The hotel is a beautiful old hotel with lovely original features. It is very well located , very near to the old town. The room ( a suite) was lovely, with very good air con and big bathroom. The staff were really helpful, especially Veronica one of the breakfast team who went out of her way to be friendly and helpful. The pool and sun loungers were also really good and welcome after a day in the heat!

The breakfast included a lot of choice but this didn’t change at all during the week. Food was ok but not the best we have had. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel.

Great location within 100 yards of station and just a short walk into the historic centre Impressive grand hotel with excellent communal areas including attractive gardens and a swimming pool Helpful friendly staff - we had a late flight home and they arranged a late check out and allowed us to use the pool area until we were ready to go Excellent buffet style breakfast served by friendly staff who were also at hand if you wanted drinks at the pool area

Good location very close to train station - Lecce can be explored by foot. However, it is an old building. Very friendly staff, could also leave our luggage. Very good and wide choice of breakfast. (Better coffee eg. cappuccino were brought to the table on request.) Nice breakfast room. We were on 2nd floor looking to a side street, not loud. The beds were very comfortable. I really liked the quiet patio with swimming pool and sunbeds, nice plants and palm trees. In the lobby was a machine where you could buy mineral water and small snacks (I appreciated it).

The carpets on the corridors were outworn. But in the room everything was ok. WiFi did work very good - but you had to give your data Online for the access.

Incredibly efficient check in with a lovely girl who was helpful about the hotel and facilities. Loved the interior and old grandeur style of the place, it's stunning. Beautiful pool and bar area. Amazing location not even a 5 minute walk to the train station. Breakfast was amazing loads of variety among the food served. Rooms are super clean and spacious. Slippers and lovely fluffy towels. Will definitely stay again. I noticed in reviews people moaning about the carpets and decor. Yeah it is worn but won't affect your stay. The hotel is fab.

Excellent hotel! Phenomenal location. You can walk to the old town, or you can walk 2min to the train station and visit other destinations. Staff was VERY kind and friendly(thank you all) Breakfast was very decent, and we enjoyed it, and the excellent coffee made by staff. There is an option to use hotels garage( +15€ per night,but WELL WORTH it! You will need to leave the car keys with reception though) Rooms were excellent ,very tall ceilings and nicely decorated.Beds very comfy . Bathroom was great with jacuzzi bath..

Hotel in great location between station and old town. Large room and bathroom slightly faded from original glory, but very comfortable. Great breakfast and restaurant space and area outside great to sit and eat in. Walking around the nearby old town is fascinating.

General decor of hotel slightly faded from its glory days, but still feels special fitting its status on the promenading street. On street parking sometimes hard to find.

The room was very spacious, with a large, separate area for luggage, the minibar and safe. The price for the room was great as was the extra cost for parking.

Though staff were glad to prepare at no extra cost our cappuccino and were very charming, the breakfast was not so great. It was plentiful but mediocre, especially the “orange” and “pineapple” juice: battery acid would probably taste better. Except for watermelon and apples (in summer…), no other fruit seemed available. In Italy?!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, as it was a quick walk into the centre of Lecce and had a pool. I will say that the facilities overall are a bit rundown and the hotel could use a bit of a re-paint and some new mattresses. The breakfast offering was great, with gluten free options and a nice setting.

The beds seemed really old and were quite uncomfortable for our two night stay.

The Grandeur of the hotel was awesome. The rooms and bathrooms were big, the beds were comfy and the staff was awesome.

I was charged an extra $125 at checkout after paying in full with Booking.com. I’m not sure what it was for, since it said Bed and Breakfast, but I paid it.

Size of the room and location is very good. The decorations are old but looking highly authentic. Breakfast is good and also the pool area was very nice.

Room number 219 had a very bad smell in the bathroom. We did not request a room change but inform the hotel personnel about the bad smell. I hope they will repair in a short time period. The towels need to be renew, quite old and hard.
