (coffee, bread, ham, cheese, jam, croissants) and Lago di Como in 8 min to walk!

There is no air conditioner and mattress is very soft. It was sometimes really hard to fall asleep.

Nice breakfast, location in the center, close to the supermarket, bakery, coffee places, restaurants, train station,beach... My room was great for stay, cool and confortable. I will be happy to come back.

It will be great to have possibility to have some space in fridge (to keep some cool drinks:-)

The hosts were really friendly and gave lots of information about the area. The room was really nice and clean. Bed was comfy and got a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent and really tasty! Would totally recommend.

Shower was a bit too small.

It was a comfortable stay. The host were friendly. The breakfast was exceptional as there was a range of different food.

Adding a TV might be a nice touch.

Three flights of stairs. Difficult managing luggage.
