Really good location, close to the train station and also 15 minutes walking to the port. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious!

The location was great as I was later getting in from the train station and hotel was close. My room was pleasantly quiet in the night. The front staff were great. I chose the petit breakfast as I had a broken tooth and was only interested in scrambled eggs which you did not have but the full breakfast looked good. The pillow was a bit firm but ok and the bed was firm but ok. The room was clean. I was pleased the a/c worked well.

I was missing a do not disturb sign as I did not need room cleaned for just two nights but I believe one was out on after I mentioned it.

The location is perfect. It is right next to La Spezia Centrale. Thanks to that, I managed to hop on the train to Manarola (only 10 minutes!) to catch the sunset right after my check in and come back just before midnight. The room's decor is stylistic, the bed is very comfy, all facilities are neat and well maintained and everything is extremely clean. I had a very sound sleep in Mary Hotel and therefore I had wonderful time in Cinque Terra next day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a comfy stay and sound sleep at affordable price for your Cinque Terra trip. I'm a very happy guest. I might as well share about this hotel on my blog about Cinque Terra. I will be definitely stay here if I ever come back to explore Cinque Terra again.

I picked this hotel only for its proximity to the train station and affordability but was pleasantly surprised with much more! I stayed in a double room for my first few nights which was spacious and very clean. They even have smart tvs w/ Netflix! When I decided to stay another night, I switched to a single, which was smaller but still spacious and had a better shower! All the staff are very kind and helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again!

-it was a bit hard to shower in the Double room because the water would leak out get everywhere in the bathroom

The staff was very nice, and the breakfast was very good. We loved the pancakes. The hotel is very close to the train station which makes it perfect for a Cinque Terre trip. It was also close to the center with many restaurant options.

There was no free parking nearby, and the hotel was located in a timed parking area which was not useful to park the whole day. No place to load or unload our luggage as it's located by a very busy main street. The staff recommended us a free parking place, almost 15 min walk, but didn't mention the parking by the station (1 min walk), although we didn't mind paying.

Buffet breakfast is 5€ and good value too, lovely fresh pastries and a range of Italian style breakfast options. Location was amazing and so convenient for getting to and from the central train station, would definitely recommend for short stays as an easy go to and from Cinque Terre. Reception is staffed 24/7 and they were happy to hold our bags free of charge whilst we went about our day after checkout

Could hear a bit of noise through the neighbouring rooms, not very well sound proofed but didn’t keep us awake as we were all so tired from our day trip!

We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, so no comments on this. But 30 m far away from the hotel there is absolutely perfect restaurant Bistro Mercedes. Absolutely perfect location and price / quality ratio. Recommend for everyone! Parking free of charge. We were with 3 cars and got free of charge parking for all of them. Stuff very helpful!

Truly exceptional value. It’s a perfect landing pad for exploring the Cinque Terre. Right by the train station for easy access, and less than half the cost of a room in one of the villages. It’s not glamorous, but everything you need to be good does the job: it’s clean, comfortable, quiet, convenient, and well climate-controlled, all while being very affordable. I wish I would’ve stayed there for longer!

The location is right across the narrow road from La Spezia train station. (The photo of the hotel is taken from the train station). Owners seem to be a family, everything was nice, let us store our luggage while we waited for a room, and have us free breakfast (which has a really good selection of pastries, tea, meats, bread, fruit). Went in the last week of August so for the price (€140 for 2 people) including breakfast, air con, toiletries and a mini fridge, even a seeing kit, compared to other places and the location, is very good! Even has a lift which a lot of hotels in Italy don't seem to have!
