The hotel is a charm, strategically located close to a transport hub from/to the airport shuttle, the bus/tram to Venice (being way more affordable than staying in the island, but still very accessible) and to other parts of town. Building and facilities are new, beautiful and well maintained. They have elevators if you need and the dorm was spacious and nice. Bathroom/shower divisions in the dorm were very nice with an additional sink inside the room and a bidet in the bathroom. Beddings were clean and they provide a bath towel AND a face towel (first time ever that I see this in over 50 hostels I've been in) and they exchanged them for my second night. The lockers were card-activated so no need of padlocks. Staff was also very helpful and friendly.

If anything, half of my dorm mates in the first night who were snoring so hard that they kept me up till 2 in the morning. It made me want to put a towel in their mouths and kill them on their sleep. Jokes. On the second night a bit of an unthoughtful one talking on the phone while everyone was sleeping. This one I scolded on the spot.. Nothing about the hotel :) it was perfect. :)

Excellent location near the bus and train station. Perfect for staying away from expensive area of Venice. There are also some good shops in the area, such as Spar. The hostel itself is very modern and fresh and even feels like a few levels above what hostels supposed to be. The rooms are beautifully designed and also very functional. There are showers as you would expect, but there is also a bidet which is quite uncommon I would say. There is an option to choose a separate bed, which I think is a superior option to bunk beds in my opinion, this is what I went with and would highly recommend ! The place is very quiet I am so surprised that I wasn't able to hear anyone during the night, it's like nobody was there. The only thing I could hear were trains coming through few times during the night, but it wasn't that loud. There is also a common area and shared kitchen and all of these were used quite extensively during my stay by the guests. Breakfast was not included, but I did try it (for 10 Eur) and I think it was a solid option, with plenty of protein choices, fruits, and excellent croissants ! Towels are also included and bed sheets were already set, this is such a great thing to have when you come late at night ! And they also have a washing area, that you can use to wash and dry your clothes. There is also a functioning ventilation system. While it's not air conditioning, during the hot days, the air coming through was cooler and since it was circulating during the night, it helped with having a better quality of sleep and not feeling so hot and sticky during the night without it.

There was nothing for me to really complain about here, I couldn't find a single fault. Maybe the towels didn't have a hook to hang them with, but that's about it.

Easy check-in process, information provided on what was available at the property. Clean and comfortable room. There was a gueat kitchen on the ground floor with qccess to a fridge, induction hobs, utensils. Access controlled doors after 10 pm to the main lobby and to floor level. Great location- train station and places to eat in about a 5 min walk radius. The hotel also had a bar serving alcoholic drinks till 2am and a 24 hour reception staff, which is great.

The air-conditioning did not work as best, occasionally felt the room was warm / hot. No access to a kettle in the room to make a hot drink - this was however available at the 'guests kitchen' on the ground floor.

Staff were incredibly friendly and spoke many languages. Rooms were spotless with modern bathrooms. Location is wonderful with being just a quick walk from the train station. With tickets in and out Venice island being about 1.50 euro each way. Beds were comfortable (best iv had in a hostel to date). If your visiting Venice, stay here. You won't regret it, truly a 10/10 🙌

I wasn't able to check in till later in the day. But the staff let me use the luggage room to store my bags as I explored the island.

We stayed 2 nights in meininger venezia hotel. The hotel is relatively new and very clean. It is few minutes walk from venezia mestre train station from which you can take a 10 minute 1 stop train to venezia santa lucia. There is a supermarket nearby and a vending machine in the lobby area. Housekeeping is upon request only but we didnt need any as it was a 2 night stay. There were also paid laundry and dryer machines. The price was considerably lower then the other nearby hotels. The front desk were very polite and very helpful and were happy to help us with anything we needed.

Please note that this is an eco-friendly hostel. The rooms didnt have a fridge, telephone, water kettle, safe or water bottles. If you needed any water bottles you have to buy them from the vending machines in the lobby. If you needed a kettle or a microwave you need to head to the kitchen located in the ground floor near the lobby but you need to use their cups as there arent any disposable paper cups. There are also 3 shared fridges in the kitchen that are emptied in different days of the week. Also, a sticker in the room stated that the room doesnt have an ac but a coil that cools the room by a maximum of 3 degrees difference than the outside temperature but the temperature during our stay was already cold so it wasnt a problem.

The bed and pillow are nice. Much appreciated there were clean towels everyday. Staff are nice and helpful too. And I met some nice roomates too :)

There are quite a few beggers and homeless people around the railway station, it makes me feel a little uncomfortable if I was going back alone at night. Unfortunately I am staying at the farest room in the corridor (rm 16). And knowing other rooms with also 4 beds have much bigger room space, 2 showers (mine only have 1), I can only say I had the worst of luck with hostel rooms.

We spent one night with a family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) in a family room (bunk beds and 2 single beds). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Noise insulation from the outside was excellent, we didn't anything from the outside despite the presence of the road and the railways close by. The check-in was smooth, the breakfast was rich and the personnel was very kind. You can walk easily to the train station. I highly recommend the place. Note: the hotel is a bit hidden from the street, behind another hotel. The taxi driver didn't know the hotel but found it thanks to Google maps.

The property was clean, tidy and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The location of the property is great and there is a bus stop right out the front.

The two single non bunk beds are very close to one another. If you are a solo female traveler, I would recommend staying in a female only dorm as you may end up in one of these beds (20cm gap between the two beds).

Bathroom and toilet are located in each room (it's not usual for my experience in hostels). There is a kitchen on the 1st floor and you don't need an own lock to close a locker in room. Around 5 minutes to Venezia Mestre railway and bus station (10 minutes to Venezia Santa Lucia and 30 minutes to the airport Marco Polo from Venezia Mestre).

It's a good idea to add curtains on the beds and make more hooks in the bathroom.

Location is great - few mins to bus and train station Venezia Mestre, good restaurants nearby. Personnel was nice and helpful, even booked and printed tickets to bus to the airport for us. Room was very spacious, contemporary looking, with separate comfortable beds, few tables, big plus for additional sink in the hallway. Common kitchen was spotless.

The door in the hallway slammed very loudly every 5 mins before midnight, so it was difficult to fall asleep. Would be nice to install some stoppers to hallway doors or improve soundproof of the rooms.
