Very charming team. Small hotel but efficient, someone 24h/24h available at the reception. Good location, 5mn from subway and 15mn from Bocconi. Very good wifi, very fast. Basic breakfast but it does the job. Good value for price. Two beds in the room, one with soft mattress, one with hard. I do not know if it is on purpose to offer choice, but I was happy of it and had good sleep on the hard one. There was a market on the street on friday, unexpected but nice to get local products before leaving.

In my room you could hear everything people say in the next room, very thin walls. Hopefull there was a pharmacy on the other side of the road with earplugs. Shower had water evacuation problem, become a bath and overflows if takes too long, unpleasant situation.

Simple but very nice breakfast, very good coffee! Cleanness and personal get the best score from me! Good location.

Soundproof of the rooms is very moderate, the one can hear tv from the neighbors room and talks in the corridor.

The staff was very friendly. It was good that the reception was open 24 hours a day. There was not much variety at breakfast, but it was still satisfying.

I stayed in a room for 2 people. The air conditioning stopped cooling after midnight. It seemed to be working but did not give cold air. It was fixed towards the morning.

The hotel has very convenient location close to Porta Romana metro station and 20 min walking distance to the Duomo. Also very short taxi drive to Linate airport. The staff is exceptionally helpful, very nice concierge helped me to find the place where I could do the PCR test for my departure flight. He also booked the appointment on Saturday which was not easy to do. My room was very clean and I had a pleasure staying there for four nights. There are two gellaterias and lots of cafeterias close to the hotel as well as large supermarket.

The Wi-Fi connection was not always stable (speed was good enough though). Due to the COVID the buffet breakfast was served by another person which doesn't speaks English well. One has to say what he or she would like to have not really seeing what is on the plates.. Kind of awkward but hopefully it will turn to normal when pandemics is over.

The location is great. Not downtown but six-min walk to subway M3. Easy to reach Navigli too. Several bars and restaurants really close to it. I felt safe walking alone at night. Not a fancy breakfast but everything was great, especially the croissants.

Sound proof between bedrooms could be better.

We arrived 5 hours earlier than check-in. They went out of their way to prepare our room in only a few minutes. Wonderful breakfast: coffees, croissants, cake of the day and the usual mixed fare you get in Italy. Nice setting. Church bells playing while we ate!

Room a little small but ok. If you're large (over 110 kg, you won't fit into the shower) One flight of stairs but that was ok for us.

Clean room, done every day,, friendly stuff, rich Italian breakfast (it means no vegetables), . Ideal place for bed and breakfast, hotel is near metro station Puerta Romana, many restaurants around , quiet street during week end, around 30 minutes walk from Naviglia.

Easy access to metro, lots of restaurants nearby, lovely place to stay. Nice room with air con and sky television. Early morning breakfast was lovely too with a lot of variety. definitely would stay again. They had luggage storage too once we checked out.

Toilet door was hard to open from inside. Good thing I travelled with my husband if not I’d have been trapped. When I spoke to reception their advise was to push it super hard from the inside which was easier said that done.

The unique thing about this hotel is the staff, extremely nice helpful and friendly. Breakfast tasty and the room clean with a comfortable bed. Location great with very good transport links to the most important places in Milan. I would definitely recommend choosing Hotel Piacenza for your stay in Milan.
