This property is in an excellent location. It looks over the fish market and harbour. I loved opening the shutters wide open in the morning to let the light in and see the fishermen being in their trawlers and negotiating seafood. it’s beautiful to see how the locals live and this room helped us get a glimpse into their lifestyle. The room itself transports you into an elegant and mysterious time warp. Its dark and moody and ultra elegant. Enough space for my family of two adults and two teenagers. Also a bonus is the roof top terrace

The main hotel is quite far so remember to ring ahead of time to meet the host or you’ll be waiting in the street

Extremely tentative and kind staff, quick to respond to our questions. Beautifully decorated room with fabulous rooftop terrace. Comfortable bed and quiet airconditioning. Best breakfast we’ve had so far on our trip. We were very hesitant after reading Google reviews but had an amazing experience.

Note that you will need to park your car in the port area (5min walk).

the common roof terrace could have at least a chair or 2 for guests to sit and enjoy the view; the hotel could have a name/sign outside identifying it - when we arrived we thought the hotel didn’t exist!

Our room far exceeded expectations. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. Location was central to everything! The bed was also incredibly comfy. Couldn't ask for more!

The room doors are quite thin, so when other guests are in the hallway they are very loud! But this wasn't a massive issue as we didn't stay in the room for most of the day.

We didn’t realise there were multiple properties in gallipoli and we weren’t actually staying at the location we had booked. Wasn’t a huge deal, but a bit confusing when we were trying to check in.

The breakfast was very good. The palazzo presto where the breakfast or dinner is being served is very nice. Stylish nicely renovated. I would recommend to sleep there instead! It was very clean. Stuff was very helpful.

The breakfast was in another building, 5 minutes by foot. We only heard about this when we arrived at the property. In our building there was no possibility to even have a Coffee. The view was disappointing. We looked on a parking lot, which is not very charming. On the photos taken you see the sea only which gave us a wrong impression. The street was also extremely noisy, even with the windows closed.

The hotel and room was super stylish and had great facilities. Great location to explore the old town.

There was no Iron in the room or available via the hotel. Breakfast is located in sister hotel which was not clear when booking. The hot breakfast portions were small.

If Gallipoli is the pearl of Salento, then Palazzo Presta is the pearl of Gallipoli. A stay in this accommodation is a wonderful experience from beginning to end. You can immediately see that clever minds have thought about every detail. Art and aesthetics mixed with travel relics, let the guest participate in a magical world. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and responsive to every request. The bar and food are of the highest quality. We highly recommend everyone to visit this hotel.
