The location was fabulous and the owners just incredibly helpful. Full of information and fascinating stories about Nervi. Owner even called restaurant for us to make a booking. Was made to feel so welcome. Room was beautiful in a quiet street. Everything so close. went on some great trails nearby and saw so much wildlife. Best stay ever x

Everything, The place is run by a incredibly nice couple that go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The Locanda is seven minutes walk from the railwaystation. It’s a lovely place in a quiet neighborhood in lovely little Nervi, good air con, nice outdoor area for zipping wine in the evening (or anytime of the day for that matter)and a breakfast that really is the icing on the cake….Yeah you could get cakes, in fact they baked them and had them ready every morning ( italians do need their dolce in the morning, personally I have never understood that, but when in Italy do as the …BUT and this is a first .. after sixteen straight summers in Italy spending time in B&B s … egg and bacon. They actually made it, and not just made it, they nailed it Thank you.

Nothing, could have written more about how much we enjoyed the place and Nervi, like for instance the fantastic Promenade Anita Garibaldi and the port of Nervi and the little beach in Capolungo, but I stop here an just say, why do people go with the masses to Portofino when … well, you get the idea

Not lot to say The hosts are exceptionally great. Really kind people and helpful. Service largely over anyone expectations. The breakfast is : what you want, you get. Just ask. One nice thing unexpected : a garage place for the car. And free of service !!

Maybe the TV is too small...but are you there to watch TV ?

We would give this place 100 stars if we could. Everything was perfect and the hosts were so helpful, kind and friendly. The room was very nice, the bed was perfect, the breafast was absolutely delicious. Matteo went out of his way to help park our car in a secure space and take us to it in the morning. His wife was so sweet and accommodating for our late arrival due to some train delays. This is one of the best B n Bs we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much for a warm welcome to Italy ❤️

Very Kind Staff.

Situated in a nice quiet part of Genoa. The small town was quiet but still lots of people enjoying the local wine bars etc. The town was beautiful with all the lights everywhere (not sure wether it's because it's Christmas). There is the promenade but sadly as much as i wanted to have a walk down there i was only there a long weekend so went to Genoa and portofino and santa margherita instead on the train (Station being around a 5 min walk from the property) The property was gorgeous, very typical Italian. I think it has 5 guestrooms. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. Rooms cleaned everyday and the hosts ensured everything was perfect for you. Breakfast consisted of home made cakes, tea, coffee, espresso, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, and would gladly knock up an omlette for you etc..also great at giving you local advice and nothing too much trouble for them both. The grounds were beautiful with lemon trees and olive trees growing around the property. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay here very much Hosts were very friendly and helpful and gave us great advice to enable us to make the most of our short stay. Nervi is a great area to stay and we were glad we chose this over the city centre. Villa is in quiet location but within easy walk of the sea, train station and bars and restaurants. Our room was comfortable, clean and we slept very well here. Would certainly return if we visit Genoa again.

Well appointed tastefully updated traditional city villa, set in a quiet barrier controlled cul de sac. Our room was consistent with a very good 3 star Italian hotel. The bed and pillows were excellent and we enjoyed breakfast. We parked right outside assisted by the owner and it felt very safe. We followed the owner’s advice for gelato and dinner.

I loved the location of Villa Moderna. Nervi is a lovely suburb of Genoa, with easy access to the centre and the feel of a small town. All services are accessible along the main road and there are beautiful parks and a long walkway along the water. Breakfast is plentiful and homemade every morning. Hosts, Seloua and Matteo are both charming and friendly. They both speak English and are happy to share recommendations for their town. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, the bed comfortable and the bathroom large and bright.

When I read the reviews I thought that maybe the guests had exaggerated, but our experience was exactly as the positive reviews. Very friendly and helpful couple who wants to do the best for their guests. You get a feeling of a warm authentic Italian family house who go over themselves to give the guests a pleasant stay. I also would like to mention that the cleanliness was really good.
