Wonderful staff, actually quite quiet for a city location. Wonderful river view.

We booked here because it said there was parking..but there isn't so don't be fooled. We had to find a parking area and pay a daily fee..then get back to the hotel.

Clean. The lady who appeared to do everything was so lovely and helpful. She is an exceptional person who went out of her way to help anyone. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I’m gluten free and I was very happy. Just tell the staff when you arrive and they can try and cater for allergies. 38 degrees here today so the AC was appreciated. Haha Not fancy but if you just need a safe place to stay and are out a lot, this is recommended.

I was okay but if you can’t handle steep stairs, you may struggle. I did advertise free parking but it is street parking and I was a little nervous.

Mia Palace provided excellent communication with our booking, we knew exactly where to go and how to access the property. This made for a very easy check in. We were greeted at breakfast by the wonderful Nadia. Nothing too much trouble, not only was her breakfast fantastic, her recommendations for what to see and do were brilliant. Nadia is an absolute asset. We had the attic room and it was lovely, with a balcony and full of character. We relied on the a/c unit to keep us cool but it worked perfectly.

We were OK with the 3 flights of stairs with our luggage, but appreciate it wouldn't be suitable for everyone. We were also OK with the 15 min walk to the center, but appreciate being a bit closer would be more suitable for some.

You might think you want to stay right in Florence proper but it's much better to stay on the south Arno and wake up to a lovely view of Florence every morning! The location is perfect and was a nice spot for our Group of seven to land in two rooms. The breakfast was more than expected each day and Nadia took good care of us with recommendations and marking up of the city tourist map - great places to see and eat and good deals. Highly recommend and would return!

Not the fault of the location but we don't recommend the bunk beds for adults!!

Since I went to Florence by car I had to find a place with parking spots around, as soon as I arrived I found a free parking spot just on the other side of the entrance where the staff advice people to park. The room was clean and spacious furnished with all the utilities like hairdryer, soap, shampoo, clean towels etc. Every morning they set up a beautiful breakfast, sweet and savory with eggs, ham, cheese and tomatoes. Toast, jam, Nutella, cornflakes, yoghurt, cakes and all the hot drinks and juice. I very much enjoyed this stay cause it’s just 10/15 mins from the old part of the city and it’s good value. The staff were lovely, all of them. They were all kind, especially one (I don’t remember her name) with curly hair who made me warm croissant and coffee and then gave me great tips to enjoy the city even more. Thank you to all of you!

It’s not regarding the property per se. However, if you’re a solo traveler mind that at night you should pay more attention when going back to the hotel.

+ Nadia is the sweetest and kindest person in Florence, she knows ways around the city and also gave us map + comfortable bed + tasty breakfeast + clean room + nice view + close to centre + wifi is good enough (for social media and browsing places where to go next day :)) ....also there is electric kettle on room which is not mentioned description of "equipment"

- I don't have any "cons" to write, I was more than satisfied with my stay so I definitely recommend this accommodation

The room had everything we needed and the location was easy to access and walk to other parts of the city from. We only stayed here on our return to Florence before we were leaving to fly home, so we booked the location to get some sleep before getting up early to fly home. We did not therefore get to experience staying here longer, but the room was a nice size and provided everything we needed for our last night in Florence.

The only thing I would say here is that the location is a flight of stairs up so if you have large suitcases, it is the only deterrent but not really a big deal.

Mia Palace is a beautiful B&B! Its location is perfect, right next to the river in the city center. Our host, Nadia, was the sweetest and most welcoming person ever. She gave us so many helpful tips on how to spend our time in Florence, what to see, and where to eat. We felt so welcome. If I could, I would take her home with me! Our room was on the top, with a lovely terrace and view over the river. It was so cozy and lovely. We were so happy that we found this place!

easy and clear check-in information, no problem with late check-in, rich breakfast, spacious room and bathroom, convenient location just 15-20 minutes away from the heart of the city, free public parking space in front of the B&B, friendly staff, free city maps, view to the river from the window,

old and not renovated building, some cracks and derelict spots in the room and bathroom, no safe locked luggage room, very steep stairs, poor soundproof,

The room was clean, sheets, towels and everything. The personal were beyond impecable and super nice, assisting you in anything you needed. The place was 15 min by foot from the main buildings and museums and had the most beautiful view over the river. Good breakfast with tasty cakes and croissants.

Maybe a new decoration and some TLC. Nothing major. You get what you get from the price. Great quality-price overall. Just bear in mind that this place doesn't have elevator and you need to reach the 2nd floor by stairs. So it really isn't advisable for older people or people with limited mobility.
