I LOVED this place!!! I got a little nervous when I showed up and all the doors were locked, but I sent a message on Booking app and on WhatsApp (the number was by the front door) and within 5 minutes someone showed up and let me in. He took me to my room and gave me all the info I needed. He didn’t seem to concerned about payment and check out time, and told me they’d take care of it after breakfast the next morning. Indeed we did. Everyone was nice in the morning and breakfast was decent. The location is great! Right in the old town and had a wonderful time walking around knowing my room was right there if I needed it. My room was also huge! I think I lucked out, but I had an entire apartment to myself. Beautiful stone rooms. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Casa Mamma Elvira is in a prime location in Lecce. The room was very clean, the hosts were very friendly and provided all kind of recommendations of what to do in Lecce and around! And the breakfast… golden!! Fresh fruits, fresh pastries, great coffee to wake up!!! They do a great job making sure you feel at home away from Home. Location is great and very close to one of the piazzas that have great restaurants! I’m pretty sure we will be back to Lecce and stayed at Casa Mamma Elvira!

Casa Mamma Elvira was perfect! We had to make a last-minute booking as our previous b&b canceled and they were very accommodating. Great communication before arriving and easy check-in and check-out process. The breakfast was amazing-- different cakes and pastries every day, fresh fruit and juices, coffee made to order... divine! The room was immaculate and spacious with everything we needed and the team was super helpful in answering any questions we had. The location was an easy walk to anywhere in the old city. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was friendly and welcoming and our room with two bedrooms was nice to have for our family to spread out. The combined washing machine/dryer was super helpful as we were in the middle of a multi-week trip in southern Italy. Location was super and convenient.

After travelling throughout Puglia, breakfast was a little underwhelming, but certainly sufficient and nice to have.

it was beautifully decorated. quiet, rooms were exceptional. the breakfast area was also gorgeous and breakfast was typically European. great coffee. the staff ( the two ladies) were so helpful and accommodating quietly spoken.

Great location, many restaurants and bar around, right near Sant'Oronzo square, few steps away from Duomo and all the other attractions from old city. Very clean and spacious apartment, with very comfortable beds. If you arrive by car, make sure you booked a parking place in their underground parking, as it could be difficult to find a free parking place in the area. For us, the parking was a big plus, even if it had an extra price (10 euros per day). Breakfast served at their restaurant was varied and enough for everyone. The staff was very helpful and available. We would definitely return here with pleasure.

Breakfast was good, well set out. They made sure there was gluten free food for me. Plenty of food, cereals, fruit, ham, cheese bread, cakes etc. They always gave service with a smile.

just to be aware there are no elevators and stairs are steep (it’s a beautiful old palace), also our bathroom was quite tiny.

near the old town we got to the accomodation a little early and as we were waiting were offered a complimentary beer which was so welcome would recommend this accomodation so clean and hosts so great the breakfast was also amazing

Very welcoming atmosphere on the side of the owners. The room was clean and spacious. Amazing cappuccino, home made tarts and selection of local cheese for breakfast.
