Excellent location just outside the city walls, and an easy flat walk into the centre or to the railway station for good connections to Pizza. Also a good choice of restaurants within the city close by. Lovely breakfast, served by Luca, which could be taken in the beautiful garden on fine mornings. Most attractive old villa which was easy to find, aided by excellent directions from the owners. Probably the one most important facility for us was secure parking in the courtyard for our classic car which was our reason for booking, and proved a splendid choice in every way.

Superb Host! Luca (host) is just one of his kind. Very kind and generous man. Made us a great introduction to a city of Lucca in which we stayed for about a week, told us many usefull things about the coast, Lucca tourism seasons and restaurants. We were amazed by the level of hospitality and kindness we experienced. About the apartment - super clean, spacious and quiet. Parking - just great. Breakfast in the garden - omg, it was amazing to have that every morning. Thanks so much for the stay and see you next year! We will be back for sure!

Luca was the perfect host! The B&B is what you'd expect a typical Italian villa to be like. We stayed in the balcony room which extends across the whole of the back of the house and has a coffee table and chairs overlooking the garden. Everything was thought of from extra pillows to a shoe horn and polish. We borrowed bikes to ride around the city walls and Luca even booked us a restaurant under the arches, which was sublime. The location was perfect for us, and we're so glad that we stayed just outside the city walls (less than 5 min walk). One of the best stays we've had. Thank you!

This was a last-minute decision, so no surprise that the cost of accommodation was high given it was Comics week, unbeknown to us. But whilst it was a high price that week, I believe the regular price at non-peak times would be appropriate for the location and services provided by Luca and his sister. A most gracious and accommodating host. Given our height, the bathroom was a little small, but the room was definitely a comfortable abode for the 2 nights.

We were arriving in the middle of comics week. I wish we had known as this was not my thing. So we did not see Lucca in its original form. However, the ability to rest up in the BnB was a good respite from the crowds. You need to do your homework on festivals prior to visiting a town at short notice and always be wise about escalated prices associated with this.

Luca the host did everything to ensure we had a wonderful stay in Lucca. He offered to pick us up from the station if we needed and as we were driving offered us clear directions. There was free parking available at the property also. The B&B and room itself was just incredible. So comfortable and beautifully decorated, we regret not staying longer. Luca gave us lots of great recommendations for visiting Lucca- go into the wall, trust us!!!! To finish our stay we had the most incredible breakfast in the sun of the garden prepared by Luca. We can’t wait to come back.

Great location - just 5 minutes to city walls. Easy to find, with secure car parking in rear car park. Building is beautiful and set in well cared for gardens (where we had breakfast). Loved the decor and styling, and fact that it is an old classic building. Breakfast was brilliant - huge selection to choose from. Rooms very comfortable. Great shower and room facilities. Host brilliant. Spoke good English and really helpful when it came to helping us regarding car malfunctions and dealing with the recovery mechanic.

We loved the Villa and property throughout our 6 night stay - everything was so comfortable and perfect! Breakfast choices were exceptional and Luca was very helpful (even drove us to the train station when we departed). We definitely would return if visiting Lucca again and highly recommend the Villa to anyone looking for a super clean, comfortable and elegant B&B within a short walk of the old city walls.

Everything was superb!

The location is fine. Since cars are not allowed inside the city walls, it is a short walk to town. The best thing about the hotel is the beautiful garden/courtyard and the private free parking. The room was spacious and well furnished. The air conditioner worked well. The breakfast was copious and tasty.

We felt uncomfortable at breakfast. Apparently, because of covid and because the breakfast room is tiny, it makes sense that the staff serves you at your table. This could have been explained in a friendly way. It was not. We felt unwelcome and timid, feeling guilty for asking for more coffee or food. Friendly welcome and friendly departure, but the breakfast atmosphere was tense and, consequently, unpleasant even though the food was good.

The location of the property is ideal. A flat 20 minute walk to the centre of Lucca. There is also on site parking. Our room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The bed was comfy and the room had adequate storage. It also had air conditioning and a drinks cooler. Luca our host could not have been more attentive and helpful. He also recommend a restaurant (Giulio) which was so good we ate there on both nights of our stay. We left very early for Pisa airport (between 40 mins and an hour away) and before breakfast time. However, Luca provided us with a generous “breakfast to go” which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Luca kindly picked me up from the train station, and provided me with a warm welcome, including recommendations of where to visit in Lucca, with a detailed map. The room was large and very comfortable, nicely furnished with a nice sunny balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was substantial - such choice! Served by Lucca, choice of eating indoors or in the sunny garden. I hired a bike from the B&B for E.10./day, a great way to see the city of Lucca. Luca then took me to the train station on departure.

The location was good to get into Lucca town, but perhaps if located within the walls might have been more convenient, but the bike hire was a great service.
