Just a weird quirk which I’ve never experienced before in a hotel - when leaving the hotel you are requested to leave the key with the reception staff (not sure of how or why). This doesn’t apply if you plan on returning after 11pm (but this was odd to me - and caused a little stress as you couldn’t be as flexible if your day took an unexpected turn of events and you left your key and had to return after 11pm) No TV in the room - not a dislike per se, but sometimes it’s good to have.

There were so many things that my husband and I loved about the hotel: Location: it was approx 15 minutes from the tourist attractions and the train station (SMN). We were doing a few daytrips so this was perfect. We did not have to take a cab or metro anywhere. We just walked. We also preferred to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. The walk back to the hotel was perfect along the Arno or through the cute neighbourhood. It is also a very safe area as it appears to be close to Embassy Row so there is much security. Very very quiet. Couldn't have asked for a better location. This is a boutique hotel so there are only 14 rooms. Staff and breakfast: Very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent with a selection of fresh fruit, cheese, meats, bread, croissants. There is also an a la carte menu where you can choose from freshly prepared omlettes, pancakes etc. This breakfast is included in the hotel rate. We stayed in the deluxe junior suite with a view of the river. It was terrific waking up to the sun and a view of the river and the bridges of Florence. We will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in beautiful Florence again. Patricia and David, Toronto Canada

Hardpressed to post anything we didnt like. There was no TV but really who needs a TV when youre in this beauiful awe inspiring city

From the moment we arrived till checkout, everything was more than perfect in this beautifully designed hotel. We were warmly received and we didn't even pay until checkout. The room was so beautiful with a small view to the riverside. The room was tidy and super clean, with all the facilities mentioned. What we loved most, is the quietness of the area. If you wish to sleep comfortably, this would be your perfect choice. The breakfast formula was generous and delicious too. By far, it was my best stay in Europe.

There's nothing we didn't like about this hotel. It is nested in the center of Florence, and it's a walkable distance from all the nice streets there. You will also love the soft jazz music in the breakfast area.

Breakfast was great, good selection. Scrambled eggs and bacon was really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great, perfectly situated by the river. Roof terrace has great views of Florence. Comfy bed, tidy room, great spacious marble bathroom.

Aircon is behind the curtains, so when sleeping with the curtains drawn the window will be very cold, but you'll want to open the curtains a little bit to help with airflow.

Location is great the staff were friendly and when there was a delay with my car they made a discount. I like when the hotel is taking the side of the customer. I liked the room design and atmosphere of the place.

Through booking the hotel was advertised with free parking, for Florence parking is a problem so this was one of the reasons I choose the hotel. Than I received a message after registration and payment that parking is payed separately. The car was delayed with 30 minutes but the hotel made a discount. Door access after 2000 is with a code, there was a confusion one of the nights with the guests that entered wrong password and we had to stay outside for another 20 minutes. Breakfast was very strangely organized. Combination of Swiss table, something organized and to choose . Seemed little bit chaotic, I am not a breakfast type but if I was would be little bit disappointed.

Very clean. Loved the decor. The breakfast area was very cosy and quite a chique design. Loved that it overlooked the river. Really liked it here and was definitely recommend. A bit pricey given that it is not strictly in the centre and no other amenities but it was the perfect area for us (didn’t want to be in the busy part) and it is a lovely and short walk to the centre.

Would have been nice to have a small fitness area but I understand it is a boutique style hotel so perhaps appropriate not to.

This hotel enjoys an excellent location, with a pleasant 15-minute riverside stroll taking you to the city center. The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking. The staff was not only friendly but also extremely helpful, especially when it came to arranging parking. Our rooms were consistently spotless, and they were cleaned daily as per our request. The bathroom provided a touch of luxury, and the shower experience was superb. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, while the room's design provided a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploration. What truly surprised me was the breakfast; it offered a wide array of options. There was no need to venture out to a fancy breakfast restaurant; it was conveniently located on our floor, featuring high-quality and incredibly delicious choices.

Everything was absolutely fantastic; I couldn't find a single negative aspect.

The staff was exceptional. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There was no TV, which didn't matter to me might might to some. Comfortable beds, window with a view, nice hot showers in a clean bathroom, lots of breakfast options in a comfortable lounge area, very safe and quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the action, etc. Staff was very helpful about having a taxi arranged for my airport ride. Everything was top notch. Highly recommended.

So adorable! This hotel is fairly on the new side and has a chic/modern feel to it. The layout seemed to be well thought through and it has been beautifully decorated. My room was just enough space for one person. The location is far enough away from all the noise but close enough to quickly get to the action. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was #1 compared to the other hotels I stayed in during my time in Italy. I would definitely return for another stay here if I am ever back in Florence.

My room was hot. However this seemed to be a theme is many of the hotels in Italy during my stay. My time at this hotel was during a holiday so there was a delay in getting the air in the rooms fixed due to some businesses being closed. I’m sure the management team fixed this issue expeditiously once the holiday was over.

Lovely boutique hotel on the river. Room was very spacious with ample storage space. Bathroom was lovely with a big shower. Nightly turndown service was a nice touch. Breakfast was plentiful, offering pastries and yoghurts as well as a good choice of cooked options (much better than any breakfast I’ve had at other small hotels I’ve stayed in before). The staff were extremely helpful throughout our entire stay.
