Hotel Firenze is in an ideal location in the Malcesine old town. The hotel has an excellent restaurant below which is frequented by locals, and had the best Tiramisu! The restaurant also had a great children’s menu. The staff are all lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast was very good with a spread of pastries, cakes, cereals, fruits, boiled eggs, bread rolls, cheese and meats and unlimited tea/coffee. The hotel is close to all amenities, including a Eurospar for grocery shopping. The bus stop is just 100 metres away, and boats/ferries going to Limone are just a short walk away. The room was very big with air conditioning, an en suite shower, and a good sized balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains. The room was cleaned with fresh towels and linen provided daily. We had a comfortable stay and would definitely stay at Hotel Firenze again.

The location is perfect and has a small amount of free parking. Check in is easy and the breakfast was ok. The best bit is the restaurant- the food was amazing. The mixed fix and grilled mixed fish were out of this world and huge compliments to the chef

Zero soundproofing, worst one I've had so far in my travels. You can hear everyone in the hallway as if they were in your own room (plus a little bit of echo) and sounds from other rooms travel too but not as bad as directly through the door from the hallway. Then again the guests were relatively quiet during my stay so it didn't bother me too much. A mini fridge in the room would be great to cool down drinks and store some food during this heat but it wasn't an expectation from this booking.

Excellent location. Clean room with a nice AC. The staff is laid back and nice. Free pool access and parking via a sister hotel near by.

There was no fridge in the room. Very few outlets (we had to unplug the night lamps to charge our phones). No sound proofing of the room.

Everything: good location, nice people, good breakfast (nothing hot, but typically for Italia). Very good restaurant - pizza was the best. Room size could be a bit bigger, but for 2 night stay - was ok.

The Manager and Staff are friendly and very helpful nothing was too much for them to do, the food in the restaurant was great and full every night. Excellent thank you for a great time and memories 👍,

The hotel was adjacent to the pedestrian zone and a few minutes walk from the cable car and ferry. The staff was friendly. I checked in at noon and the room was ready. The room was a decent size and I had a balcony with a mountain view. I ate dinner both nights at the restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff gave me a discount since I was a hotel guest. The price of the room was far cheaper than some of the alternatives.

I did hear a bit of street noise on Saturday evening, but Sunday was quieter. Light sleepers may prefer to stay at a hotel that is not on the main road.

Great location very close the bus stop, and a quick walk into centre. A generous breakfast, and staff were very helpful allowing me yo leave luggage prior yo check-in.

There was no coffee or tea facilities in the room or water provided. More charging points could be provided.
