We only stayed in Gallipoli for one night, but it was very pleasant! This palazzo was in a great location, and our room was very spacious — we almost wished we stayed for longer because of the lovely private courtyard off the bedroom! The hosts were very kind and even allowed us to keep our luggage at their property after checkout so we could go out for lunch before catching a later train. It's very close to the sea and the vibrant, colorful center — but you can also find some wonderful side streets with a calmer vibe :)

The bed was a bit stiff and squeaky, and we had some initial trouble with keys, but nothing major. Of course, this has nothing to do with the property, but fair warning: Getting to Gallipoli's old town when arriving by train is a bit tougher than it looks :) This is a great property – highly recommended!

The property was very beautiful. A stunning palazzo with original tiled floors and high ceilings. Our room was the suite and was very large and airy with two beautiful balconies overlooking the garden. There was brilliant air cndioning and a fridge. The bathroom was a good size. Good quality towels were provided and changed. The room and whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The location was superb, very near the sea and beach as well as the cathedral and old town. It was wonderfully peaceful and the tranquility was magical. Breakfast was superb , served by two delightful ladies everyday in a beautiful room.There was a vast selection of sweet and savoury items. Coffee every day was excellent. Andrea looked after us throughout our stay and was incredibly attentive, helpful and charming. He made all arrangements smooth and easy. Everything was perfect! A huge thank you to the staff who were so kind and helpful. They made the stay extra special.

A beautiful old building in the heart of the old city with very friendly and helpful staff and a lot of charm. We had private access to a roof with good views though it was was too hot to sit there during our stay. Breakfast was the best with a variety of delicious local traditional food (all cold) and great coffee in an elegant dining room

We knew it would be a long walk from the nearest public parking so were prepared for that. It was more uphill than we expected. Some older people might find the quite steep internal stairs off-putting. We found a free parking spot with some good luck and also guidance in messages from the property staff. But we might have faced several euros overnight parking payment otherwise

A must stay in Gallipoli, a very big Palazzo with high walls and all you can expect of it. The junior suite was very spacious with many windows and a very good feeling. towels and toiletries were included, as well as beach towels. Plenty of information available for us in the room. Andrea, the host was very kind and friendly. Amazing breakfast with several options and fresh fruit, gluten-free option and vegan options upon request. The Lady preparing breakfast has been super nice and friendly. Always a plus.

Beautiful building, well kept, very nice hosts, superb location

Location in the old town means that there is no parking - the closest is in the port, and this is normally full, hence no spaces guaranteed. Although this is not the fault of the hotel, it should have been explained very clearly at the time of booking - to avoid a 20min walk with luggage under scorching sun. Also, it could be a good idea to have a map with the various “shortcuts” to go to the different parts of the town.

Palazzo Zacà is an amazing old style building in the heart of old Gallipoli. Exquisitely decorated. We enjoyed the suite on the top floor with private access to the top terrace. Breathtaking 360 degree view on Gallipoli and the sea. Staff was extremely helpful. Communication was so smooth and they arranged for an early check-in. Breakfast was beyond expectations, fresh, local and tasty. Highly recommended.

Location is superb! Great classic Italian interior! The roof top terrace is also excellent.

Quite some things are missing in the room itself. No coat rack, no glasses, no trash bin. Too bad there wasn't a coffee machine. And 2 eur for a little bottle of water in the refrigirator is outrageous.......

Beautiful, very large room. Clean and in very good condition. The bed was comfortable, drying rack for beach towels and cossies on the balcony (towels supplied). Tasty breakfast with excellent cappuccino. Easy walk from the port with luggage, but parking is challenging. Host very helpful.

Breakfast (and the lady that cooked it) was great. I had burrata and cherry tomatoes, croissants pastries and more

Really the only thing was the wifi wasn’t consistent in the room and would drop out It worked better in the reception lounge area

All the staff were amazing especially Daniele at reception who was more than helpful in providing information, he couldn’t do enough for us 👏 Fantastic accommodation, great location, great breakfast. Had a fabulous stay.
