I have never received such a delicious and complex breakfast in any of the places I have stayed. Sweet and savory tarts, delicious fresh fruit, local products, all in very good quality and very nicely presented. Even the water was in a nice glass dispenser, infused with lemons. And you get to enjoy this lovely breakfast outside, in the interior courtyard of this old building, which is just great. Dora and Mauro are lovely hosts, very friendly. There is a rooftop terrace which is great in the warm summer evenings. The ceilings are very high, which means it doesn't get too hot in the summer, but AC is also available. Our bathroom was huge :) The location is central, in the historic part of Lecce, the streets nearby are like la labyrinth, we just loved walking in the area.

The bed mattress in our room was not comfortable and probably needs to be changed, or maybe the mattress support needs to be fixed, not sure.

Absolutely wonderful historic property with stunning rooms that really are more like suites. We were warmly greeted and looked after during our stay. You will get to experience a delicious and generous breakfast in the courtyard full of flowers. Excellent location for exploring beautiful Lecce. We loved our stay at the Palazzo so much, it’s a very special place!

The only thing that we found to be a very minor negative, was that the mattress was a bit hard for our preference. This would in no way change our opinion about highly recommending Palazzo Salia.

We are so so happy we stayed here. Mauro is very friendly and kind. I am learning italian so my italian is not perfect, but he was very patient with me. The breakfast has lots of variety and you can enjoy it in the little inner courtyard. The location is also very convenient as it is close to both the train station and the city center. Our room was quite spacious and clean. The bathroom was huge. Overall, we felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in the door. If we ever visit Lecce again, this is definitely the place we’d come.

Our room was on the second floor. The owner was very helpful and carried our luggage to our room. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The location was perfect with lots of restaurants and shopping areas nearby.

There was nothing I disliked. The weather was very warm when we were there. A small fridge would have been appreciated in the room to keep our drinking water cool.

To be in the heart of lLecce could be enoguh, but there's something more: Palazzo Salia is a quiet place that offer a very good Km0-homemade breakfast. What a Gem of a place, Dora & Mauro keep their B&B clean, welcoming and aesthetically delightful. Behind a large door situated a few seconds from all the hustle & bustle of the old town lies this treat. You have the bonus of everything around you but peace and tranquillity you need to recharge to continue your stay in wonderful Lecce. Everything is thought out well designed with beautiful rustic & contemporary pieces. A large breakfast area leads out to a beautiful courtyard to enjoy your morning breakfast or just relax and enjoy the evening. The breakfasts are full and varied catering to all needs from cereals, cheese tomato and salami or ham, and toast. Teas and coffees, juices and yoghurt and nuts. Also is a selection of pastries and a tart which either Dora or Mauro make, it's your choice who's to prefer it was a close call personally, think Dora had the edge 😉. The room I had was very big and would be large for two, comfortable bed with good AC and overall space, I loved the chapel-like ceiling very nice. There was a Wardrobe and desk area which was helpful for me as had some work to do. The bathroom again was very large with a bath and a shower head with good, strong flowing hot water. I was on the first floor a spiral staircase led up from the courtyard. so I had a nice view in the evening with the twinkling lights and plants below. Also not to be missed, if you continue up the staircase on another floor there is a large terrace area, with solar lights in the evening, this is lovely looking either over rooftops or at the sky catching a nice breeze is perfect. You may even be visited by their friendly cats, who chill out Let me add that the spiral staircase is large and solid in case you think otherwise and no problems feeling secure. Everyone at this B&B is friendly, inviting and warm. There's no problem communicating and getting advice all communication I had were responsive using booking.com messaging when needed.

Mauro was an exceptional host. Our train was delayed until the late hours and he went out of his way to accommodate us and our late arrival. The hotel was lovely (high ceilings with painted frescos, a beautiful courtyard to enjoy a drink or breakfast and just a great vibe, even from fellow hotel dwellers). The breakfast was great with loads of homemade charm and kids are welcomed here.

Palazzo Salìa was so charming and fantastic . Mauro and Dora were incredibly welcoming and took great care to make sure I was having a good time in Lecce, they are wonderfully friendly and run a great spot. Homemade tarts in the morning were a nice additional touch!!

Nothing at all, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Palazzo Salia is conveniently located between the train/bus station and the city centre, everything is within a few minutes’ walking distance. The room and bathroom was very spacious, impeccably clean and had all amenities for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet is delicious with choices of sweet and savoury food and you can enjoy it outside in the beautiful, quiet courtyard. Last but not least, the host are lovely, very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this place and would come back on my next visit to Lecce.
