Old style hotel in old building with old features (eg floor tiling) carefully preserved. Large room on two levels furnished with traditional furniture (but modern mattress and bathroom fittings). Helpful and pleasant staff, reasonable breakfast.

Pedestrianization has meant parking immediately in the square is not possible (but drop off is fine), and with only two reserved bays just around the corner. No restaurant, but plenty nearby and reception recommended and booking an excellent one 100 m away.

Wonderful small hotel in a gracious historic building, upgraded to contemporary standards. We arrived on Easter weekend and the front desk managed to get us a last-minute reservation for Sunday dinner at a top restaurant, Excellent afternoon spritz with a spread of tasty bites from the bar manager, and freshly baked breads and cakes made in-house for the lavish breakfast spread. Our compliments to the cook! Really personal service from all.

Hotel Carmine is a beautiful hotel in a very old building on a small piazza in the picturesque old centre. The hotel has an old world charm without being stuffy. There is a beautiful and shady garden which was welcome in the summer heat. Everything was of a high standard. Beautiful dining room with white embroidered tablecloths The lift is a big plus.

Everything, especially that it was originally a monastery; great job in converting it. Staff were exceptional, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was delightful, and there were a lot of choices. Room was large, and A/C super. Great location. Highly recommend a stay there.

Breakfast was served in a beautiful period room, overlooking the piazza with a painted ceiling and chandler. Tables were dressed with white linen and lace tablecloths. Breakfast was an appetising selection of cereals, juices, cooked meats cheeses, salads, breads, fruit, home baked cakes, tea, fresh coffee of choice etc.

The restoration of the monastery is impressive the archways, ceilings, and beautiful tiled floors make for a very elegant building. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable the outside balcony overlooking the garden was very relaxing. The location is perfect for walking around Masala. The location is also in a very quiet side street making sleeping a very pleasant experience. Lastly, the staff was extremely helpful.

A beautiful building; old club convent lovingly and skillfully renovated. Beautiful spaces. Lobby/sitting area! Dining-room is jaw dropping. Breakfast is lovely, rich and very fresh. The croissants are out of this world. The staff are genuinely forthcoming. Thank you for your hospitality. Excellent location.

Atmospheric and calm. The room was clean, airy and comfortable. the bathroom was lovely, equipped with everything my family needed. the welcome Marsala drink was a great touch. Excellent breakfast and warm, helpful staff rounded off a terrific stay in lovely lovely Marsala!

we had a faulty air con which made a noise and then cut out but it ain’t too hot in the night anyway. the staff addressed the issue as soon as we notified them

Well preserved converted convent with a lovely garden.

The glass floor on the second floor. It was there to protect the ceramic tile floor below but it would have been easy to mis step and fall. A small ” mind the step” sign is needed.

Beautiful palace with precious furniture and many areas to enjoy the hotel. amazing breakfast. welcome drink. great location and very nice staff.

Micro shower and downstairs table just under the stairs. Stairs were very nice sturdy but the step were a little to high for an average leg height.
