As central as it can get - just around the corner of cathedral in the middle of old town. The apartment and the room were newly and very well renovated (quality!). Room design was appreciated. AC worked well, WIFI was okay. The breakfast was partly served and partly self service and a lot for italian style. The had very good coffee and Donna Teresa was very kind and friendly!

As central as it can get in old town - meaning just next to bars and restaurant - so have your earplugs ready. It was self check in - which worked well and communication before check in worked very well. The mattress could have been a bit less soft. Be aware of 2 flights of stairs.

First of all the host Gabriele it’s incredibly kind, attentive and welcoming. Also Rossella it’s so sweet and friendly. The check-in went really smooth as Gabriele provided all the necessary details. The room was super nice, big and clean. Loved the sheets were so fine, the bed and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and had anything that you need. I also had breakfast included, there were sufficient options to choose from, but I opted only for a croissant and a cappuccino and they were really good. The location is good, it’s close to restaurants, attractions (e.g. 3 min by foot to the Dome, 6-7 min by foot to the city gates, 5-10 min by foot to any cathedral/church/point of interest) and train station (8-9 min by foot). It could be noisy on a week-end night (I arrived Sunday) but if you want to stay central this would have happened anywhere, so for me this was not bothering.

We liked basically everything. The location is perfect in the heart of the old city of Lecce; the self check in procedure is smooth and easy, the breakfast was a good Italian style breakfast: coffee and orange juice, croissant and some buns, and yoghurts, and smaller stuff as a buffet. We understood that more could be requested (maybe for additional money) but we never needed it, and the staff was happy to make coffee and yoghurts lactose-free. During breakfast we also felt a very welcoming Italian atmosphere, as if we were having a family breakfast (yea though not understanding much from the ongoing conversation 😅). The staff was there all the time, either personally or available via WhatsApp, and it truly felt that they want to make our stay better. It was also maybe the cleanest place we ever stayed: the floor was cleaned (like, really cleaned) every day and we felt comfortable walking in the room barefoot. Our room was upgraded to a jacuzzi suite, and the cool jacuzzi was perfect to relax the body after a day of walking in the old city.

The only thing is that it was actually quite hot. The weather app was showing between 35 and 37 C as the day max temperature in Lecce during our stay, and while the a/c was on all the time, including when we were away, during the night it would still get to maybe 26 degrees in the room, and well above 30 in the bathroom (well according to feeling). We think this is because the room is straight under the roof getting all the heat from the sun, but yea the a/c wasn’t really fully able to keep up with that temperature.

Charming , stylishly decorated guest house with attention to detail. From the online check in process to check out , the process was seamless. The staff were wonderful. Helpful , engaging and friendly. Rooms were well equipped and very clean . Easy access to restaurants and main attractions which are literally on the doorstep , yet the guest house is quiet and peaceful offering a great nights rest ( the bed was super comfortable). Good breakfast in the morning prepares you for the day ! Truly lovely experience with warm and friendly staff . Would not stay elsewhere in Lecce.

There was nothing to not like !!!! The guest house exceeded expectations.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Sibila room. + Very spacious apartment and bathroom + Comfortable bed and pillows + Staff super friendly, helpful and responsive + The location is perfect to visit the main turistic areas and main restaurants (short walking distance) Parking can be a bit tricky, but the staff gives good recommendations. We parked all 3 days at 'Via Manifattura Tabacchi' which was an approx 450m walk to the B&B (depending on where on the street you park). Parking between 9am/9pm costs ~0.60eur/h. We used the car every day and used a different parking spots on the same street. Best to visit there with luggage not too heavy. There are a couple of stairs to the rooms, but no big deal at all. Eventhough locations is very central we were not bothered by noise. No fridge available in the room but possible to use their fridge upon request.

Breakfast could be improved. Good options of fruits but it does not include ham/cheeses (which is only available at 10 eur/person).

Loved absolutely everything about my stay at Donna Teresa. I stayed 2 nights in two different rooms(normal&suite) and it was fabulous. The location is brillant: on a main street but no issues with noise. The rooms; accommodated to every last detail & in Lecce style - truly authentic. Breakfast is delicious, varied and qualitative. You discuss your preferences and everything will be ready in the morning in the cute little dining room. The staff: a family affair & they are the cherry on top of everything; they are very kind, professional and quick to answer any questions or request you have. Gabrielle recommended me multiple restaurants according to my likings - it was perfect. They were also flexible to adapt to many requests. La nonna was so charming and was always there to greet you in the morning with a fresh breakfast. They are truly going the extra mile to create a perfect stay. I could not recommend this place more - everything is a dream.

Great location, on a beautiful central street packed with stores and restaurants. Lovely room, extremely clean and cosy, fully equiped with all you needed. Owners were very helpful, friendly and responsive. Easy check in, with detailed explanations sent. The communication with the owner was very good. The spot was great to visit the city center and offered all the comodities. We had a lovely stay and I recommend it.

Everything was just fine.

Very clean and nice cosy room. Easy access, very central. Walking distance to everything you need to see in Lecce. Many bars and restaurants nearby. Very responsive host and a nice breakfast that we very much appreciated. I can recommend!

The only negative part is that it is impossible to sleep due to the noise from the bar below that on Thursday hosted loud guest until 1am. If you book this b&b bring a good pair of earplugs.

Centrality & cleanliness. Friendly, welcoming and helpful breakfast & cleaning staff. Good bathroom.

Narrow double bed with uncomfortable foam mattress . Noise & same repetitive vintage American music from bars in street below every night until midnight. Noise from the communal entrance. It was possible to sleep only by closing all windows. Discouraging, neglected entrance courtyard and communal steps up.

The property provided breakfast was a lovely typical Italian breakfast with a great selection. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was large and bright and the bathroom was large, with an amazing shower. The location of the property was amazing.

The self check in process was a bit confusing and it took us a couple minutes to find our room. There is also no elevator and it is located on the second floor up some steep stairs which was a little difficult with luggage.
