The room was absolutely stunning, maybe the most beautiful and unusual hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were just so lovely and accommodating, they were very respectful asking if we wanted to speak in English or Italian so that we could practise, and were generous with their time, two of the loveliest ladies ever we spoke to on reception. The room was absolutely spotless and so comfortable and spacious, the outdoor bath in our room was also an amazing experience, and I cannot even begin to describe how delicious and generous the breakfast was - we didn't need to eat anything else all day. They even left a gorgeous bottle of wine for our anniversary. This definitely deserves 5 stars, one of the most beautiful and unique places ever.

Cannot fault a single thing

A stunning historical hotel, right in the middle of Lecce. We absolutely adored having a drink on the roof. The staff were incredibly friendly and hardworking. We took a day trip from Lecce to a beach club on the west coast of Salento - highly recommended! We also used the hotel's valet service, which was appreciated greatly, although a little expensive.

A more inviting bar area or facilities on the rooftop would have made our experience more enjoyable. Carrying glasses of wine and snacks up the stairs wasn't ideal. I also asked the staff ahead of time to make some birthday arrangements (simple, small things like writing on his plate at breakfast) for my husband, which unfortunately were forgotten.

Our stay at Pollicastro Boutique Hotel was a decadent and very special treat. The building itself is incredible with many historic features and the artwork displayed therein absolutely breath taking and beautiful. The rooms are stunning and modern with wonderful decadent touches and the roof terrace spectacular over looking the old city of beautiful Lecce. The breakfasts are sublime, fresh and delicious. The crowning feature of our stay were the staff who were just lovely, so helpful and looked after us to make our stay at the Pollicastro Boutique Hotel so very special. We would love to come back to stay again. Thank you for everything!

it is not clear from the profile that the pool is local to a single room, and not shared, we were disappointed to find that there is no pool to use unless you book the most expensive room

it’s a gorgeous hotel located in the center of Lecce. we had a King Suit, the room sits in a baroque white stone building. it is very spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, modern. there are many outlets for your electronic devices. balcony overlook a white stone walking street. Staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is beautiful and delicious. They are served in 4 different plates, felt like we were having a four course meals I have travelled to more than 30 different countries and stayed in many 4-5 star hotels and can say that this is one of the best hotels.

The location of the hotel was in the city centre & in close proximity to the main sights. The breakfast was presented in an original way - you ordered one of 4 breakfasts. It was too much food for us. However it was of a very high standard and delicious. The room was exceedingly well appointed. The hotel had a wonderful ambiance. We loved the owners art that filled the hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful.

We would prefer a buffet breakfast so we avoid over eating!

Great location in the old centre with a very useful valet car parking service. Our room was a deluxe double on the top floor with direct access out onto the roof terrace. It was huge, with an enormous, circular free standing bath and beautiful furnishings. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was much appreciated. We also need to mention the multi-course breakfasts, which are wonderful and a great way to set you up for a day of sightseeing in Lecce.

I was hoping to enter a score greater than 10 because this hotel was simply sensational. It was our hotel for six nights during the week we got married. We had the rooftop room with a bath on the private balcony (which we thoroughly enjoyed on two occasions!) You will get used to passers-by stopping in front of the entrance of the hotel to take pictures because it is that special. This was run by a collection of staff who I am happy to declare as the greatest collection of people working in a hotel I have ever encountered. Special mention goes to Tania for her warm and friendly greeting every morning at breakfast and for explaining everything that we were about to eat. There was a bottle of wine in the room upon arrival and we were also allowed a bottle of prosecco very late one evening on the rooftop. The room was immaculately cleaned every morning and neatly turned down every evening. It was very hot while we were there but the air-con handled it perfectly. If you visit during the summer season like us, you’ll be woken up by a wonderful gentleman playing the piano on the streets below. This 6-night stay re-defined hotel perfection for us and we’ll be coming back for many years to come. Grazie mille

Amazing location in the middle of town, beautiful room (we had the one with the round bed) and a nice roof terrace to relax on. The hotel interior is stunning. Well worth a visit.

One of the more expensive in Lecce and the breakfast was a little hard to comprehend. You select from a menu the day before but it's unclear what you're getting unless you memorized the menu. Both days I didn't receive everything listed (but there was plenty of food)

The location is perfect. The room are unique and well designed. The valet service for the car is great considering the hotel being in a restricted car zone. The entrance of the hotel is beautiful. The staff was very nice. The breakfast options is something unique.

I believe that what is missing is clearly a swimming pool considering the 35 degrees outside it would have being enjoyable.
