A great place to spent a few days even if you spent all day long at the location. 40 min to walk to the center Florence, 20-25 by bus. it's a quiet and relaxing place. The room il large enough, clean, bathroom-ok. It's a good ratio price/quality according to the totally irrational prices in Florence.
I would have appreciated a little more care for details at least according to the price. The room has no wall mount hanger, you have to put the clothes in wardrobe on the clothes hanger which are just the metal ones that you get when you receive your stuff from the dry cleaning. No mirror in the room, no fridge, air conditioning out of order, the mosquito nets were missing or broken. Breakfast just a little above basic. But these are just details . Anybody can live a couple of days with them as long the basic requests are met.

The location is perfect - a 45-minute walk from Piazza del Signora. The house is truly authentic with an amazing yard, and what's best - lots of parking space inside. Although you're in the broader city center, it's quiet, and you can just hear birds.
The owner/reception guy was not that polite, and we waited 15 minutes for him to check us in, despite ringing the reception bell. Since it's an old house, sound insulation is not good - we had a family with two children who were yelling and running in the hall at 7 am, so we couldn't sleep properly. During our three-day stay, nobody cleaned or checked the room, nor added toilet paper. The shower wad tiny so you can barely turnaround to take shampoon. However, these are minor issues, and I believe we will visit this place again.

Ricardo was a very good host. He took care of us very well and he provided everything we asked for. Garden is wonderful, location is also very good, you can park your car and go explore the city by bus. Breakfast was also alright, it was mostly pastries / cheese / meat. We Turkish people are used to eating fresh produce at breakfast but unfortunately it is not possible to find such breakfasts in Europe. Room was very spacious, wooden furniture is very authentic the sheets and towels were very clean. We enjoyed our stay in Florence thanks to Ricardo.
Nothing wrong about the property. Just a tip for our fellow travelers. Public transportation in Florence is not good at all. Buses come way later than expected and very crowded. Uber is also very expensive. Don’t forget to avoid ZTL’s if you will drive.

Ricardo, the owner is terrific! He went out of his way to help us with transportation on a very busy day in Florence. He also gave us a terrific recommendations for restaurant & sites to visit. It’s in a quiet neighborhood , away from all the main tourist areas. The price is very, very reasonable!
It was all good! Most hotels and Airbnbs in Florence (and on the Amalfi Coast) have gates, so it is always helpful to call just before your arrival.

Good choice, the accommodation had a Tuscany air and ambiance. Big plus: Spacious yard and parking lot Nice and friendly stuff- Ricardo was awesome and very hospitable Breakfast was good - simple but good, fresh.
A recommendation to improve: offer vanity kits and slippers in the room. The room that we had was a bit noisy considering the old windows, and the position - street front. We heard every car who was passing by,

We were only one night there. The garden where the hotel is located is fascinating. Full of trees and flowers. They offered us as a welcom drink an espresso😉 Calm but also not far. The room was big. The bathroom full of light and spacious.
The breakfast was too simple! You should only try to become full. So don't have a high expectation.

Beautiful peaceful place - country side like, but in the middle of town. Clean, warm rooms. Good size perfectly clean bathroom. Very helpful hotel staff. Big parking. Definitely one of the places you would go again.
Sweet breakfast. Totally no Mediterranean diet. No eggs, no tomatoes, one kind of bread - toast bread. This could be improved.

Ricardo is a great guest and we want to express our gratitude for being such a wonderful person also through this message. We felt extraordinary and the recommendations about sightseeing and traditional restaurants made our experience memorable. Next trip to Florence will be for sure at this location.

Quiet location in a neighbourhood just outside the city centre with easy access by bus. Neat and tidy, inside as well as outside. Breakfast was good and having it outside in the garden was very nice. Staff welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast could possibly have had some more to choose from, for example a couple of different sorts of bread.

The pictures do not do justice. This hotel is just beautiful. The backyard and the view out back is Tuscany! Monica is super nice. The breakfast was better than your typical hotel. The bed was comfortable. Water pressure great. Also, there is free parking, which is rare for Italy.
The only thing is that the furniture is dated.
